"The front desk staff was very helpful but the room was filthy. Carpets had stains everywhere and hadn't been vacuumed. Bathroom also wasn't clean. Black hairs were on the washcloths and in the sink. The counter was also dirty."
"The hotel was deceived by Xiaohongshuwanghong Hotel. The hotels in New York were small and expensive. Later, the eastern self-driving tour found that the hotels in the United States were expensive and old."
"The room is next to Madison Park, and the first shake shack is downstairs! Excellent location. The room is big enough! The lobby is also beautiful!"

"The hotel is very close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a walk takes place. The rooms are small but beautifully furnished. Two bottles of Evian mineral water are delivered every day. The first day has fruit bowls. Many people in the lobby elevators wear clothes to highlight New York fashion. It was unfortunate that I met an Oolong front desk man and gave me two pre-authorizations. I had to pay a hundred for the prepayment of the house. He brushed a hundred and then brushed for 590 dollars. I didn't point out that he didn't explain this to me. When I showed the text message of payment, he went to the office and said something to another person. Then the person came out and checked that they didn't collect more money, everything was OK, then I asked. What should I do with this money? The man said that he will be able to return it to me. This is a mistake. This is of course a mistake. The lady who came to check did not apologize and said that there was no problem. I am very dissatisfied with this. I didn’t receive more than five hundred dollars in the morning, but I returned a hundred dollars. It was too much. I checked this matter with them when I checked out. They said that they didn’t collect more money. The pre-authorization will be after I left. I gave it back in a few days. They did not collect the money but brushed up the pre-authorization, and did not release the pre-authorization when I left. It was almost a month before I received the automatic cancellation. The rooms in the hotel are very good and good value for money, but for the work at the front desk, remind the Chinese compatriots to pay attention!"
"Walking to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum is very close, the surrounding environment is typical of the Upper East Side, and it is not convenient to buy food outside. The room is extra large and the bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom is large, the shower water is like a waterfall, the water is huge and soft, and the bathroom products have their own brand and feel high-end. Evian water and chocolate are delivered every day, and the service is warm and thoughtful. Very satisfied. The downside is that the lobby bar is small and the price of the hotel is very expensive."
"The location is very good and a few minutes walk to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The service staff was also very enthusiastic, but even when I checked in at the front desk, I brushed my card twice, once for one hundred dollars, once for more than five hundred dollars. I asked them why they said that they made a mistake and didn’t consume it. They will return to me one day later. It’s no use to see more than five hundred now."

"My friends and I stayed at the hotel last month to celebrate a staycation birthday. As this stay was during covid and indoor dining was not allowed in New York State, the hotel was quiet. Although it was quiet, it still was very beautiful and clean. We were welcomed into our stunning, modern art deco styled suite with balloons and a thoughtful card left by the hotel staff. Not only that, but they also brought up a pretty pink display on a bar cart after we asked for a bucket of ice and some wine glasses. Whenever we needed something, they went above and beyond to bring it to our room. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined after our departure. I noted an extra charge on my bill that didn’t seem right so I called the hotel to clarify. I was told the charge was for a bottle of tequila. Not only a bottle of tequila, but a bottle of clase azul. My friends and I did not drink any of the liquor, especially a bottle that is that recognizable and known to be very expensive. After denying these allegations and disputing the check with the accounting manager, they decided to give me 50% of the charge back. I could not believe that after spending almost $1,000 on a one night stay, they thought I would be trying to rip them off and steal a bottle of clase azul. I am deeply disappointed in these allegations and it unfortunately ruined our experience staying at this hotel."
"There are truly no words to express how wonderful our stay was at The Carlyle. From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Due to covid we canceled our wedding and instead decided to get married in a suite at The Carlyle. It was the perfect setting! Although it was not what we had originally planned, the ladies and gentlemen at The Carlyle provided us with the perfect wedding."
"We needed to get on with life and spoiled ourselves by staying 3 nights at one of my favorite hotels. No restaurants yet or room service, but the staff did an outstanding job making it a wonderful trip. The carefully curated breakfast bags with muffins, croissants, fruit, yogurt and granola was perfect, and varied each day. Can't wait to go to Bemelmans when it opens up and hope to have another staycation there soon. "

