My wife and I spent a couple of nights in Rouen for the first time on a recent trip to France. We experienced the exceptional service when we drove up to within a block of the hotel. With some construction in the area, i wasn't sure how to navigate directly to the hotel so pulled over on an adjacent street. As I got out of our car, a gentleman from the hotel walked by and asked if we needed assistance. He said he was heading on his break and noticed us (looking a little lost). Within minutes he called for a valet and told us to just head to the lobby and they would take care of everything. From this point on, the service at this hotel was first rate. It's a beautiful historic building in the heart of old Rouen. Easy walking to all the major sites, with many restaurants and shops in the area. Beautiful courtyard as well to enjoy a drink or snack. We will definitely visit Rouen again and we will for sure stay at the Hotel de Bourgtheroulde.

We were too tired to drive from Calais to Michel after an all night international flight that had been cancelled from Chicago the night before. We took a train from London to Dover, took the Ferry, got a rental car and headed west. About Rouen, I was seeing three lanes where there was only only two (super weary). We booked this hotel through Bonvoy. There was a large repair hole in the parking lot so we couldn't pull in, we circled the block and pulled the car into a temporary spot, and i walked two blocks to the hotel and told them our dilemma. The guy working the counter, said ”No problem. I will walk with you.” He did and drove our car back to the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and took great care of us, even bringing us a special cheese and bread plate to the room after finding out it was our 40th anniversary. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I can't praise this hotel enough. Top notch. gcw

This hotel is across from the river and not that far from several attractions that are walking distance. This is the second time I've stayed in the hotel for business. The rooms are spacious especially since it's just me in the room. This last time I had a room overlooking a courtyard. The hotel was a bit crowded this time for the summer holidays. They followed covid protocols trying to space people out and using masks/gloves. I still felt things were a little too close together especially for the morning breakfast. Overall the staff was very efficient and helpful.

The hotel is very new, well decorated, simple and generous.
The location is very good, turn right when you go out and the square
There is a parking garage, but it is too narrow to drive in, and finally parked in a nearby parking lot is not expensive
The size of the room is ok, there is space to open the suitcase, and the bathroom is better decorated and updated
The front desk service attitude was much better when checking out the next day
The disadvantage is that a small piece of blood was found on a pillow, and hygiene needs to be improved.
It would be better if there is a conditioner

The breakfast is not economical, so it is better to go outside and buy it yourself. The location of the hotel is very good. When you leave the hotel, it is the morning market. The crayfish and bread crab inside are very good. It is worth buying. There are various fruits in the morning. There are many attractions around the hotel and it is worth staying.

We stayed here while checking out Rouen and the beautiful coast. This is a classic Novotel as we had hoped at a nice, quiet location in the forest. Very spacious, so lots of parking spaces and a nice outside area with tennis court, terrace and a swimming pool, some benches under the trees. This made it also an ideal venue to recreate after a day of touring the region. And when you don’t feel like going out for dinner, there is always the restaurant, which had the good quality we’ve come to expect of Novotel. We used two rooms, although the number of sleeping places would have allowed us using only one room. But when staying more than one night, it is also nice to have some part as a private living room. Staff very friendly, good breakfast, cosy bar and we were able to charge our car, which was also very convenient. All in all, really recommended, whether it’s for an overnight stay or as a base for several days.

I was under the impression that this hotel was being updated or having some works done, as my original booking had been cancelled post COVID-19 and was able to rebook it the following year with a gift voucher they offered me. Although they had accommodated my request to be given accessible rooms due to the older and younger members of my group. The lighting, was poor, there was excessive furniture in the rooms which made putting a baby cot up in the room slightly tight. The bathroom and toilet was no where near the standard we have come to expect from a Novotel. Their Tours location is far better and the Customer Service desk was more inviting and eager to help. The Rouen Sud reception desk was not busy when we arrived and we were passed from one member of staff to another without the normal welcoming way that you should greet someone in the hospitality industry. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I will not be using them again. Their only save and grace was the staff who worked in the restaurant for the breakfast service. They were helpful and a credit to the team.

The location is very good, you can walk to Rouen Cathedral, etc., and you can also walk to the Church of St. Joan of Arc, and there are many restaurants nearby, and the subway is close, so it is very convenient

Parking is inconvenient and expensive. Everything else is fine, bigger than Ibis elsewhere, but old. The elevator is too small. It is very close to the church and the downtown commercial street, one step away from shopping.

Friendly and helpful staff. We had a late checkin, but we were friendly welcomed. Also the breakfast was surprisingly good. Something for everyone’s taste. Nice proper rooms, silent and good shower/toilets Parking is 8 euros, breakfast is 8 euros. If you don’t mind to park the car at the street it can safe some money.

Despite the name, the structure is not in the centre.
Parking is also payable for the hotel's fruiters!
Breakfast is not bad, average, but it is not a absence of fruit juices, which is really incredible.
The room is large and, at least, my room was the particularity of having the water in a special room, separated from the bathroom where there was a washing and a shower.

Rouen was our last stop to break up a long journey back to Calais, we needed a convenient hotel located close to the city centre to squeeze in a bit of sightseeing. Hôtel de Québec was a great choice, the location was perfect and the hotel was clean and very comfortable, it seemed to have been very recently renovated and we took a family room for the 4 of us. We found the owners to be very polite and helpful. Although we speak French, their English is excellent! It is a bit noisy if you have to open the windows, that’s the trade-off for a city centre location. But a powerful fan was provided and that made our room cool enough. Breakfast was really nice, plenty of choice and a reasonable price. We’d definitely stay again.

Hotel very well placed very close to the sites to view, with a friendly private parking welcome, information provided about what you need to see, and where you need to eat, is better than the tourist office innocent clean, small impecable lunch (excellent coffee, as well as the winehouses) we can only advise it
