Carretera Lr-137 Km 4.6, Entrena, La Rioja, Spain
"We have stayed at the Finca many, many times and are very comfortable there. The food in the restaurant scores very highly - especially the Menu Tierra @ euro's 42.90 incl wine, etc. We actually went out of our way to Thank the Chef for an excellent well balanced, well prepared meal. Unfortunately our relaxing evening was spoilt by the attitude of a rather surly young waitress - who frankly wanted us to throw our food down and get us out of the way before a party 6 - yes 6 came in. ( The restaurant turned 16 tables in a little over 2 hours ) Now we had been driving for 7 hours plus - so the idea was to take a shower, smarten up and have a relaxing dinner. We advised the waitress we were in no hurry so there would be no complaints about slow service. She insisted we must order all our meal, incl our dessert before even taking a sip of wine. We were only going to have a cold dessert - so no stress to the kitchen there. The food and wine score hi - what a shame this evening was spoilt by a waitress. Still one of my favorites but there is a need to think about service - not everyone is in a rush to have a 4 course meal in an hour or so. Hotel recommended - tho some signs of tiredness in the rooms."
"Am moved to write this short review as we had an absolutely fabulous dinner last Friday - Thanks to the Chef and all the staff - Raquel, Juliana, Julia and Sara. The dinner service was excellent - Beef Carpaccio, Artichoke n bacon, Hake and veg, Duck with marmalade, Squid. Finished off with Baked cheesecake and Strawberry ice cream. This all on a night when the local village were having a very special dinner so it was incredibly busy. As for the wines available / served - El Conjuro ( Tinto ) and Viero ( Blanco ) - take some home with you. So what can I say - THANK YOU to everyone that made yet another stay memorable. Highly recommended."
"Only 14 rooms at this hotel on a vineyard. We stayed in one of 10 rooms designed by Spanish designer which was super quirky. The shower was behind a screen and separate to the toilet (with a door) and sink (behind another screen). All very modern. The beds were comfortable. Room super clean. The best bit was the view! Each room has a balcony overlooking beautiful vineyards and mountains. The sunset was epic! A small fridge in the room. Free WiFi and free breakfast. We booked in the restaurant and enjoyed a very nice meal with wine. You have to book in advance. There’s a spa which we used - €20 extra for two hours and you have to bring a swimming cap or pay for one there also. Take your own towel (even from the room). There is a sauna and a steam room, a pool and a jacuzzi and two sensory showers. There’s also an outside seating/sun lounging area. No vineyard tour :-( "

Calle Mayor de Migueloa, 20, Laguardia, Basque Country, Spain
"Set amongst 300-year old vineyards in the La Rioja-Alavesa region, Posada Mayor de Migueloa is housed in a 17th-century Baroque mansion, Palacio de Viana. It features a restaurant serving traditional Basque and Riojan cuisine. The guest house maintains many charming, historic features and has antique furnishings. These combine to provide an authentic and traditional, Spanish setting for your stay. The hotel’s greatest feature is the cavernous, vaulted wine cellar – full of the most exquisite wines from the surrounding Rioja region and beyond. Enjoy your choice with a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant. You can also learn about the local varieties and more with a wine-tasting session at the hotel. The Posada Mayor de Migueloa is found in the Medieval village of Laguardia, part of the Rioja Alavesa region. This area is known for its full-bodied wines. The surrounding Riojan countryside is ideal for hiking, cycling, climbing and horse riding. Other local activities include hang-gliding, fishing, speleology and hunting."