"Our stay at the Broome Hotel was nothing short of perfect. The quality and charm of the room, the hygiene standards they maintained during COVID, and the service were excellent. Couldn't write a review without mentioning the amazing complimentary breakfast as well!!!! Could not recommend a stay here more. Thank you for a wonderful few days!"
"We did a staycation in the penthouse suite. I was disappointed for mainly 2 reasons. 1. The outdoor area looked amazing in the photos. However, upon arrival the outdoor furniture was not what was advertised and in fact they were damaged and ripped. We tried to make the best of it and fell through the chairs while sitting on them. They were cheap lounge chairs that should never have been used in a hotel. 2. The bed is advertised as a Queen bed when it is really a full bed and it was not comfortable. These things are important details to note when making your decision. The location is great and you have access to a few different neighborhoods. "
"Loved the hotel. The penthouse was terrific. The water stayed hot in the giant tub which was amazing. The only things that were a little off were easily fixable: for example, there were no glasses or silverware and it would have been nice if there were bathrobes and if there was a complimentary snack basket or something. Given the cost of the room per night, it felt a little stingy. "

"The room is relatively small, it is a bit difficult to turn around if the shower is fat. If you have sleep problems, please be careful: the floor is not soundproof, walking around, listening to the toilet is all real, especially the sound of flushing the toilet. On the floors, the elevators are dim, which is clearly the hue of their pursuit. The floor is not high, so there is no view at all. The room facing the street is noisy. The only bright spot is that it is located in the center of the SOHO area. The subway and dining are more convenient."

"Hotel location is good, in New York's most prosperous midtown Manhattan, where to go, Times Square, Empire State Building can walk, take the Hudson River, go to Washington to take a bus is also very convenient, the site is in the hotel and Had Between the rivers. In New York, where the price of more than two hundred dollars a day is not expensive, it is not cheap. The reception at the entrance was an Asian woman. I felt that there was no enthusiasm for foreigners who came across the road, but it didn’t matter. The room is small, but it can be understood, after all, the location is excellent."
"The hotel is small, the sound is not good, the air conditioner is very loud, and the blowing is uncomfortable. The most troublesome thing is that the washing room is quite unsettled, and the water is easy to seep down the building. This is not satisfactory. But the location of the hotel is very good, to the attractions, the station is more convenient."
"Apart from the good attitude of handling two male front desks, this one is really fine if you don't need to save money. The New York Festival in those days, the hotel price is high and difficult to book, one night would like to forget about it, the price of less than 800 if this location is not because of the musty smell of the entire room is considered good value, of course, the taste You can wake people up in the middle of the night."

"I stayed here for 4 nights. While the public rooms were beautiful my room was somewhat dated. (I got rid of my hunt prints years ago.) But spacious and comfortable. I would ask for one of the updated rooms. I had breakfast daily, once in the dining room as well as room service when I came down with the flu. Breakfast in the dining room is lovely, impeccable service on beautiful china. Unfortunately the food.... not horrible but not up to this beautiful hotel. Toast and a bagel on different days, burnt. French toast?, please, my grandchildren make better. Its not supposed to be dry bread in the middle. Again, impeccable service, beautiful surroundings but just not well prepared food. Doormen. Hmmm. One of them was great, always with smile.....but others? Its always your first and last impression of a hotel. Rarely would they open both doors for you or even offer to get you a cab. At times they were on the house phone and you were an afterthought. When I left the doorman asked if he could get a cab to the airport for me. Great, I was struggling with my luggage, already out front. No cab. Finally a cab drops off a couple, I go over to ask if he could take me to the airport. The doorman finally comes back (where did he go?) and loads the suitcases I took over to the cab myself. Not the service expected. Beautiful property, either fantastic service or a disappointment. Oh how I wanted to love you....."
"We had one night in the city and hadn’t stayed at the Lowell before. The check in was warm and welcoming when we got there. Explaining which restaurants close by were open, how we could get breakfast in the morning, etc. The room itself was gorgeous and well appointed and bed super comfy. There was a nice bonus of two free mini bar choices since they decided not to leave a welcome gift of food because of COVID. The only thing I would have changed: there was an option on the TV to donate cash to the hotel (assuming it was for the hard times caused by the pandemic). If it was an adoption to donate $ that went directly to the employees, I would have donated in a heartbeat!"
"I will definitely be coming back to this hotel on my visits to NYC. It is a classic old school NYC hotel, with impeccable service, beautiful old suites with some having wild burning fireplaces. Fantastic location, but units not inexpensive so be prepared to pay but it is well worth it in my opinion. Enjoy it and have fun there it has a great. Bar and the Gym is being re-done because it is in need of it. It is th one thing that they needed to fix but they are my only hope is that I can still get in, as it is in my opinion one of the best in the city."

