"I personally think that this hotel is the best hotel in the location and environment of Bowness. The atmosphere inside the hotel is British, clean and hygienic. You can walk directly from the garden to the lake. There are two little rabbits in the garden, which is the hometown of Peter Rabbit. Means. Breakfast is generous, with both cold and hot meals. Our two adults stayed with one child, and the hotel helped us upgrade to the family room for free, a pleasant surprise. The Lake District is the last stop of our entire British itinerary, so we chose a hotel with a slightly higher price, but compared to London, the price is super high, so leisure and comfort are important. In short, rest assured that you can choose this hotel. It is very convenient to take a bus from Windermere Station."
"The breakfast is rich. The location is unique, with the restaurant facing the lake, and the pier by boat at the door. We also had the dinner at the hotel. It is very good. The only downside is that the room we stayed in was very stuffy and not ventilated at all."
"The location is excellent, the lake can be seen in the middle of the lake, the traditional English breakfast, but the afternoon tea in the sun is very enjoyable, the tea is very good, the room is old, the space is still quite big."

"I stayed with two children for three nights. From the location of the hotel is a bit biased, walking distance to the town or the lake, you must take a taxi or drive. The environment of the hotel itself is excellent, the garden ponds are well maintained, the interior decoration is also very tasteful and tasteful, and many artworks are decorated. But the room itself is a bit unsatisfactory, I have a view room, and booked a room with a sofa bed in advance, the room size is good, the lake area is big, but the ventilation is not good, there is no air conditioning, it is stuffy, I have to open the cabinet Electric fan in the room. The hotel's dining is good, the breakfast included buffet and a la carte, the dinner level is also very high, but the choice is relatively small, we almost tried it for three nights."
"Very good hotel, the location is relatively biased, about 4 or 5 kilometers from the train station, need to play, the scenery is very beautiful, the hotel courtyard landscape is too hard, really very relaxing. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the lake. It is all downhill, a bit far away, and it is not suitable for walking. It is perfect if you drive by yourself. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was also heated and the clothes were easy to dry."
"The breakfast is very good. It is divided into two parts: self-service and ordering. There are about 7 dishes in order. The basic taste of this stay is three days. The hotel has a car park, the hotel is on the hill, and it takes at least 30 minutes to walk from the bowness pier. It is recommended to call the car. Ideal for kids, the hotel has a typical English garden, forest, green areas, lakes, etc., perfect for a holiday."

"The location of the hotel is a 5-minute drive from the train station, next to the pier, and the cruise ships depart here, which is very convenient. The room was quite spacious. The breakfast restaurant is facing the garden and the lake. The disadvantage is that the room where the hotel lives is only one wooden door from the next room, so the sound insulation is not good. It happens to be the young Cp who lives next to him. It seems to be in bed from morning to night. The sound of the awkward bed can be imagined. … Have to sing with the child and take the child out, but was complained next door because of the singing ... Is it embarrassing but wrong? However, this small episode does not prevent us from leaving the beautiful tranquility and harmony of Lake Windermere in our fond memories."
"The hotel is not far from the train station, you can take the bus, call the taxi is also 5 fat, very close to the lake, take 1 or 2 minutes to be OK. Because of the booked lake view room, there is a balcony, looking at the lake view, very beautiful. The Lake View Room also delivered red wine and fruit, very attentive. There is no way to have an extra bed in the room. There is only one big bed, then put on the table, sofa, etc. There is no other space. The bathroom is still very spacious, there are slippers, but there is no toothbrush, you have to bring your own. The two photos in the picture below are taken on the balcony."
"The price is very average, there is no harm without comparison. Last night I stayed at the Rose Manor Hotel in Ambleside. The price was more than 400 yuan cheaper than one night here. Maybe it was because the Chinese were fooled by Bones and became a gathering place for tour groups? So the hotel is expensive and the facilities are not good. In fact, only this time I found that the scenery and humanities of Ambleside and Keswick are better, and the hotel is more cost-effective! I hope it will be helpful to domestic tourists who come to the Lake District in the future!"

