"Very good and worth living, the hotel garden is huge and beautiful, the only inconvenience is that it is not convenient to think about water sports by the lake."
"It's a pity that I can only like 5 stars, I am willing to give it 10 stars!"

"The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to the Trevi Fountain and various squares. I have a certain single room on the roof. I also brought a rooftop. It feels very comfortable. The breakfast feels average. But you can eat outside in Rome. It is worth a trip to book this hotel. Help with luggage"

Via Gardesana 54, Lazise, Veneto, Italy
"This is my third trip to Lake Garda and Lazise is such a beautiful town. I loved my stay at Palazzo Della Scalia, service was perfect, almost anonymous but always attentive, the way it should be. The rooms are well designed with attention to detail. They have that balance between hotel and apartment that is perfect, very spacious and calming...the breakfast was varied and of full of choices and all was of high quality. I ate in the restaurant on two evenings and the food was very good on both occasions."

Via Della Madrina, 2, Garda, Veneto, Italy
"My husband and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Hotel Garden in Garda, which was our first time visiting Italy. The hotel is ideally situated close to the bus station and ferry port (only a few minutes walk) which makes travelling on days out easy and stress free. The hotel is set back from the main road through Garda, so you have the required privacy when using the pool and tennis court facilities. That said, the constant road noise can still be heard if you are sitting outside, and we found that it increased significantly on a Saturday and Sunday with what appeared to be hundreds of people riding round on motorbikes all day and evening! Once inside though, you cannot hear the road noise if you keep your doors and windows closed, so you can get a good night's sleep. We were not lucky enough to get one of the more spacious rooms at the front of the hotel with a view of the lake, but were allocated a small room at the back of the hotel above the kitchen/service area, so we were on occasions woken up very early with lots of moving/banging around, as well as deliveries and rubbish pick ups. I was, however, delighted to find that our room had a dressing table and mirror (ladies..these touches do make a difference don't they) as well as an easy to use safe and a mini fridge. However, I would have liked some tea and coffee making facilities to have been made available in our room, but there were none. They do not provide an iron and ironing board as standard, but did manage to find both for us to use. The room, as well as everywhere else in the hotel, is exceptionally clean, however, our bathroom was very compact and it was like trying to wash in a small phone box when using the wholly inadequate shower cubicle. My husband is 6' 5", so it was no easy task! The water temperature is also very hit and miss, but you soon get used to it! We opted for half board, so enjoyed a wonderful four course meal in the restaurant every evening, which suited us very well....you choose what you'd like for dinner when you go down for breakfast in the morning. The food is excellent and the serving staff are so friendly and extremely efficient. Our special thanks goes out to Michele and Pia, and all the other restaurant staff, who were always very kind and attentive and made our dining experience very enjoyable. The hotel is only a short walk from the lake, where you will find lots of restaurants and bars, as well as some lovely shops dotted along the cute little lanes leading up to the lake. We spent many an afternoon having lazy lunches by the lake, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the idyllic views. We found a fantastic bar a couple of minutes walk from the hotel called Cam & Gato, which is small, atmospheric and great fun, which we visited a few times once we'd finished our evening meal. They have live music most evenings. They have a piano in the bar, so my husband even took a turn on it one evening, and was rewarded with a free pint for his effo"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our time here ! Beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated, excellent location, in a quiet area but still close to the pretty waterfront. The hotel and staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Staff very helpful with advice on getting around and local information. The clientelle were of a mature age, ( apart from my young adult son and daughter, we were the youngest I think at 52 yrs !) which was great as there were no children at the hotel, which made it very relaxing and peaceful. The pool area was spacious, and spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel. We are all vegetarian, but this was not a problem at all, there were always options available every evening, and if we did not like what there was on, the chef would do us something else. The food was delicious every night, and served by very concientious, friendly waiters. The only thing that would have been helpful would have been, if the buffet items at the evening meal had been labelled as vegetarian, as we had to guess and sometimes got it wrong!. Early breakfast was available at 6.30 am, as we had an early departure time. We enjoyed the use of free bikes to ride around the lake. A lovely touch on departure was a gift bag containing a bottle of wine and two tea towels to celebrate the hotel's 50th anniversary. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Garden, we had a fantastic time, were sad to leave and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. I can see why so many people return ! Keep up the good work !"
"A fabulous week spent at Hotel Garden. Totally faultless, everything aspect of the holiday was amazing, room, food, pool, gardens, views, all staff, a wonderful calm quiet ambience. Very quiet with no noise from adjoining rooms. Made some lovely friends who helped to make our holiday so brilliant. Dinner in the evening was wonderful both food and service. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, just sad it’s over! Just book this fab hotel and enjoy!"

