"My friends and I booked a short ski break based on reviews and the hotel didn’t disappoint on overall looks and is in a good location 5 mins walk to one lift , there is also a free shuttle bus in the morning 8.30 to 9.30 which is very handy The start of our stay was disappointing though as we arrived at lunchtime and although check in was 4pm , most hotels try and get a at least one room early for you ,however the staff seemed hell bent on not letting us in before and two rooms got their keys dead on 4pm and they kept quoting terms and conditions ! This meant we couldn’t unpack to ski and two of us has to dash to our spa treatment Overall the breakfast was good with a lot of variety , but the hot option often wasn’t “hot” . I think the hot plate that it was on needs replacing for one that works better The bar service was slow too and we only bothered to have one drink there as as the wait was too long , the bar man did apologise one night as we cancelled and went to bed after a 30 minute wait. They are missing out on sales here Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful and on the last night we tried to book a taxi as it was pouring down but they took us in the mini bus as it was so bad The ski hire shop is very handy on site and staff friendly but the system is chaotic, resulting in me getting the wrong skis one day The spa is small but the treatments were very good The rooms are small but nice, with comfy beds , but could do with a few more hooks and storage and they are also very hot ! We couldn’t seem to get the aircon to cool them down As we had an early check out, they got our breakfast on early for us which was great Overall we had a good stay it just needs some tweaks and then would be great "
"We stayed at the St-Alban for a two-night Christmas break. One of La Clusaz' newest boutique hotels, it is ideally situated, perched above the main road, with a sun-drenched south-facing view of the Bossonet and Beauregard pistes and a short walk down to the village centre. The modern design is rendered cosy and timeless through an abundance of BOOKS wherever you look! Arrivals are welcomed with a home-coming warmth and functionally everything well-conceived for comfort and convenience. Attributes include basement parking, on-site ski locker service (managed by the excellent Woodcore, La Clusaz' original ski shop), new age styled spa and a bar/lounge with games that converts into a breakfast room with an excellent buffet. Upstairs, our en-suite bathroom, quality of bedding and WiFi signal were faultless and the mesmerising view distracted us completely from the multi-channel TV! We now live half an hour away from La Clusaz but next time we decide to stay over instead of commuting daily, we will unhesitatingly return to the St-Alban."
"We have just returned from a week's ski holiday. Family with two children aged 12 and 8 years old. We stayed in the family room with cubby bunk beds for the children which worked well . A little on the tight side for storage but over all was fine. Even though we hired our ski gear from outside of the hotel they store it for you in the ski shop. This was an excellent service and much needed as there isn't a boot room as such. The hotel staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help . The reception staff in particular were excellent. We managed to miss the free shuttle service to the ski lift every morning but the staff were more than happy to give us a ride down. They found table's for supper every evening at last minute notice. Which given that this is possibly the busiest week of the year was no easy feat! The location is great for the village and restaurants, lot's of choice within walking distance . Be aware if you are with little ones the walk back with ski gear is a little tough . The spa was nice enough and did the job after a long day on the slopes ,the sauna and ice room were a decent size for this size hotel. I had seen that some guests were not happy with breakfast but there was more than enough choice for us and the complimentary afternoon tea and cakes were a lovely touch. Again lot's of choice and plenty of it served. Over all a success !"

"I had read some of the less complimentary reviews of this hotel, but it is one of the few in Le Grand Bornand that has a lift and is close to the centre of the village. As I am not as mobile as I was we opted to stay there. The hotel also offered a pool and spa and parking, which is not easy in Le Grand Bornand. We stayed for three nights and the hotel and facilities exceeded my expectations. Our room, which was assessed by lift from the ground floor, was not large, but comfortable, with a good shower room. The room opened out on to a decked terrace near the jacuzzi above the pool. The pool itself was a reasonable size, with changing rooms and showers. The jacuzzi was a delight on hot afternoons. The hotel also has generous lounge/bar and play areas and I think it would suit families The hotel does not not have air-conditioning so in a summer such as this sleeping can be difficult, but this mountainous area does not normally have such high temperatures. The staff were welcoming and efficient. I have not found a separate TripAdvisor site for the hotel restaurant so I review it here. On offer were set menus and a carte, served in the dining room or on the shady terrace. The menus were interesting and the food well prepared and presented, we ate here twice during our stay and were pleased with our meals on both occasions. There was a good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Altogether the hotel provided an excellent three night night stay, with good value fro money. I would certainly stay here again."
"Two nights were enough to tell this is the right choice for a hotel in Le Grand-Bornand. From the reception to the restaurant, you are treated in the best way possible. You can chill at the cosy bar/living room during the evening, where you also have a pool table - guarantees lots of fun along with well-served drinks. It also has the cutest SPA I've ever seen. It's small but exceptional. The swimming pool, partially covered, the open-sky jacuzzi and the sauna were very clean and had an amazing view! A place to return, without a doubt."
"Value for money hotel in a fabulous location in the centre of the village. Nice to have spa facilities in hotel. Great breakfast very reasonably priced with a good range of choices. Very helpful reception staff."

