"Really enjoyed our stay. We got an amazing deal for a 6 night stay and we will definitely be back. It obviously wouldn't work taking kids being a studio room and I must say that if the room service/restaurant menus had more gluten free options we would have bought FAR more in the hotel, but it was a beautiful place to stay and the daily room service was amazing. The pool food/drink delivery didn't work which was a shame (once again - we would have bought so much more) but the view over the river and the super hot spa was awesome. We are definitely going back but will just have to eat out more (which i wish I could have had breakfast in bed delivered etc as well as rooms service with more dietary options). But fab hotel and beautiful (parking SUPER expensive tho at $47/night)"
"The hotel is located on the banks of the Brisbane River, in the city centre. The decoration has a strong British style, although it is older but quite stylish. Breakfast is pure western style, you can sit outdoors and enjoy the river view while eating, which is very suitable for leisure vacation."
"Our preferred hotel when in Brisbane, rooms are becoming tired and require the beds to be replaced asap preferably before we book the Stamford again. "

"The room is excellent and we had the great stay. The staff in the reception were very nice. Strongly recommend to have a drink with snacks on 21st floor. Brilliant view and very good feeling!"
"Absolutely exquisite. Just spent the weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary. Had an amazing stay. Total class and top service experience all round. We will definitely be back. "
"Perfect hotel, super talking at the front desk, first-class hardware, but the price difference between weekend prices and weekday prices is too big, valet parking is very convenient"

"The service is simply not too disgusting! I went to check in, and I had to charge a deposit of $100. I didn’t pay much attention. When I swiped the card, I found that they had swiped nearly $500. I asked if my room had been prepaid. Will retreat tomorrow! It doesn't matter so much, I just said very harshly, isn't this your problem? She said, yes yes, I'll give you a drink coupon! It's really funny. I don't want to say, she probably fooled it. Then there is no drinking water in the room. When I checked in, I didn't tell us to take the pot to the elevator. We thought that there was no water, so we took the drink voucher and went to the bar below to get a drink, but when we heard that you wanted to use the drink voucher, we said we were closed. We said that there was no water in the room, so we told us to fetch water by ourselves! What’s even more irritating is the breakfast, we ordered breakfast included, because it is a single breakfast, so a person can only order one drink and one breakfast! I added a few hundred yuan more, just two stuttering! If you want something else, you have to add money! An internet celebrity hotel is an internet celebrity hotel, and it's useless except to take photos of them! Really believe in evil and live here! The breakfast buffet at W is delicious!"
"Just stayed in this hotel, I haven't checked out, I can't help but talk about it. 1. The so-called Morandi color swimming pool, which is too stingy, similar to domestic hotels in the 1990s. Little Red Book claims to be "I haven't been here before, I haven't been to Brisbane." You can say this kind of crap, how much money you have collected, haha 2. Room facilities are ok, with electric curtains. It's just the same photo fraud. If you know how much I look forward to living here, it's the same as an ordinary hotel with more than 800 yuan. Why should I pay double the price? Who makes money is easy! 3. The ceiling and balcony are all cement floor paint. You can say that it is industrial style, but it is indeed low cost and not worth his price. 4. The parking space is $ 25 a night? It only cost $ 1.8 an hour to park by the side of the hotel, and it was free after 10pm to 7am. 5. The only good location is the location, there are many shops you want to visit, davidjones is just opposite, it is very convenient. After vomiting, I hope you do n’t spend money on thunder, just watched Ctrip, many good hotels are only 800.1000, you can watch the beautiful night view of Brisbane, you do n’t have to stick to the net red hotel."
"I chose to stay on the first day of my birthday. The hotel is better than I expected. I booked a city-view room at first, but later I thought the pool view was great and I wanted to change it. I would like to say that Ctrip's customer service attitude is good and has been helping to solve it, but it may not be very efficient, and it can not be guaranteed to change, but I still want to give praise to the customer service and patient attitude. Finally, I called the hotel to communicate my needs in the past, and I got the room type I wanted. The overall impression of the Hotel Calile is very good, especially the swimming pool, the swimming and camera experience is super nice! In the future Brisbane will choose to live here and will recommend it to friends."