Via Peschiera, 3, Bardolino, Veneto, Italy
"The hotel arranges free transport to and from the airport on bookings of 4 days or over. This is a real bonus because the cost is normally 50 euros each way. (The taxis in this area are over-priced but luckily there is a reasonable bus service to Verona). The hotel is set in beautiful gardens, across the road from the lake. (A well-made path allows walks as far as Lazise in one direction and Garda in the other. The pretty town of Bardolino, with many shops, restaurants and a Christmas market, is a twenty-minute stroll away. The hotel also hires normal and e-bikes for cycling these paths which we did on Christmas Day to Garda). We were greeted with courtesy by Reception on arrival and quickly shown to our room. This was in the main building, with a balcony and mountain view. It and the bathroom were spacious, well-furnished, quiet and clean. The beds were comfortable. There is free tea and coffee, and a charged mini bar. We are vegetarian and the hotel provides a fantastic breakfast with many different options, including wholemeal croissants, organic cereals, and rice, soya and almond milk. (There is also salmon, ham from the bone and a bucket of sparkling rose wine for those inclined!). In the evening we had access to the mainly vegan Ayurvedic menu which had some imaginative dishes. The spa facilities were superb and included a well-equipped and spacious gym, an indoor pool, 6 thermal hydro-massage pools and three saunas. Lifts from the rooms provide direct access to the facilities and dressing gowns and slippers are provided. There are also many changing rooms and lockers. There was music in the bar almost every evening and the standard was surprisingly high. It included jazz, soul, funk, and pop and rock covers. Musicians included the excellent De Cousins, and Andrea Pimazzoli and Riccardo Dolci. Unfortunately, the entertainment was rather spoiled one night by children being allowed to run around wildly in front of the musicians. This was both distracting and disrespectful to the musicians, and annoying for the adult audience. The children in the hotel were otherwise supervised and well-behaved. The staff generally were very welcoming and helpful, particularly Natalie (Reception), Rosalina (Maitre D’) and Roberto (waiter). Rosalina and Roberto ensured our alternative menus were present on the table every night. Natalie researched and printed bus timetables for us; and when I lost my bag she arranged for the hotel shuttle to drive us to the police station and back. The driver went in and explained the situation for us! (My bag was not there but on further investigation we found it had been handed in intact at a nearby restaurant!). So impressive! The hotel is generally very good value for money, although we did find the drinks expensive. Overall, we had a fantastic Christmas holiday and I would highly recommend it."
"Stayed here on a Shearings break for the carnivals in Venice and Verona. Our room was adequate and clean and reasonable size with a balcony and a lovely if distant view from it of mountains on one side and Lake Garda on the other. Bathrobes slippers and pool towels all free to use and supplied in room. We met our chambermaid one day as she didnt realise we were in the room a bit later on our free day and she was lovely and offered to come back but we made ourselves scarce so she could get on with our room. Staff we met were all lovely and hard working and pleasant to guests. Breakfast and our included evening meals were all amazing and so beautifully presented and the salad and dessert buffets were to die for. Who ever said salads were boring? The last night there was no choice of menu and what we had wasnt that great for us but there is always the salad bar which was still as accommodating on the last night. We had 6 nights here. The thermal pools were quite empty in the afternoon of our free day and we decided to do that. All 5 pools are difference and very relaxing. Didnt have a chance to use the main swimming pool as was very busy in the evenings but it looked very large and welcoming. Would take any oppotunity to come back here any time if I could. Will not disappoint."
"I stayed at this hotel over the Christmas holidays travelling on a Shearings holiday. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. The staff were all very lovely. My room was incredibly comfortable with everything I could wish for in the way of toiletries. The food was excellent and although not what I am used to it was presented beautifully and tasted fresh and nutricious. Sadly I was so busy I did not have time to enjoy the spa treatments. I would definitely stay again."
