"I haven’t lived, I haven’t canceled it, I feel too many people, like a business hotel on business trip, heating is still bad."
"Yes, breakfast is basically a British flavor."

"About 20 minutes drive from the airport, just across the Bay Bridge and walk to the beach for about 20 minutes. Free parking is ideal for self-driving places. The hotel is inexpensive, the rooms are large, the facilities are new, the toiletries are good, clean and tidy, and the service is warm. Breakfast is not included, breakfast is expensive at your own expense, it is not recommended. Next to it is the famous Tesco supermarket in the UK. Everything is there. It is much better to buy breakfast than the hotel. Parking in the ancient city of Edinburgh is huge, and for those of us foreigners, it is very troublesome to find a parking space. It is recommended to park the hotel. There is a 43 bus at the door. The journey costs 1.75 pounds and goes straight to Santa Cruz Square. It takes about 50. Minutes, very convenient, and on the upper level of the double-decker bus, the Edinburgh Castle is perfect."
"It is the best airport hotel I have ever stayed in. It has new facilities and good service. There is a shuttle bus to the airport at 6 o'clock in the morning. Everything in the room is also very good. It is really good value for the price."

"Stayed here on Wed 03rd November 2020. ( second visit ) We stayed in a room with amazing views overlooking the 3 bridges. Although the room was quite small but very clean and functional, its all about those magnificent views with a wee unique private balcony to take in the magnificent scenery. ( loved it ) It was my wife's special birthday and she wanted to wake up in the Orocco Pier overlooking the bridges. Very friendly helpful staff, fabulous food. Great experience all round. Will definitely be going for a third visit to this wee gem of a hotel. Marvellous."
"We booked a night away at Orocco Pier with their date night package which included a bottle of prosecco, 4 cocktails, £30 food credit and breakfast - it was great value for what was included and our room was quiet, clean and spacious. All COVID guidelines well adhered to throughout the hotel by staff and guests and we couldn't fault the level of cleanliness in the room. Have stayed here before and would definitely stay again!"
"We booked the Lockdown Escape Package. The hotel room was nice, King Executive to the front so if you are a light sleeper you may want to book a different room. Traffic was quiet after 12 so did not disturb our sleep. The restaurant meal was nothing special and disappointing for the price. The veggie Wellington was cremated so hard it had to go back. It should never have been allowed to leave the kitchen as it was so burnt & rock hard on 1 side. The waiter was very good & apologetic & I was able to order another dish. 1 of my friends got their main refunded as they were so disappointed. Maybe the usual chef was on a night off? We were not sure what to expect at Breakfast but it was great. Recommend only for B&B."

"Great place to stay. Huge rooms and bathroom. Had a bar meal in Jocks Bar - excellent food. Can recommend the slow cooked beef pie with copious amounts of vegetables and chips and complimented by a pint! My wife had the lamb shank which was also excellent. Super buffet breakfast the following morning with plenty of choice and cooked breakfast, cereals etc. Yes, it does need some decorating but it doesn't detract from the stay"
"My house was flooded and omg did the green hotel come up trumps. They put me and my dog up for 3 nights while we found somewhere else more permanent all the staff looked after us so well after a traumatic Saturday thank you from myself and Molly and Glen you should be proud of what you are doing to this place"
"Visited the hotel yesterday. It is undergoing some refurbishment which is looking really good. We had lunch in the newly refurbished bar area. The lunch was delicious and the member of staff was lovely. The room was basic but clean. We had dinner in the bar area and it was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chef. We have been to the hotel on several occasions it this was the nicest meal ever."

"We visited for the first time recently. The restaurant was busy and considering it was midweek, would hate to see how busy it gets at weekends. The food was good but not great, it was missing a wow factor. Service was basic, it would have helped if the staff had checked that everything was okay. The food was out on the table and anything else you needed after that involved catching the eye of a passing waiter/waitress. Not ideal."
"There is a good sized car park when you arrive. The surroundings are very pleasant. The service was very good and the food did not take long to come even although the place was busy. We all agreed the food was very good. Would say that it is well worth a visit although it is a bit out of the way."
"Visited here during covid pandemic. Staff were friendly and all covid secure. Tables restricted to 2 households and masks being worn. Food was of a high quality and fast service. Quite a pleasant atmosphere too. The haggis balls looked nice. Sticky toffee pudding was lovely too"