"The facilities are very new and the decoration is quite stylish. The locals also say that it is a very nice hotel. Within 10 minutes walk from Queen Street, the environment is first class."
"Really like this hotel! Service Environment Facilities are very good! There is a parking lot. The front desk is a small bar. The elevator is still retro. Brisbane will choose this one."
"The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and the rooms are also very distinctive, especially the elevators. The location is very close to the train station, very convenient"

"We stayed here for our anniversary and were very pleasantly surprised with the lovely touches and fantastic staff. Without prompting, a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was was waiting on ice in our room. A light breakfast was also complimentary at our door the next morning. There are plenty of great places to eat and drink along Caxton Street strip and a quiet part of the city. We had a lovely view over Paddington. The room is great, a little small but well appointed: although a refresh of the bed head would be in order. We are looking forward to returning again and will upgrade to the suite. Fantastic value for money for a boutique CBD hotel. Thank you Gambaro for making our stay special!"
"We really enjoyed our stay here and it's a lovely hotel. The service was great, in particular, Maggie was a stand out! The rooms are lovely, with a fabulous balcony to enjoy a drink overlooking Caxton St. My two gripes are with the bathroom. The door and slats on the window offer zero privacy and if I was in a new relationship or staying with a friend, I would find this very uncomfortable. The other is the lighting which makes doing a gal's make up very challenging! However, we had a great stay here and I would definitely stay again!"
"Boutique hotel on Caxton Street. 30 metres from Lang Park with great restaurants and pubs to choose from. New, fresh and modern room. Pillow menu available. Parking availability is poor. We had an express menu served as room service. Coffee was barrista made as a pleasant surprise. Definately would stay again."

"I stay at the Ovolo regularly, by choice. It has a relaxed but stylish atmosphere, and is well located with plenty of restaurants close by to walk to. The staff are super friendly and cheerful - makes me happy when I arrive and I actually look forward to seeing them again. The room has everything I need, including complimentary snacks and drinks :-), and is spacious. Nicely decorated with stylish little bits, but not garish. Lately when I arrive in my room, there is a lovely "welcome back" card (and last time also a complimentary martini!) - makes me feel appreciated and special, and Alexa is playing my type of music. Will always stay here, its perfect for me."
"Such a fun and funky hotel! Very quirky and cute design, with a rooftop pool and well located in the Valley, I would recommend this property for a Brissy trip. The mini bar was free, which is a nice touch. Make sure to get the spa suite also with the roof hot tub :) "
"Pretty good hotel, very stylish and modern, Easy access to cafes and restaurants downstairs. heads up the restaurant apart of the hotel is vegetarian, amazing food just would was been nice to know. "

"The room is not bad and the view is quite good. It specifically meets our high-floor needs, but there is no bathtub in the room. Bathrobes and toiletries are rarely provided. There is only one facial cleanser. Obviously there is only one toothbrush in the room for two people, so call The front desk took it although the attitude is very good, but is it not the most basic thing that should be equipped? The shower is huge and it seems that it will leak if it is not tightened. These places are not particularly satisfied because we are going on holidays and the price is 3 times the usual I think you get what you pay for, it’s not worth the 3 times the price. The location is very good. It’s easy to walk anywhere. Swimming pool, gym, restaurant and other facilities are all satisfied, but the whole building feels smaller than expected 😂 Compared with the few buildings next to it The big one"
"Certain river view rooms were given to certain river view rooms. Ctrip's customer service resolved them in a timely manner, and it was not easy to keep working during the epidemic. Hotel location is good, roof bar on the 4th floor is also good, but overall does not have the luxury sense of a five-star hotel, the overall design style is slightly stylish, breakfast looks average but tastes good There are two problems: the air conditioner is too dry at night, the toilet flush button is particularly fragile, and the water churns all morning"
"In time for Christmas, I went to stay for one night. It is a twin room with river view. The location of the hotel is great. The view on the upper floors is really nice. Hot water in the bathroom is hot and cold. Disappointed that breakfast was changed to a la carte instead of buffet. It's terrible. It's not as good as eating in any restaurant on the street! Disappointed. Does not meet the standards of a five-star hotel. And the attitude of individual service staff is average."

