"Five points! The reception was very enthusiastic. When we checked in, we walked around the building and gave a detailed introduction and helped to book dinner and winery visits for the next day. Although unfortunately the two-Michelin-star restaurant was closed for two days, the quality of the non-two-star restaurant in the hotel is also very good, and the breakfast is also great!"

"Le Boutique Hotel Bordeaux is situated in a magnificent stone building from the 18th century right in the heart of Bordeaux center. Entirely renovated in 2011 the interior of the hotel is contemporary with designer furniture but has also retained it's beautiful 18th century features. Although right in the center the hotel is built around a private court-yard that offers calm and tranquility. Have a glass of wine in the tucked away green retreat, and when you are ready to explore some more you are just a few steps away from Bordeaux's finest shops, restaurants and monuments. Breakfast : 17 Euros per person. All rooms are equipped with Nespresso coffee machine. You can park your car at the parking close to the hotel, at the preferred rate of 10 per day instead of 19 per day."

"You read a lot about boutique hotels - their design values, the personalised service. In the case of Hotel YNDO, totally deserved. It’s a beautifully appointed hotel comprising 12 unique rooms. The finishing are first class and I liked the modern touches like a Dyson hairdryer. More impressive was the personalised service. The owner, Agnes, gave me a very warm personal welcome. She cooks many of the meals herself and even offered to take me to nearby Cap Ferret for a day trip if I wanted to go. When the Staff noticed that I hadn’t gone out for dinner, they knocked on my door to ask if they could bring a simple meal tray to my room. It felt like I was a guest in a luxury home. I can’t recommend this enough. "
"Hidden gem, off the beaten path in Bordeaux. Great quiet neighborhood - easy to walk or catch the tram. What a fantastic property!! Beautiful rooms, unbelievably friendly and helpful staff!! Loved the little dining room - exceptional breakfasts, great wine and dinner service was amazing. My wife has a number of food restrictions, which they willingly and very professionally worked around. Absolutely loved and highly recommend!"
"I can’t say anything negative about my journey at this hotel. The staff was nice and charming and I can also say that the service wes personalized to each of our needs. Quiet and tranquility are the two words that best describes this experience. We even had a special goodbye from the director on our last day. I recommend this hotel to all the people reading this review. Go for it!"

"This is probably the smallest hotel I have stayed it, but what a gem. It was a residence then a consulate and now a cute hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful (and provided a great dinner recommendation!). The room is good sized (we were in one of the smaller rooms) with plenty of closet space. The sink while cool looking, left not much counter space (if you have two people). The water pressure and temp in the shower was great. Water tends to splash onto the floor/bath mat but not a big deal. I liked the Clarins toiletries (though the bottles are tiny and barely hold enough for two people to use once). The bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice and thick. 👍👍 If street noise bothers you this may be an issue. It didn’t bother me but you can hear the tram and people from time to time. Love the lights on beside the bed. Quite cool. The breakfast (not included) was so tasty!! I loved the pear nectar and the fruit salad was so good! The cheese omelet was perfect. And the garden area is so charming. We didn’t have the weather to enjoy it but very pretty view while eating breakfast. The hotel is close to a tram stop, a pretty park, and many cute shops and restaurants. Approximately 30 min car ride to the airport. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. "
"we took 2 rooms out of the nine they have , it used to be the american consulate unbordeaux , rooms are large bathroom floor is in wood not practical, , scare to slip even if you dont they thing they are smart to put night light - on bed side that you have to hit at the botton to light it or unlight ot ,once lying in bed NOT pratical at all ..... breakfast can be taken in a small garden NO buffet type ( 2 option , which you dont really understand therefore you are practically obligated to choose the more expensive ) , but they forgot the fromage blanc one morning so they went out to buy it ,15 minutes wait night parking in front is almost impossible , valet parking is a must also the trottoir ( pavement ) along the hotel and the street is a bicycle path , one feet away of the hotel , not at 2.50m away ( the city could have install it à bit further ) therefore you MUST once on the door step - before putting your foot on the pavement look both side otherwise bang in a bicycle at night nobody in the street , but very safe"
"I cannot speak highly enough of the warm, sincere welcome we received from Natalie upon our arrival at the Hotel des Quinconces. Natalie and the team quickly made us feel completely at home in this beautiful, spotlessly clean property. The team's professionalism was of the highest standard whist maintaining that warm, friendly and reassurance that we were in the safest of hands and environment in these challenging times of 2020. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean and everyone could not do enough to make our stay the most comfortable, anyone could experience. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. It was a wonderful experience.... Thank you...🙏💕✨✨✨✨✨"