"Stellar break and highly, highly recommended! Spent 3 nights here for my 36th Birthday with my partner. I live only 10 mins drive away but it was like stepping into another world. The building and the grounds are stunning. Everything COVID-safe to the highest standard. Took advantage of the (warm!) pool. Well situated for day trips (easy to get to Edinburgh, Linlithgow etc - we specifically visited Linlithgow Palace, West Lothian owl centre and Modern Art One Ray HarryHausen exhibition in Edinburgh). The service was out of this world. The team really went out of their way and were very upbeat and helpful. I really appreciate good service and this was probably the best I have ever had. As it was my birthday, they made it that bit extra special, which was really appreciated. The main man in charge (Andrew, I believe his name was) had a really great attitude and made you feel "at home." A big thank you to all of the staff - you all deserve only good things! Room was spotless and very warm and comfy. Same for the bed. Very quiet and a very restful sleep. The interior was very well done up and just oozed class. The food was some of the best I've ever had and that's no exaggeration!! Breakfast was incredible and set you up for the day (cereals, yoghurts, pastries, full cooked breakfast etc). Dinner was to die for. I honestly couldn't believe how tasty it was - out of this world good. I missed the "special" one night and they made it especially for me on my birthday the following day - how about that for service! Oh and their was also a gluten-free menu for my partner, which was awesome. I don't often drink but bar service was great and had a few amarettos (I think that was the name!). I wonder if the chef does a chocolate souffle as my step-daughter has always wanted to try one! I rarely write reviews but this stay has warranted it... and then some! Thanks for a great stay and Merry Christmas when it comes!"
"My wife and I went along yesterday for afternoon tea, having driven from just outside glasgow in horrendous rain. I said to my partner" hope the drive is worth it" On arrival we were greeted by Lindsey,,warm attentive helpfull mature beyond her young age,,We was shown to our table in a slightly dingy dull room that,s more rendisent of the time of Dick Turpin.I asked Lindsey would it be poss we can move to the front of the house more familiar and welcoming part of the hotel,,Without a second breath Lindsey was more than accomodating,,nothing is too much for this Gal.....I must also add the ACTUAL afternoon tea was quite simply "SUPERB"...freshly made sannys and 10 out of 10 for the home baked cakes and scones,,gold star to the junior sous chef!!!,,,Lindsey did promise us the big lovely front view table in the lounge when we return,,in the words of Mr,Schwarchaneegar,,,"I,L BE BAACK""
"Booked a 3 night family stay to enjoy some away from work at home mode to recharge the batteries. We booked the deal which was fantastic which includes dinner bed and breakfast. It has to be said the hotel and staff excelled expectations in the New normal of covid 19 and social distancing. Throughout during breakfast and meals everything was done to follow the guidance and sanitizer stations throughout the hotel. The real gem was the Scottish hospitality led by Andrew and the team who made a special stay as memorable. Hope to return again as everywhere within easy reach and within short car journeys to Edinburgh Castle Linlithgow Palace Stirling Castle the Kelpies Loch Lomond boat trip and Forth bridges and River cruise as well as doing part of the Fife coastal drive. Despite a busy trip still managed to get to use the swimming pool. The evening meals were certainly worth looking forward to and the staff were very attentive. "

"I was doing a course at fife college, so booked into the holiday inn express next door....guess what, wrong college campus !!!...I spoke to the receptionist who said the actual campus I needed was a 30 minute drive away.....guess what, no hire car !!!! Don't worry she said, I'll phone a taxi firm that we use and see if we can help you. She negotiated over £50 off of the bill, including the trip back to the airport.....fabulous.... The hotel was perfect for me. It was as clean as a sparkly sheep (ref the Andrex ad). The bed was sooooo comfortable, I had trouble dragging my lardy ar#$e out of it to eat the cracking buffet breakfast.....love a sausage..... The restaurant menu though small was very good, and very reasonably priced. As a lone woman traveller, I felt very safe and secure there. The staff are fab, and I would highly recommend this hotel."
"NOT Tunbridge wells, but elsewhere....THIS proves that not all parts of a group of hotels are the same.....coming from 1 hotel with plenty of breakfast options to another (part of the same group) with 50% of the breakfast options to the 1st one - BUT: costing MUCH MORE MONEY was quite a disappointment and, for those of us on a very low income, a major major waste of money. I do not blame the excellent staff but those who are in overall charge of the business which has to make money - without concern for the client, even those with "an account"!.....WE had prepared by bringing with us our own breakfast and it is just as well....but: IF YOU are in town - A) bring your own breakfast and B) use to nearby Travelodge - which is much cheaper and the staff are just as good as in this place....with apologies to the team who work at the HIE in Dunfermline, but it was alot of money to us and wasnt good value"
"Our holidays were cancelled due to Corona Virus but as we had booked a pre flight hotel we decided just to have a day in Dunferline and was pleasantly surprised at this hotel , Foyer spotless, rooms spotless and meal at night was excellent and good value for money,. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and manager was happy to pass time of day with guests and bus stop right outside hotel will be back"

