"The room is very hygienic, the surrounding environment is also good, that is, the insects are a little more. After all, at the seaside, you can understand that the hotel service is particularly good. The hotel is located on the edge of the bay. The scenery is very good. The water temperature of the private pool is suitable, except for the insects. Really great, great scenery"

"Me and my girlfriend are vegans and decided to stay here because the hotel is All inclusive. At first the available options were limited but after talking with the staff we were amazed! The chef prepared special lunch and dinner everyday!!! The food quality is excellent and everyone was really nice to us. They made sure we were not hungry and took our preferences into account. The manager was so nice and made sure we weren’t missing anything! The chef was eager to prepare special food for us and made a quick stop at every meal at our table to make sure everything was ok with our food. The food was DELICIOUS. From the starters to the desserts. We’ve stayed at other All Inclusives before and this is (by far) the best treatment we have gotten. Shout out to all vegans and vegetarians out there.. this is the place we’ve been looking for!"
"I want to first say that the hotel is beautiful, luxurious and pristine. The food and facilities were top notch, but the service was the best part of this trip. Jorge Lagunas went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable and even in his off time was helping to make sure we had everything we need, someone promote this guy. Also Leonardo and Javier in the Marche restaurant couldn't do enough to make sure we were taken care of. Thanks to everyone at this resort that made our trip comfortable and fun during a stressful time."
"Great service!! Had the best time Javier Moreno was an excellent pool server who went above and beyond!! Very attentive and considerate. We visited the other resort, affiliated Princess it was ok. Over crowded, however the service at Mundo imperial was extremely excellent. The restaurant Carnivore was exceptional!! Our server there Jorge was also the best!! Will definitely highly recommend)!!"

"Hi we are currently staying at this resort Pierre Mundo Imperial March 4 to 11, 2020 so its day 3 of our 7 days here Fri March 6, 2010 at the Imperial, things we have noticed as we are Sunwing guests meaning all inclusive so the current bar staff at beach / pools just ignore you if you have an Orange Sunwing armband around your wrist because I guess they think you don’t tip ( we Canadians do tip well for good service ) I can only assume as we have yet to asked if we need anything to this point of day 3 they will ask and serve everyone around you as they have other coloured armbands that pay for all individual items such as drinks snd food etc we have asked other Sunwing guests and they are treated the sane way ignored they must put up there arm and stare at the servers to get services as this resort is very quiet and not many people around ( more servers than quest at times ) another odd things is its says you get a coffee maker in your room but they don’t say anything about you only get 2 complimentary coffee pods and then you must Pay for extra coffee ( over $2. US per pod ) I like my morning coffee’s in my room so I have to pay but the good thing is its a nice quiet resort with nice pools the food is great and plentiful and the restaurant staff are wonderful too so if Pierre Mundo Imperial Management and Sunwing Management can correct the pool / beach staff ignoring issues you will have happier customers and hopefully returning customers at this challenging time we are all going through. Visiting from Stayner Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 PS: I don't need apologies from Management I need action for your current & future customers"
"All the 1-star reviews got me a bit concerned before my stay at the resort. Also I was particularly worried from reading about how Acapulco is one of the most dangerous places for tourists, but the complete opposite from what the news media was portraying Acapulco. It’s safe to go about provided you stay in the Tourist zone. The locals were friendly to us. The fact that people are still scare of visiting the place is a bonus because the pools were nice and clean, and you don’t need to fight for your spots at the beach like other popular resorts. I had amazing time there with my family at Palacio, Princess and Pierre Mundo Imperial. The food was delicious, and staffs were friendly with smiles on their faces in all 3 locations. We love their seafood there. None of us got tummy aches from eating the food like some of the bad reviews were saying. Although some staffs couldn’t speak English, we managed to communicate just fine. "
"This is one of those resorts that’s at least a mile away from any outside civilization. Therefore if you want to go to a supermarket or grocery store to avoid paying sky-high prices for a bottle of water, you cannot. The resort itself was a decent one. Security was very goods outside and inside. The 2 pools were really nice. The rooms were furnished decently and the a/c worked fine. They charged a mandatory fee of about 200 pesos / day for such things as bell boys etc which I never liked. It’s like a resort fee. The other thing is that they give you 2 bottles of water / day. If you want more it’ll cost you 40 pesos for each additional one. That’s just nickel and diming! Its Cheap and bad policy! Breakfast buffet is very good. Selection is great and the juices are varied. They even have a person who’ll create a smoothie for you! Overall, 4 stars is deserved as the gym is just so-so and they also use bedsheets from yesteryear. That is, they use the slightly rough Cotten ones rather than the super soft micro fiber that most chains use now. My slightly sunburn body was not happy with the rough sheets. Howard S."