4 Rue Elisee Reclus, Bordeaux, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France
"This was our first trip to Bordeaux, we have a 5 year old daughter and also took our pet. We wanted something close to the key tourist sights, town and staying in a quality place. Our stay at Hotel Cardinal was lovely. We didn't realise how central it was to town and everything was within walking distance. Public transport was also super close - in fact we caught the tram to and from the station (way easier than even getting an UBER). On arrival we had some gifts for our 5 year old which was a great start and came in handy to keep her occupied. We did have trouble with our aircon and they moved us immediately to another room - no trouble. The service was outstanding, nothing was too much. Breakfast was set up on our table in our room and was lovely - great quality, clarins products, fresh towels. The room menu had an extensive wine list which was great. I would also say that this is really a boutique hotel or apartment hotel. Great quality fittings and rooms but no common areas.. so just something to keep in mind. We would definitely stay again."
"The hotel is a little gem. Even with some of the drawbacks it deserves the 5 stars. The rooms are very nicely decorated and have a nice style. The quality of everything is on a high standard. The only drawback to the room (Palais Rohan) if you are tall you can hit the ceiling with your head. Also I'm not a big fan of having a shower in the middle of the room, that area I prefer to have closed. The breakfast is very nice but has to be ordered the evening up front and will be served in the room what is a nice touch. The hotel offers great quality wines and little attentions that make your stay that extra bit special."

"A retro-style luxury hotel in the middle of the city, in the center of the city center, the opera house is outside the window, there are commercial areas around, there are many restaurants nearby, the service is good, the environment is clean and tidy, it is recommended!"
"Hotel location is very good, service is also very good, the room decoration is very French, the overall feeling is very good!"
"The breakfast was of good quality. The room is facing too dark. There is only one small window and it is facing north."

"The hotel has excellent service! (due to covid-19 the wine-cellar could not deliver the wines to the hotel, called the hotel who sent staff to pick it up instead so we did not have to carry the wine around) - Truly excellent service! Sweet touches with calling beforehand to enquire if there are any special needs, sweet welcome in the room etc. Great facilities, amazing garden with a brilliant pool you don't want to leave. Room was spacious and cool with a little balcony.(a small thing and depending on taste: Not a fan of not having closed bathroom, with shower in the room and little privacy for being "in the bathroom".) To conclude, we wished we had stayed longer!"
"We were super fortunate to have discovered this oasis of luxury and delightful customer experience. Beautiful boutique hotel, with contemporary tastefully furnished rooms and an uber cool pool. Perhaps the most amazing part of our stay was the fantastic hospitality of the staff. After check in over the six days we were here not once were we asked for our room number (or rather name) and didn’t have to sign for anything. They just knew who we were. Breakfast was elegant and the omelets delightfully French. Perhaps they could improve their room service menu which would then eliminate all reasons to step outside the hotel."
"Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst on a road trip around France and would definitely stay again. Location is awesome, service is great and can't think of anything they could possibly do to improve. Would give it 5* any day of the week."

23 Allées de Tourny, Bordeaux, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France
"The Hotel de Seze is an outstanding choice for visiting Bordeaux. Location: The hotel is in the city center, about a fifteen minute taxi ride from the main train station and an easy walk to the main shopping and sightseeing areas; there are multiple cafes and restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Rooms: The Seze is a boutique hotel with around 50 rooms, and appears to have been updated fairly recently. We booked a basic room, which was comfortable, but extremely small and overlooking an interior courtyard. As we were adjacent to an elevator, we asked to change rooms, and the staff kindly upgraded us to the next room category, which offered more space. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom fixture and amenities were excellent. One quirk: As is typical in France, the bathroom and toilet are separate. The toilet did not have its own sink, however, so you have to traipse across the room to wash your hands in the bathroom. Amenities: WiFi is free, and worked quite well. We didn't use the spa or any of the other facilities. We did have breakfast, which includes two options: coffee, juice, and pastry for 10 euros, or a buffet including fruit, cereal, pastry, eggs, and cold cuts for 20 euros - both a reasonable deal and of good quality compared with what you'd get at most cafes. Service: Staff members were genuinely helpful and accommodating. Check-in was fast and pleasant, and the woman at the front desk volunteered a map and highlighted interesting areas of the city to visit. Staff did their best to help when we asked for late check-out on our departure. Overall, the Hotel de Seze is a great boutique property, and was the perfect base for our time in Bordeaux."
"We absolutely loved Bordeaux and the hotel was in a perfect location to explore! Our room was really big and immaculate and the staff were really lovely. We didnt eat at the hotel but the restaurant and food looked lovely. I was I'll during my stay and the staff were very helpful in finding am English speaking doctor. We will definitely return to Bordeaux and the hotel de seze! "
"Your property as per below is very good. Making a reservation was very prompt. However, upon check out, your staff was totally lost and could not figure out what had been paid as we extended twice. The lady even thought we had three rooms at some point. But nevermind small matter. Also, Your TV hang and the sound picture is distorted. That was for both of our rooms. I believe you know the issue but you have to attend to it urgently. Sometimes, one likes to watch news or others. otherwise it was a very good stay. "