"Myself and my partner got a last minute Groupon deal to get away after a hectic Christmas and New Year. Location - Lovely location and would have explored more if the weather had been better. Crossford is a sweet place and surrounding area is also lovely. Room - Disappointed. We had a plug in heater that was difficult to use to get a good temperature as it was dry and roasting when turned on and then grew cold quickly when turned off. The furniture was a bit dated and it all felt a bit grubby unfortunately. The bathroom was alright although rather unpleasantly when using the bath noticed buildup of dirt around the taps and shower buttons. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable though and there was a really great selection of tea/coffee and super nice biscuits. (we would have brought this up had it not been a discount deal) Food - The food was good standard and the haggis was particularly nice! No fish left on first night and as pescatarian had limited other options on the menu other than mac and cheese which was lovely. When I managed to get some fish it was really soggy which was a shame. Breakfast cold selection was great yoghurts, fruit juices, overnight oats and the hot options very varied and really liked being able to build your own breakfast. Veggie sausages 0/10. Service - Reception check in was incredibly quick only asked for my name then given room key. Service in resturaunt - Breakfast staff on the ball and very nice and friendly. Evening service unfortnately shocking on both evenings. The first night we waited nearly an hour to have our food served and watched and heard apologies at various other tables that had been waiting for far longer for food and drinks. We asked for our bill at 9.30, and I asked the waitress whether we had to book a table for breakfast or just walk in, and whether we had to pay for additional costs not included in our deal now or at the end of our stay. She didn't know the answer to these questions so went away to find out. She came back about 5 minutes later asking if we were DBB (at the time confusing as not used to terminology) and when we asked what this was she said as we didn't know her manager would be over to speak to us. We then waitied as the waitress as she served other tables around us, and no sign of manager. After twenty minutes of not being able to get anyones attention, we had to go up to the manager ourselves and he apologised for keeping us waiting, explaining he had been very busy. We could actually see him the entire time and he had more than enough time to pop over to our table. He actually blamed staff when I complained about how difficult it had been to just pay our bill. The second night we hoped the service would be better. My partner ordered soup, noted as served with focaccia. No focaccia arrived and she asked for some bread. The waitress said she would go and find out if she could have some bread and then simply never returned. However everything "
"This hotel was just what we needed after an eight hour car journey. I have described it as a 'hidden gem' because despite entering the post code into my satnav we were directed to a very pleasant hillside about 1/2 miles from the hotel. However once we arrived the welcoming could not have been better. everything worked and the cleanliness was exceptional. The bed was very comfy and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Overall a memorable experience."
"Having stayed here before for a birthday celebration we had no hesitation in booking again for my wife's birthday. We received excellent service from all the staff we had contact with especially in the bar and dining area. Food was top quality and the little tweaks we asked for in the evening and at breakfast were happily met. The leisure facilities are superb and worth a visit. We will definitely be staying at keavil house again."

"We planned our Scotland trip, last minute, (12 hours before leaving). The hotel was a great price with the pub right next door for breakfast. We had a big room with bath and shower, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud and of the pillows, best hotel pillows I've lay my head on. To my amazement, the people next to us were having a party but as soon as the door closed and we were in the room, you couldn't hear a thing from any neighbouring rooms or outside for that matter, amazingly sound proofed. Free parking, free WiFi and lots to do where hotel is, bingo, bowling, gym and many restaurants. We paid for late check out which was an added bonus to have a little time after breakfast to pack and get ready for long journey home. Thanks for a lovely stay and we will be back in the new year."
"So me and a couple of colleagues stayed here for a week and overall was quite happy with everything. Breakfast was really nice and large variety , dinner there was decent but what the menu didn’t tell you is half of it revolves around the Carvery and if that’s shut you then it limits your options. The bed was really good and the rooms were very quite so sleeping wasn’t an issue, only thing I have to comment on in regards of the room was the room service waking me up at 8:30 on my day off after doing 12 hour shifts for a week which wasn’t Pleasant. That aside I’d come back and use it again. "
"We came here after a long flight from Alicante and we arrived at around 23:00. We were carrying quite a few bags and when we came into the hotel reception we were greeted by a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I read a few other reviews saying that the fire alarm went off, so I'm guessing it went off due to someone smoking in the reception area. We were also greeted by a small sign telling us that the reception had been permanently moved to the bar next door. How annoying! That meant we had to walk back out of the reception and go over to the bar next door in the cold and the dark. The room was nice and clean and they had put in an extra single bed for us which was nice. In the morning, we went over to the bar next door for continental breakfast and a cooked breakfast. It was nice, but the pancakes weren't freshly made to order, probably just packet pancakes put in the microwave. The full English breakfast wasn't the best. The bacon was hard and very very salty. They only gave us a cup of tea instead of a pot of tea, which wasn't great. I would rate it 3 stars but the cigarette smoke smell in the entrance room wasn't nice."
