Beautiful resort with top class service. The staff are very helpful and courteous- had silver service from them from the time we drove in. Right from the valet, to the breakfast restaurant, Eddy’s bar and the night service- everything is absolutely fab. Staying at Anantara was a grand and luxurious experience for us. We had one of the suites and it included the spa facilities as well. Our room was facing the green which was a sheer delight to wake up to every morning. We used their saunas, steam baths and the gym almost everyday of our week long stay. They have a shuttle to the racquet club which is a lot of fun if you have a teenager as we did. Their golf course and range is really nice. We also ordered room service on one of the days and the spread of menu and the service is top class. They make you feel like royalty. The breakfast has a wide spread and the staff are really waiting on you hands on. They also have champagne and sweet treats available in their lobby all day long. As we there just before Christmas week, the hotel was beautifully decorated with a giant tree and fire burning in the fire places all day long. I’ll highly recommend Anantara in Marbella.

Great, peaceful and beautiful hotel with great service and fantastic facilities. Restaurant was a bit pricey for the quality , but there are a plethora of restaurants in the area available. Staff was great and very attentive

The biggest defect is not being able to smoke anywhere in the facility, and the food and cocktails are not up to the level of a hotel like this, otherwise to disconnect with the pool and the high-quality service and room

The staff's friendlyness is superb. 10/10 , though as always there is some other foreigner who loses the papers and such should reimburse it. Not everything is permitted by a satisfied client ....

The hotel is badged as a 4 * but is probably nearer a 3 *, the staff are pleasant but the hotel itself is very tired. The pool tiles are coming off in large quantities, the poolside showers aren't fully working and the indoor pool and roof is in a very poor condition. The hotel itself shows signs of its former standards but that has lapsed, the food is a reasonable quality but there is a buffet only and is quite limited. The rooms are a good size and the cleaning staff are fantastic, the fixtures are quite tired although the bed was comfortable with very clean sheets, pillows etc. There is a very, VERY, prominent French company that organises activities around the hotel who play loud and (personal opinion) terrible dance music that is annoying every day. We repeatedly had to ask it to be turned down as they leave a large portable speaker poolside playing inappropriately loud and hard dance-music when they're not actually doing activities. It's location (if your room is mountain view) is good with a quiet and interesting view, it's a 15 minute, €18 taxi into Puerto Banus and there are nice restaurants a few minutes walk away but make sure that you've pre-bought a nightcap if you want one as we learned when returning one night just after 12 that we can't have any room service and all bars are closed. If Golf is your thing then be aware that whilst it's prominent on the website there is actually no golf course or any affiliation with any golf course available to the hotel. The one the hotel used to own is now privately owned and charges full non-member price which with a buggy and club hire is around €120 / person. In closing, whilst we enjoyed the holiday, the hotel is definitely in need of some TLC

First of all, we booked two rooms before we even arrived in Spain, and we made sure to inform the staff, receptionists that we will probably arrive at the hotel around 12:00. When we arrived around 12 o'clock, we went inside and asked if we could maybe occupy our room earlier. Of course they said no, and added, that the rooms were being cleaned, and they will be ready at 2 o'clock. So we had to wait for 2 hours, when they finally let us pay. When we wanted to pay with cash they told us that we could only use credit cards, which they most certainly did not include on any website. After we managed to pay, we entered our rooms and looked around. In our bathroom there was tons of hair everywhere, on the floor, wall, toilet seat and even in our bathtub. We also didn't even have a shower curtain! Our bed was thankfully comfortable. However, the other room's bed had huge springs in it, which when you lay down on, it actually hurts your body parts, so our parents hardly even got any sleep. After walking around and unpacking in our room, I took of my socks getting ready for sleep, and realised that the bottom of it was almost completely black. If you ask me, the maids weren't cleaning, that's for sure. There wasn't a big variety of food at breakfast, moreover the eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. were all cold. Absolutely disgusting. At least they finally gave us a shower curtain. After a few days, I realised that they weren't even cleaning our room! Our towels, bed sheets, and blankets, were all the same we used for several days. Our whole room remained dirty, full of long hair strands, which we (two guys) don't even have. Even the swimming pool was dirty. After a week we finally left. Never coming back again! Doesn't even deserve 1 star! And make sure to avoid it all costs!!

Loved this hotel. The price is amazing for this quality. The rooms are huge. The hotel is huge. Beachfront. Great spa. We spent an afternoon there. Three spa pools, a lounging area, haman, hot/cold showers. So fun. Tremendous value. It’s a throwback to a grand 60’s hotel in Florida. Good includes breakfast. Good coffee. Nice boardwalk.

Reviews From Real Travelers
My partner and I returned from our holiday yesterday, after staying at H10 Estepona Palace for 4 nights. The room was a good size with a balcony and was clean, just your standard double room so no complaints there. A few things let the place down a bit, the main one being the food. We only had bed and breakfast so can’t comment on lunch/dinner, but the breakfast buffet food was always cold. My partner had some scrambled eggs from a brand new tray that a chef put out and it was cold. Baked beans were always lukewarm at best, and although there was an omelette and fried egg station, there was only ever 1 chef available so always had to wait around for ages. The other thing was that the gym didn’t open until 10am. We wanted to make the most of the facilities and get a morning workout in, only to find that it was closed and is only open between 10am and 7pm. Finally there was no ironing facilities available either in the room or to get from reception. The only thing available was borrowing a steamer for a €10 refundable deposit, but it was pretty naff. For a 4 star hotel we were expecting to be able to borrow an iron and ironing board. As we visited late September, the temperature was around mid 20s which was lovely, however the outside pools were freezing cold to the point where it was almost unbearable. Would have liked the pool to be slightly heated! Overall we would say 3 stars, staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and quiet. Next time we would probably stay a bit closer to Marbella / Puerto Banus as there is more to do around the area.

Visited here for a five night break in early October with my parents (my dad is disabled and in a wheelchair which is why we chose this hotel as it was advertised as having good disabled facilities). Positive points - friendly staff - good disabled facilities though probably could have done with more handles in the disabled bedroom - rooms good and beds comfortable Negatives - it’s pretty far out from anything, you could walk to the marina nearby but not easily accessible with a wheelchair (the dropped kerbs are very poor) - breakfast buffet is cold and unappetising with most things swimming in grease (go for omelette which is a better choice and hot) - very limited car parking and no disabled parking (we found a patch of wasteland opposite the hotel that we parked on) - if you’re not all inclusive the only dinner option in the hotel is the buffet at 25 Euros a head (and based on the breakfast experience likely to be lukewarm). It really could do with another restaurant. - no kettles or tea making facilities in the room - the beach is awful and the sunbeds are shocking. I know it’s not the hotel’s fault as it’s a public beach but I’m sure there are things that could be done to make it nicer! - drink prices, G&T in the bar was 11 Euros! In summary, this is more like a 3-star hotel and we wouldn’t visit here again.