Lake Road, Bowness On Windermere, Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria, United Kingdom
"The hotel is in a good location. It takes 5 minutes to go to the Bowness pier, and then to the many restaurants in the town. It is also close to the Peter Rabbit World and walks. The entire Lake District is a small town all the way, and Bowness Pier windermere is the famous and lively town. Each child is charged an additional 30 pounds (including breakfast). The room is not big, the child must add a bed, basically only the place to walk. We lived like a mezzanine, and an elevator would have to change to an elevator or take a flight. The small biscuits in the room were quite delicious, but I forgot to ask where the front desk bought it. I didn’t find it on Taobao after returning home."
"I really like this hotel, the big bathtub, the hotel's own micro spa, the room has a touch of essential oil, the hotel bed is soft and the supplies are clean. Good location, very close to Bowness Pier, walking for three minutes, the only minor drawback, the two taps of the wash basin hot and cold water, sometimes difficult to control the water temperature. The other is very satisfied, the waiter is warm and courteous, help us book taxi, next time Windermere will choose here. There is also a play center, although a little small but the children are very happy and like to play there."
"The family room can't feel much bigger than the average room. The two big people and two children are quite crowded. After the extra bed, they can only walk around in the bed, and the price is not high. The advantage of the family room is that it has a walkway balcony that can be accessed directly from the landing door. The location is very good and the fun of the small town of Windmere is very convenient."

"There is a pool, but there is no pool. The front desk service is not good, I feel that I am too lazy to take care of you, and seeing the child will force the extra bed to charge 35 fat one night, a bit arrogant. The room attendant was very nice and the waiter in the restaurant was very good."
"Five-star recommendation, all kinds of good, here you can fully appreciate the British life culture, style, beauty, food, large blockbuster ^_^ green grass and garden, the room is British style, very beautiful."
"The location is in the mountains, a little distance from bowness in Windermere, but the environment is very peaceful, which is very suitable as a place to rest."

"What a lovely hotel, we stayed in suite 10 for 3 nights and everything was perfect from the moment we got there, reception staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The room was beautiful, classy and attention to detail from the lighting to the fabrics. Comfy extra large bed, slippers, robes, chocolate and bubbly all good quality. The bathroom had a T.V above a double sized jacuzzi bath with mood lighting and underfloor heating. We bought the wintermacy offer which gave us the chocolates, bubbly, afternoon tea for 2 and a lake cruise, fantastic price and worth every penny. We went for my 50th birthday because I have always wanted to try this boutique hotel and while there my partner proposed so this hotel will now alway be special to us. The afternoon tea was at the fizzy Tarté and was tasty and was lovely to be included in the price. My bestie and her husband came to stay in the hotel one of the nights and they said there room was really nice. Breakfast was include, good choices and staff very helpful. We made use of the spa just 5 minutes away which was included in the price. Everywhere within the hotel was covid safe and clean. Anyone staying must buy a huggie teddy bear and on of the Cranleigh robes, they were good quality and value for money, the huggie would be lovely if it had a Cranleigh robe on. We will come to this hotel again for a special occasion and would definitely recommend. "
"Fantastic stay from start to finish! Hotel staff were very friendly and advised we were a bit early but would call as soon as the room was ready, car park was at the front of the main hotel. Once called we went back to main reception for check in and headed down (2 min walk) to the church suites. The indulgence suite is out of this world, everything is controlled by an I pad. Mini bar was complimentary stocked, and we had a bottle of prosecco as arranged with our booking. Bed was comfy - maybe a little too soft for us but that's preference. Hot tub - amazing. Covered so you don't get rained on! Perfect as it rained the entire time we were there. Can't fault our stay at all, hotel is very central and close to everything you need in Bowness! We will definitely stay again! "
"We stayed for 2 nights in luxury room 5. On arrival there was no parking on site but found the overflow car park fairly easily not too far away. Check in was smooth, our room was ready and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely clean room, spacious and lovely bathroom. Bed really comfortable and modern decor. We went straight to the Fizzy Tart where we had afternoon tea which was included. Breakfast was also excellent each morning, I had the full Cumbria which was delicious. Location is more or less in centre of Bowness so ideal location and we would stay here again."

"My abiding memory of my stay at the Kendal Premier Inn will be the two members of staff that I met; Samantha and Diane were the highlights of the stay, going that extra mile to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible despite having their hands tied in certain situations by higher management and contractors. The rooms were standard Premier Inn with some new additions including a good TV (when they get them installed properly). Covid 19 protections and protocols were excellent and the inn was very clean. Located in the centre of the town, close to all its amenities and public transport links, shops, restaurants, pubs and bars."
"From the warm, friendly welcome, comfortable room and great location just off the main high street this Premier Inn did not disappoint. A bit further off the motorway than we realised but well worth the extra 10 mins. With lockdown there were still plenty of opportunities to get a meal or use JustEat and the receptionist even offered to bring it to our room!!!!! Be aware that there is an on-site parking charge of £5 p/n but nearby parking is available."
"Friendly staff. Always in reception. Easy parking- paid £5 per day. Good location for work and for food delivery and collecting. Room was clean and a good size to work and relax. Beautiful walks very close by."