"The hotel is opposite the casino and can be reached directly. It was refurbished from a very old building. I don’t know if it was a real vault before. The experience is good. The only downside is that the rooms are partitioned and the partition details are not perfect. It can be seen. The super high floor height gives people a different experience."
"Staff are friendly and helpful & the room was spacious & clean, the only drama was the night works being done outside (The Jack hammer started at 10pm) Luck I had a thousand beers and it didn't keep me awake, I would stay again."
"Convenient location Great restaurant food Super delicious steak in place This trip brings customers to experience Ctrip booking is cheaper than on-site booking Better in advance"

"It was our belated wedding anniversary celebration and I managed to finally use a gift certificate I got to stay at Spicer's in the city. I was so worried that we wouldn't be able to find a parking spot because we checked in late in the afternoon after a full day visiting museums at Southbank but luckily we found one inside the hotel. It was meant to be a great night. It was a smooth check-in and the receptionist had been very welcoming and enthusiastic in explaining the special Chinese New Year themed dinner that took place that night. I was extremely tired from a day of walking so having been shown our room, I fell in love with the bed instantly. The room was beautiful and the Scottish tablet to welcome us with was a nice touch. The veranda seemed very conducive to reading which I am a fan of. The bathroom was spacious and had nice touches with all the locally sourced bath products available. Everything in the room worked- they were all practical, convenient to use and ties up with the whole room decor. There was an option to have pre-dinner drinks at their rooftop bar which seemed like a lovely idea because it overlooked the cityscape but I was too tired and happy with the room, that we lounged around until dinner. Dinner had been prompt and we had a nice outdoor spot with full access to the nice summer breeze. We were certainly spooled for choice with their drinks menu. Overall, It was a very nice Chinese New Year themed 3-course dinner. Everything on the menu was scrumptious and we finished every morsel. Plus having access to insect repellent spray was also a godsend because knowing how it is in Queensland in the summer...well you know what I mean. Now, breakfast was ala carte provided with the gift certificate. It was your usual fusion type breakfast which was also fine but to be honest, the hotel room was enough to warrant the five stars for me. I would return to this gem of a hotel in the city in a heartbeat. I really enjoyed my time here. Thanks Spicers Balfour."
"We married on the eve of Australia’s Coronavirus lockdown. Ours was possibly the last wedding in Brisbane before church closures took effect. A global pandemic adds a whole other level of wedding stress — oh gosh, was it stressful! — but thanks to the exceptional team at Spicers Balfour, we still had a perfect day. Juliana was a God send. She took care of us as if we were family, helped to rearrange the dwindling guest list’s seating arrangements and kept a frazzled bride focused on what was most important: marrying the love of her life. We can’t thank Juliana, Bonnie, Jack and Simon enough. We are so happy we decided to have our reception at a Spicers establishment because not only did we received five-star food and service on our wedding day (absolutely flawless), we also receive five- star care and concern, including above-and-beyond help from Juliana in rearranging our honeymoon plans, TWICE! We are now Spicers fans for life, and would highly recommend the Balfour Kitchen to anyone wanting the perfect wedding reception once the Coronavirus crisis is over."
"A 'pet friendly' luxury hotel is a rare find, to almost impossible. Should you wish to stay in Brisbane, I can highly recommend the Spicers Balfour Hotel nestled in the fashionable district of New Farm. The 'pet friendly' suite offers you a luxury stay that you don't have to compromise on the quality due to traveling with your pet. Organic Cotton sheets make for a heavenly sleep, whilst the immaculate dog bed coupled with soft and snuggly blanket made our dog feel right at home. If you are a discerning pet owner and looking for a hotel with your pet, Spicers Balfour is the place. "