Paseo San Raimundo, 15, Laguardia, Basque Country, Spain
"We were extremely unhappy with the service. The hotel advertied spa facilities and it was the main reason why we booked it, choosingit instead of other hotels in the region. Once we arrived, we were told that the spa and indoor pool was closed, and we were not informed of this beforehand. They insisted the info was in the website of the hotel (which indeed it was, but not on the booking website, and definitely not when we booked it. So it means that after we book it on Booking.com we need to be checking everyday the website of the hotel? Can´t the hotel send any emails to the customers who booked it to inform about any problems in the services provided? Considering it is a 4 star hotel, that would be expected!). We ended up not booking visits in other wineries because we wanted to enjoy some time on the spa, and we ended up not being able to book on a short notice - and doing nothing in the end. Ok, I get that the pool facilities could be broken and this kind of things do happen, but I was appalled by how the staff dealt with the problem: we were told that "we should have booked the spa in advance" (I wonder why, as I wouldn´t be able to enjoy it anyway and it would only add to my frustration for paying a service that it is not being provided) and that "in winter people don´t use the pool, and it is the low season" (we were there on a hot day in early October, at the peak of the harvest season which, I imagine, is the high season for any wine region!). I was surprised in seeing how the staff at the hotel was so unprepared to provide a professional service. The hotel is quite expensive, which would be fair enough considering the services it provides. Unfortunately for us, without the outdoor and indoor pool and all the spa facilities closed, Sercotel was not more than a expensive bed and breakfast - and for that price and service, we could have stayed in another hotel..."
"Located just outside the village (approximately 1,000 metres) this is a great hotel but you will need a car or have to pay for taxis, which are not found in the village and come from the nearby town of Logroño. Not a hotel for anyone that cannot walk far unless you just want to stay in the hotel. Lovely clean bedrooms, airy and bright, with lots of space. Let down a bit by the bathroom which needed a good overhaul to bring to the standard of the room. Everything worked and the shower was incredibly good but the general standard was a bit tatty with chips out of the enamel, veneer flaking off the door and tatty iron fittings. An excellent restaurant and fantastic range of wines. Great helpful and friendly staff in all areas. Sadly though the much advertised "Wine Oil Spa" was not working throughout our stay and disappointed us."
"One of the main reason we booked this hotel was it had ample parking, but was still within walking distance of the village, and this proved really useful with our large rental car. The rooms are a bit tired and dated, and it was the kind of twin room which definitely would be a struggle to turn into a double given the large piece of furniture between the beds. The views from our room are fantastic, across the mountains, with a bodega in the near distance. Given the temperature was still warm I had hoped to maybe use one of the pools, but the outside pool closes mid-September, and the indoor was closed for repairs. There is a lovely sun terrace outside of the main restaurant / bar, but the sun covers were not open when we stayed and it was too hot to sit there directly – equally the patio/French doors seem to be closed most of the time, so getting a drink from the bar to the terrace was more complicated than it needed to be. It did feel like we were there out of season, but in the evening the car park was full? It felt like these sort of minor issues lost some of the charm of the location."

Avenida Club Deportivo 98, Logrono, La Rioja, Spain
"The location is out of the old town but easily accessible by bus. The bus stop was 1 minute walk from the hotel and the bus to catch is #4. There are a few restaurants and bars surrounding the hotel and a supermarket about 5 minutes walk towards the city on the RHS. This hotel is by far one of the better ones we stayed in which goes the extra mile with the coffee machine and free quality bottle water. The bed was so comfortable with lovely white clean sheets and doona with extra pillows. The bathroom had quality toiletries and fittings and large towels. There was a room safe and wardrobe space. The staff were generally pleasant but not always at reception to welcome guests. The breakfast looked plentiful but still continental style. The WiFi worked well but the Aircon was not very effective and the room felt warmish all the time. I did complain about this but was told that it was regulated however it was a lot cooler outside the room than inside! The TV was great with many English channels which has not been the case at any of the hotels we have stayed this far. A fridge seems to be the hardest thing to expect in a room. There was free parking around the hotel but public and not private. Apparently there is private parking a couple of blocks up the road at a cost. We had no issues with the street parking. Overall: I would stay here again mainly for the quick getaway to the motorway and bust access to the pintos calles in the old town."
"We stayed two nights at this hotel while doing some wine tasting in Rioja. I thought the hotel had a lot of character, the room was huge with exposed beams on the ceiling. Not a cookie cutter box at all. The bathroom had an amazing rain shower once I figured out the controls. The location is excellent, we took the Alsa bus from Madrid and it is less than 10 minutes walk. We found lots of restaurants in close proximity. We walked to Bodegas Franco Españolas across the river too, 10 minutes away, and did a nice tasting with no appointment. Breakfast was nice, had the usual fare, plus they offered to cook a fresh egg or omlet too. Good service from the staff and I felt I got a good deal for the price point too!"
"Nice comfortable hotel and great breakfast Lovely room with great air conditioning Nothing was too much trouble as far as gluten free for coeliacs Parking under Hotel worked well for cars and motorbikes The Tapas area is just a short walk The receptionists and breakfast staff were really nice "