"Great, historic complex with direct access to the beach. Unfortunately, the service does not meet my expectations of a 5-star hotel. Drinks at the bar in particular are expensive and unimaginative. "

"I booked Hotel baXar with high hopes of enjoying a bit of luxury. I was sadly very disappointed to find that the hotel is a far cry from their 4* star rating. It makes me wonder who determines these ratings and why there isn’t a hotel organization out there to check out if this rating is still valid?? We arrived early which the hotel manager, Christopher, graciously permitted. We checked in around 12 noon. We were shown to our room which was right by the street with a view to their construction from our window. I told them this wasn’t okay for us, as we had booked well in advance. The assistant manager kindly showed us another room which was poolside and steps from the restaurant which was nice. When we checked the safe, it was broken and not usable. We were offered to put our valuables in the hotel’s safe or to upgrade to a nicer room on the 2nd floor, but told that we’d have to pay more. I was surprised to hear this considering that it’s low season here and any real 4* hotel would be more generous in offering a free upgrade especially since our room had a broken safe. What happened to the excellent service that is afforded by most 4 and 5* star hotels? Perhaps if we had been offered a free upgrade I would not be writing this review? The bed is nice and I like the architecture at baXar, but unfortunately everything else is quite dated and in much need of maintenance and renovation. They are in the middle of renovations as I write this review, so there’s lots of hammering going on. The pool has mold/mildew in between the cracks of the tiles which indicates that either the hotel seldom cleans the pool or whoever maintains it doesn’t know the right ph balance. Normally if a pool is chlorinated properly there would never be any mold/mildew on the pool tiles. The bathroom mirror is oxidized and very old. The food is okay and in my opinion over priced. Three chicken tacos cost 118 pesos. Normally tacos are around 50 or 60 pesos in most restaurants. A soft drink is $2. Now if this was truly at the standard of a 4* resort, of course I wouldn’t mind paying these prices, but baXar falls well short of being 4 stars. I can imagine that 10 years ago this resort must have been lovely. The photos on their website don’t accurately represent the reality of this resort today. Sorry folks, but if you’re seeking a 4* hotel this isn’t going to meet your expectations. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend staying at baXar."
"Is a place to rest, no tv, but you can forget everything bad. The meal is good, a bit expensive, good pool also and a very good place to relax, the owners are nice people, the attention, atmosphere, I don’t recommend get into the beach, could be dangerous, but, sunset there is just breathtaking. "
"This place is located on the beach and the bar is located on a rustic veranda with low key furnishings. We came to watch the sunset and have a few drinks. I was thinking I would order a margarita because it's a rather big drink generally and I would then only need one drink. Sadly the baxar margarita was served in short highball glass, if I am paying for a premium drink why is it served so plainly. According to my friend who lives in Aca, this place charges way too much for drinks considering the level of locale. We did not order any food. "

"The hotel belongs to the resort. The rooms are located on the entire mountain. There are separate buildings on the upper and lower floors. Each one is from an open-air small swimming pool. The hotel has its own seaside bath, which is free for residents only, and there is a regular shuttle bus to the bath. Hotel health and environment."
"The view is the best of the hotel, to go to places of interest the only option is the taxis in front of it since the cars go by very fast"

"We arrived in Acapulco at the Camino Real Diamante on March 30th 2019 this year. Our stay was nothing but spectacular all the Hotel Staff were very friendly even the ones who could not speak our English Language made it a point to try tobe nothing more than helpfull. Much to our surpise a free breakfast was included every day as well as 1/2 drink prices for happy hour between 12-1pm and then a free voucher every day for as many drinks as you can drink between 6 and 7pm!!! One gentleman in particular who had a desk in the lobby are to sell tours was extremely helpfull and was very good company for our entire stay and helped us a lot when there was some interpreting needed with the staff his name is Aristeo Palma Munoz or TEO for short. THe manager at the from desk as well as all the support staff were extremely nice. and of course all the waiters and waitresses and housekeeping staff. "Where do I begin. I’m a member of circulo Real then loyalty programme of this particular hotel chain which has three categories. Real Inn, Camino Real and Quinta Real. Being the first one the lowest business category and ascending respectively. I made my reservation and added an extra night. My keys stopped working. So I had to go back to the lobby to te same person that did my check in from whom I didn’t even receive an apology. Anyway. The room is nice but had very little furniture and the pictures are tiny so it makes you feel it is immense. The balcony is alright though the table top seems a bit flimsy. It has a wonderful beach with little waves so it’s great for children and adults who lack much swimming skills. The beach bar staff is amazing and the lady huerta restaurant staff is amazing aswell. The guy to helps you find an umbrella and sunbed Margarito is also amazing. Do ask him to find you one he will be more than happy to help you. The cupboard doors in the room need maintenance as do the AC and the fam as they make a noise and don’t cool well respectively. I have ordered room service for breakfast and have had to battle myself to get the trays taken away either from the hallway or from inside the room. Only yesterday it took the one comment an reception an two calls to get that done. My work takes me places so I believe hotels should fort focus on causing you the least discomfort and then provide an excellent service to keep you coming back. Clearly someone at this hotel missed that memo. I understand it is xmas time and headed to new year but that is no excuse as the prices are hiked during this season. The hotel itself is in a wonderful location so I would still recommend it. Nevertheless if you are not in the mood for lack of detail stay elsewhere. I have only been able to put up wit it because it would be hard to find a new hotel and also because I have been loyal to the chain for a long time. "
"The hotel is kind of old, and needs to be re built, or at least, re modernized ! The property is nice. The food is fine. The place is safe. I was here many years ago, and now I came back with my wife, and found that the property has gone old."
