One of our most enjoyable stay during our 12 days trip around Sicily. Upon landing at Catania airport, we drove all the way to Dimora Cottanera, arriving after dark. Stayed here for three nights and weren’t bored. Excellent ambience, great views, good amenities, nice and strong hot water, very comfortable beds, very good breakfast. The infinity pool was too cold in November, but we did enjoy the sauna and the outdoor bath. Credits to Serena who was really nice and helpful. She arranged our Mt Etna trip and wine tasting.

We go to Italy and holiday frequently. Having not been to Sicily before I thought we would give it a go. When looking for places to stay we landed on The Best Western and liked what we saw about the Hotel. We returned to the UK on Monday (26 Jun) after a full week of exploring the Island. (not nearly enough time) Our hire car from Catania airport broke down en route 10km from the hotel. The hire company we're unhelpful and gave a number for a recovery firm to pick up the vehicle. We called the hotel and the reception staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged for a taxi to pick up my partner to the hotel, I waited for recovery. The recovery arrived some 3 hours later and took the car back to Cartania leaving me roadside. The hotel arranged for another taxi to pick me up. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, quiet and very clean. The room has more than enough space and facilities, we were on B&B basis but ate in the hotel in the evening. Again, the reception staff were wonderful and arranged for a local car hire company to deliver a car to the hotel, considerably cheaper than at the airport, a better car that was more comfortable. The swimming pool is in a prime position with uninterrupted views out to sea and the hotel backdrop is equally wonderful. The food was always presented beautifully and we never had a meal we didn't enjoy, the waiting staff were very attentive. The litmus test, would we go and stay there again, absolutely we would.

We were there with two babyes and we are very satisfied. They are very friendly. The food is exelent. Its very clean hotel and we recomend it. The stuff servise there is awesome and thay made us feal very welcome with out babies. We had all we were expecting for our vacation.

For about 5 years, even for one day, I have returned to this hotel that makes a heart of professionalism, but above all of relative quality, inside its stars. Accommodation (Loredana at the desk is prepared, format, concrete,coordinate services carefully and quickly); maximum hygiene (Nancy's team is discreet, ready, efficient). Breakfast is rich, with the possibility of ordering prepared dishes at the moment (spick Salve for both salt and sweet delicious) so with fresh and good products, not superfluous, not commercial but local. The kitchens have always been good, this time we haven't had dinner but the other guests seemed satisfied. The pool area is an alternative to the sea, extraordinary, but valid to enjoy local relaxation and natural colors around it. The view is unpaid. The owners distinguish themselves by motivation and generosity, they are proactive.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo villaggio tra fine giugno e prima settimana di luglio 2023. il villaggio è costituito da una serie di strutture immerse nel verde e da un corpo centrale (prospiciente la piscina) dove sono dislocate le camere superior (nostra scelta), il ristorante e la reception. La camera era molto grande dislocata su due piani con un bagno molto ampio e l'accesso dal secondo piano alla terrazza. Alcuni piccoli appunti: - lo spazio letto per i bambini/ragazzi e posto al secondo piano (per noi un problema in quanto abbiamo una bambina piccola); - l'arredamento forse un po' troppo minimale (al piano terra erano presenti il letto matrimoniale con i comodini, un tavolino con 2 sedie, un armadio e il mobiletto Tv/frigo). Sarebbe stata sicuramente comoda, visto che lo spazio lo consentiva, la presenza di un divanetto; - la vicinanza del corpo centrale alla zona piano bar/discoteca che la sera, finito lo spettacolo nell'arena, si attivava nell'area piscina comportava che si sentisse la musica (anche se un po' attutita) dalla camera. Ci teniamo però a sottolineare che la musica non andava oltre la mezzanotte. Capitolo cibo: ottima qualità e varietà dalla colazione alla cena (anche con serate tematiche). Tutto il personale (reception, sala, bar, personale di servizio, ecc.) è sempre stato disponibile e gentile. Una particolare lode agli animatori guidati dal vulcanico Panzer detto il Giaguaro che sono stati davvero bravi, divertenti in tutte le attività: dal miniclub/babydance, alle attività in spiaggia, agli spettacoli serali. Per quanto riguarda il mare: - l'accesso alla spiaggia è comodissimo in quanto si raggiunge facilmente a piedi con una passeggiata di pochi minuti attraversando una pineta; - la spiaggia è ampia e bella e offre una vista meravigliosa sulla baia di Tindari e le isole Eolie che si possono scorgere all'orizzonte; - il mare è molto bello ma per chi ha bambini piccoli si deve considerare che il fondale degrada abbastanza rapidamente (nostra figlia con braccioli e maschera si è comunque divertita moltissimo tanto da non voler mai uscire dall'acqua complice la ricchezza di pesci presenti già a ridosso della riva). - da tenere presente che nel caso di giornate ventose il vento può essere forte e il mare mosso. In conclusione possiamo ritenerci molto soddisfatti del soggiorno sotto ogni punto di vista.