Saturnino Ulargui, 6, Logrono, La Rioja, Spain
"We stayed in this hotel for three nights while we toured the Rioja wine region. It is in the center of Logroño. You can walk everywhere. Our room was very reasonably priced, basic but very clean and fine for what we needed. They had parking next door, but we were unable to park there as it is impossible to negotiate the ramps unless you have a very small car. We were renting a little Citroen, but couldn’t negotiate the turn! We parked in a public parking lot a few minutes walk away which was cheaper and much easier to park in. Other than that no complaints. It is not a luxurious hotel, but inexpensive, in a great location and very clean."
"This is a great hotel that was recommended to us by a friendly local that gave us a wine tour in Haro. It's located in a great place in the middle of downtown Logroño and is within great walking distance from Calle Laurel where all of the great Pinchos bars are located. They have parking onsite and the staff is friendly. I would stay here again. "
"Lovely hotel, friendly staff. It was more central then when I first realised, as it was a stones throw from the busy eating and drinking areas. The room was lovely and quiet and I was not disturbed by any external noise. Very clean and very good nights sleep, really enjoyed my stay."

"The room is large enough and the hygiene is good. The location is not in the city center, but LOGRONO is not big. The design of the shower room lacked a place for shower gel and shampoo. Restaurant food was good."

Avda. Gran Vía D. Juan Carlos I, 71 Bis, Logrono, La Rioja, Spain
"To begin; this location is excellent. Walking distance to many attractions, the metro, the City Bus tour. (Worth it.) The hotel is beautiful. The beds and pillows are very, very comfortable. Not a large closet, if you worry about that. Amazing water pressure and very hot. Turn the shower head to the wall and adjust the temperature before entering. Use the shower mat! Very slippery floor. Our room had a small terrace which was very nice. While it faced the back of several apartment buildings it was fine. The hotel is immaculate. There is a 4 o'clock tea time. Small sandwiches, pastry, coffee and you can meet other guests. The coffee machine is available 24/7. Check out the patio behind the dining room. The hotel staff is especially helpful. The Gran Via is rated 3 stars but is worthy of higher. We especially want to thank Karen in the food service area; and at the front desk, Marc, Lydia and Oskar. Have fun in Barcelona."
"Lovely ,clean , friendly central city hotel with spacious , quiet rooms. Breakfast was assisted due to Corona but was very good and the service superb. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Calle Laurel is 15 mins walk and another 5 minutes brings you to the cathedral. We were on a Golf/wine tasting recce for a travel company and found that this hotel was in the centre for golf courses and wine tasting at the bodegas. The only gripe is the underground garage. Very tight and cramped and not for the feint hearted. €19 per night is a little on the high side. Free parking CAN be found 500m away but is this convenient? I would stay here again for definite "
"We have stayed in the Hotel Gran Via for nearly 10 years from now ever since we visit our bussiness partners in Logroño. The attention is remarkable and the hotel is very convenient for exploring downtown Logroño, shopping and holding bussiness meetings."

Menendez Pelayo, 7, Logrono, La Rioja, Spain
"We chose this hotel as it advised parking which you always pay for but we were shown to a carpark next to the hotel and not the garage attached to the hotel which had a lift from it. The space we were allocated was really too small for our car and we struggled to park. To access this garage you needed a key from Reception which was really inconvenient. The only information in our room was a small note advising you to keep your suitcases locked! There was no safe in the room and we had to leave our valuables in a sealed envelope in a locker at reception. This again was so inconvenient as there was no easy access. Also there was no fridge in the room. But our room was modern and clean and there was a fair choice of food at breakfast. We had no trouble finding the hotel and thought the situation good. For the price we paid we cannot really complain."
"This hotel is probably more popular with business travellers, but it was ok for a 2 night stay. The staff were welcoming on arrival and throughout my stay. The location is only 5 minutes walk from the bus station and a little more from the train station. It is another 10-12 minutes walk to the old centre, so I'd say the location is absolutely perfect. It is also opposite a small park that has quite a lively bar. The room was quite simple, but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nice, although at times the staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves and I didn't find one of the waiters especially friendly."
"Has clearly been recently refurbished (or at least parts of it). Room size is good however bath and toilets are quiet old and leaking. Bed was comfortable with nice quality sheets. Overall clean and fair for it's price. Some of the stuff aren't that friendly."
