Top 10 La Iguana Hotels

I am sensitive to sleep and therefore need a quiet room. That is unfortunately not quite optimal in this hotel. When I complained that I didn't want to live directly on the main street, my room was exchanged, but then I got a room right next to the elevators :-(

This is a wonderful hotel in Leon! The staff welcomed us so well and spoke impeccable English too. They were so helpful and could not do enough to make us comfortable. The room was amazing. It was large, very clean and well equipped. The coffee machine was great and the hand made chocolates were a welcome addition too. The bathroom was amazingly spacious as was the walk in shower! There were plenty of towels, bath robes and slippers. I would want to come back again! There breakfast was brilliant and the pool area and gym looked great too.

Hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.. Overall room quality was good but air conditioning could have been better. Never did get the room to a cool level for overall comfort for sleeping. Regardless will be back

Rooms are clean, elegant, comfy beds, great showers & a/c, well appointed, except for one detail-- alarm clocks were so outdated they couldn’t be set to the correct time. It has good security, which is important as Leon has become quite dangerous. All the staff was very courteous & helpful. Restaurant was excellent too, with Mexican food and wings, salads, burgers, etc, all very fresh and elegant. There is a small gym with 2 treadmills + a few cardio machines, and weights. There is a laundry machine and dryer for guests. We chose the hotel for the pool, so one big problem was that for 2 of our 6 days it was closed completely. First it was closed the whole afternoon for a private kids’ party; then afterwards the pool was full of popcorn and pizza and stayed closed. Then, a few days later, it closed for a deep cleaning but they did not tell us it would be closed all day, so we waited hours until finally we were told it would open next day 9AM. At 9AM they told us it wouldn't open until 11AM. The pool itself is amazing and clean (except after that party). It is surrounded by tropical flowers that attract blue hummingbirds. In the mornings sometimes they put hot water to warm it. Would be perfect if were more available and required closures were posted with precise times. Despite this one frustration, we like the hotel and would stay again.

This hotel, the decoration is very good, the health is very clean, the service is very good, very warm, the taste of the hotel restaurant is also good, the location is very convenient, the price is very high, recommended!

My husband and I got married in León and organized together with NE hotel staff several rooms to accommodate 50 guests from abroad, as well as from different cities of Mexico. The NE team was very supportive offering their help and guidance throughout the whole process of booking and assigning the right rooms to each guest. Breakfast was delicious, as well as the tasty food from the Italian restaurant next door called Ma Come No. All friends were very satisfied with the service. It exceeded our expectations! We’ll definitely recommend it and stay there again.

I had the impression that this hotel was a bit old and never gave it a chance during many years visitng Leon. Frankly speaking I was terribly mistaken... I wish I had discover it before! Hotel is sparking clean, well kept and comfortable for a business basis stay. But the best of all is the staff. There aren't negatives from the team. They are always available and fulfilling all requests from guests with a smile. Really, all the staff are who make the difference, since the warm welcoming up to the friendly goodbye as: ”this is your home, please come back again”. Now there are no doubts that Fiesta Inn is my favortie and only option to stay in the city.