"[Location] is very advantageous! Walking to Bryant Park is within a hundred steps, and is close to Central Station. The surrounding CVS service is everywhere, not too far from the shopping area. It is very convenient! [The hotel exterior decoration] feels old-fashioned, but the interior of the [room] is still very simple and modern. The quality of the mattress is very very good. I haven't slept in such a comfortable bed for a long time~ I will send a lot of cookies on the first day of stay. The room is quite big, mainly the area of the bathroom! [Gym] equipment is professional and advanced, and experienced a gravity-free treadmill haha The family has always been the diehard powder of the Diffuser of Langting. The family has always used the habit of Diffuser, so when you enter the lobby, you will feel the taste of Langting, and you will feel at home."
"I didn't have breakfast at the hotel because the booking price is not included. Many cafes near the hotel. I chose a French breakfast in a French restaurant next to the hotel and it felt good. The location is good, within a ten minute walk from the Empire State Building and Macy's."
"Access is safe and convenient, the hotel has a beautiful environment, and the service is quite attentive. One day, when the man went out, he specially called the hotel car to take us. The bathroom is large and the facilities are complete."

"like very much! Will stay next time! I heard that baccarat is a French crystal maker. I am looking forward to the atmosphere of the hotel and so on. After I went there, I was satisfied with the service. Even the woody fragrance in the elevator is very attractive ... recommended! Afternoon tea in the hotel is famous, but both my friends and I think the value is more than the taste itself. The price is average ... everything else is good!"
"The location is excellent, next to the Fifth Avenue and the MoMA Museum. The interior design is elegant and noble, the atmosphere is not superficial, the service is excellent, the door keys are very unique and collectible. There are many artworks in the hotel, and there is one door at the door of each room. Showcase, hotel restaurant Grand Salon is full of crystal art of Baccarat"
"🍃Environment: The room is really beautiful. It should be the best hotel in New York at the moment. There is a touch of cypress scent in the hotel and it smells very comfortable. 🔔Service: The little brother who carried the luggage on the first floor served very well. He told me that it was about to rain and gave me an umbrella, but it really rained later😂"

"Living in the four seasons of the New Year, nothing else, but suddenly broadcast on New Year's Day and the night, saying that it was a fire alarm, woke us all up, and the domestic epidemic situation was already tense. Later asked, saying that other guests triggered the smoke detector."
"Very good experience, but the service details are still far from Asia. Sometimes the night bed service is not available. The glass of the water bar is less than one day. The bath towel suddenly disappears. The bottled water seems to be given by mood."
"The location is excellent, the room is spacious and the design is reasonable and many details are popular. The hotel is located in Lower New York very close to the World Trade Center. Hotel people are rarely very quiet."

Weather Forecast and Travel Tips for New York
Sep 17, 2021 New York Weather: Cloudy, Northeasterly Wind: 0–10 kph, Humidity: 80%, Sunrise/Sunset: 06:37/19:04
New York Running: Good
The March to May spring and September to November autumn are warm, cozy, and good for being outdoors. Bringing along a light jacket is advisable due to the huge morning and night temperature difference. July to August are relatively warmer, and the beaches are particularly popular; do bring along something to prevent the burns. Come winter in November to March, the weather would be noticeably colder and snowstorms or blizzards are frequent, and therefore outdoors activities are inadvisable. The December climate is really cold and it is strongly suggested that you bring along winter clothing.