"We had to be in the centre of bonneville at 8am and enquired about taxis but the staff offered to drive us in personally free of charge, which we were very grateful for. Staff were also extremely friendly despite us checking in quite late. Clean rooms."

"A 5 day ski break with family and friends made even better by the superb host Pascal and the location next to Cordon slopes. Staff are welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We had the attic suite which was perfect with our daughter. We woke each morning to the sun rising over Mont Blanc. Breakfast was delicious and the menu offered each evening on half board was of fine dining standard. Combloux for more extensive skiing is approx 5km away. You can walk into Cordon which is a small traditional French village. We had a private transfer from Geneva , approx.1 hour, but would recommend hiring a car. Our little holiday was fantastique and we would most certainly return."
"We took our 3 children and the grandparents away for a few days skiing. We found Les Rhodos and it exceeded our expectations. It is everything that is shown in the photos and more. The rooms are very comfortable, warm and extremely clean and modern but with character. We had exceptional views all around, we have been spoilt by fantastic breakfasts and amazing dinners. We chose to eat at the hotel restaurant every evening, and we were very impressed with the quality and presentation. The staff and Pascale were so friendly, we will certainly book again. Great that the hotel is very close to the ski resort, so very easy to access. We didn't want to leave!"
"We had a great stay here for 3 nights in August. It's a lovely hotel with amazing views, great food (had the fondue twice - but careful as it's 20 euros per person, and you don't know that until you pay when you leave!!), and great location for visiting places like Chamonix. The room was lovely and clean, very warm though as there's no air con and it's made of wood! Friendly staff who speak good English. Parked fine but I can imagine it's a pain in high season when the hotel is full! Didn't have the breakfast as it was 12,50euros a person and so we just went to a bakery or supermarket each morning. Overall I would definitely recommend!"

"We really enjoyed La Montagne. Room was a little small but it kept warm, had a large bathroom and nice balcony. Beautiful views and centrally located. Staff was friendly and breakfast was great. Only downside was couldnʻt get the wifi to work, but it didnʻt really matter because we were out enjoying most of the time."
"Staff was very accommodating, location is great (2min from parking, restaurants, bars and ski rentals), room was very quiet, breakfast was very good, and bar is active at night. Will definitely go back."

"We enjoyed our stay here. We got the last two rooms and they were small but comfortable. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was booked out so we didn't get to eat there. I would certainly stay here again. The location was great - in the middle of the village and near the free parking (presumably not free in ski season)."
"Hotel Christiania is the ideal location to enjoy the stunning summer scenery of La Cluzaz. The lift to Beauregard is a short walk away which transports you to another world. The summer meadows full of flora and fauna, and the tranquil soft sounds of the cow bells. The staff at Christiania are really helpful and accommodating and the food in the restaurant delicious. We are looking forward to our return stay at New Year!"
"We stayed as a group of 8 in 4 rooms. Fantastic location for hire shops and Cret de Merle lift. Plentiful hot water, quiet at night, good breakfasts, friendly staff We stayed in room 26 with a double and bunks so roomy for 2 but may be tight for a family. Adequate storage too"

"Perfect location, splendid mountains view and especially super tasty Michelin restaurant with exciting journey through the ocean of various tastes of a high French cuisine. Vine cart was also interesting and different. Strongly recommending for all tourists in Faverges region! "
"I've stayed at the Florimont for a couple of decades because of work meetings nearby. Nice quiet hotel away from the traffic of Annecy. Very good restaurant as well. New owner in the last year. Very friendly and genuinely trying to keep the previous standard and improve on it."
"Outdated room. Room smelled awefull like nicotine- tobacco . Bed was broken and therefore noisy, carpet dirty, bathroom covered with black hairs everywhere walls, floor, toilet and sink!!!. Needs good cleaning and an upgrade of the rooms, the furniture is really getting too old and smelly!!! Staff very friendly and helpful. "

"Great location. Local restaurant. Children’s options available and local dishes. All meals purchased were lovely. Great service and reasonably priced. We ordered steaks, salads and a dish similar to racklette "
"The location right on the mountain is great. However, there seemed to be a sewage problem and the lobby and rooms smelled like a barn. Owner is very kind and thoughtful and everything is clean and neat, albeit a bit tired."
