"I travel often for work and of all the hotel chains, I try to stay at a Marriott-branded hotel. I chose this Sheraton because I was impressed with past stays at other Sheratons. Comparatively speaking, this one was one of the nicer ones and was much quieter (no conferences going on during my stay). I was really impressed with the rooms... spacious, very nice layout. One thing I didn't like about the room was that the shower stall didn't have a door. It was just a pane of glass. Everytime you walked in, water would splash all over the floor and you'd have to use a towel to clean it up. Not only that, you have to crank up the heat because you'd get a draft of cold air while you were showering. It's not particular to my room because my coworker's room had the same design. The reason I'm dropping my rating (which would have been a 5) is because the one time I needed housekeeping, I come back to find selective things in my room taken. I had a 8-pack of Cokes in the fridge, with an apple, cookies on the desk, shampoo, cologne, hair product on the counter (next to my toiletry bag). When I came back that evening, those things listed above were thrown away, yet all my other stuff was left intact (contact solution, toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, clothes, suitcase, etc). I complained to the front desk upon checkout and they supposedly gave me some Marriott Bonvoy points but still... it's a major inconvenience to find all your stuff taken. So if you plan on staying here, hide your stuff or put it in your car. The housekeeping will take it."
"Okay enough property, This trip was nights 77, 78 & 79 for this Convoy Titanium member. On the plus side - good location, clean rooms, decent lounge (not always a given in US properties), and the paid breakfast is pretty good. On the downside: no recognition of my status at registration, although I asked for breakfast as my amenity that didn't happen, my online check-in didn't take, and when they went ahead and made me keys for my room those keys didn't work. Frustrating at the end of a very long travel day. Although the bathroom was clean, there is very low water pressure, and the temperature mixing knob on my shower was not too effective. This resulted in a shower that was either far too hot or too cold to enjoy even if there were enough water pressure to be able to enjoy it in the first place. Housekeeping had one or two little things each day that they missed - no sugar for the coffee one day, no stirrers the next, no refreshing of the soap in the bathroom. I know that those are niggles, but I have generally been quite spoiled in my travel experiences, and hope for more."
"My workplace held a week long event here, where the attendees stayed at the hotel and much of the conference rooms were utilized for break out groups and meals. My room was fine, nicely update and spacious. The problem I had was that I had no hot water in the shower for my whole stay, even after I told the front desk about it. They seemed concerned but the next day was not any better. During a meal with other attendees, they shared in my sentiment. My room was on the back side of the hotel, it sounded like I was on the highway, even while wearing earplugs to bed. Lastly, the meeting rooms were just falling apart. Chairs were dirty and broken. Dirty and broken mirrors in a bunch of places. Finally, the wait staff was inappropriate to each other. They snipped at each other when they messed up and corrected each other in front of guests. I would not suggest staying here. The facade is beautiful and the lobby is chic, but that’s where the nice ends. "
