"On our way back from the Cote d'Azur we had made what turned out to be an inspired choice when deciding to add in a stopover at Maison Aribert with a night at the hotel. Our dinner was truly outstanding, the best that we have had this year even exceeding our dinner at Mirazur (and that for about half the price I shall add). The dining room was modern, well designed and spacious. Staff made every effort and succeeded in making us comfortable the entire evening. The sommelier presented us with three excellent very well chosen wines. And the food, well the food was the absolutely outstanding menu des Specialites. We enjoyed every single dish and were unable to find even the smallest fault. If Monsieur Aribert is cooking like this every day then the third star will be awarded very soon. I can't wait to return."
"As a family, we had two rooms in this lovely boutique hotel. Each was unique, very well furnished and spacious. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms had spacious and luxurious bathrooms with rain showers. The rooms also have cute balconies overlooking the park. Very relaxing and calm environment. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast buffet was made with very good quality ingredients. The hotel is recent and in a very well renovated character building. Very highly recommend a visit here. "

"We were staying at the chateau as the last point of our summer holidays before going back home. Goal was to sleep well and have a great meal at the gault millau restaurant as the end of the holidays. It ended up being the opposite. Yes, sometimes you are not able to book a table at the restaurant and the hotel restaurant is fully booked. But when we checked in (after 6 hours of drive with two hungy kids) we found out that there was absolutely no food. Nothing. No Bar card, no Room service, nothing. It was said that they had no staff for this. This never happened to me in my whole life. A hotel with a gault millau restaurant should always be able to do something for a hungry customer. The bad Pizzeria that was offered was not an alternative when you are expecting to eat at a chateau with a great restaurant. Yes, the room was great, the breakfast is good, the style of the hotel really fitted. But when you fail in one of the central points of a hotel with kitchen i really can't give a good review."
"We really enjoyed our three nights here. The rooms are comfortable and what a view! Despite being some distance from the city centre, the bus stop is only a short walk away. The local shops look interesting as well although we didn't have enough time to check them out personally. There is a pool and a great outside eating/drinking area. A personal introduction to our tour group by the owner/manager set the tone - the staff were friendly and helpful. Be warned - the restaurant is very popular so book ahead."
"Very nice, comfortable escape hotel It was our first post-corona travel and we enjoyed the warm welcome by the owning family. Wide view, beautiful, submountane garden - ideal frame to overcome the experience of the last weeks and to practice social distancing. "

"Very soulful hotel. Employees of the reception are always ready to answer any of your questions. Maybe 1 km from the center, quiet area, even if the windows are on a traffic street. Excellent parking space in the inner courtyard of cars at 15-20. There is nothing to force you not to come back here again!"
"While the hotel is well located near the centre of Grenoble, the triple room that we stayed in was very tired. The mattress would cave in slightly and the room, lacking air conditioning or a fan was very hot at night. The corridors also were painted to look like a nursery school which was a bit odd. The breakfast was also lacking for 10 Euros per person and after 9.15 it seemed that things that had run out such as eggs were not replaced. However the terrace was pleasant to sit at. That said, everything in the room worked correctly and all the staff we encountered at the reception were friendly and willing to be helpful. There was also a private and secure car park which in the town centre was an attraction of the hotel. Finally it was well located. We were advised to take the tram to the town centre which was cheap, quick and convenient but you could also walk for 15-20 mins instead. In conclusion I would only consider this as an option if you are in Grenoble for one night to quickly see the town centre and if a good rate is on offer."
"Be warned, the hotel ‘says’ it’s a 3 Star hotel - this place may not even deserve a 1 star. After changing my room because the carpet was so filthy that it was sticky, the next room had serious high mileage issues. (see photos) The weather was hot and the air-conditioning didn’t work well and was very uncomfortable. No stand up shower only hand wand. Breakfast included was OK but did not have much selection except for a couple of good cheeses. Coffee machine in the breakfast area was excellent. Every day/night I came down to the front desk they had different people there and only one was OK with English. Location was good but completely ripped up by road construction putting in new sidewalks. Sewers or garbage directly outside smells pretty bad. I would not let anyone I cared about stay at this hotel. Pay a little more and move to the Grand."

"We booked for two nights but stayed one more because we couldn't bear leaving - I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were smiley, helpful and friendly. All the products in the bathrooms are from the deluxe 'Uriage' range. The hotel is calm, airy, luminous, set in a park next to a little village where you can find a butcher's, cheesemaker, two patisseries, snack bars/restaurants and a few cafés. There's a fabulous two-star Michelin restaurant next door, 'Maison Aribert' for 'gourmands' or there's the accompanying 'café' - 'Café A' - offering delicious food at affordable prices. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food, but the breakfast looked wonderful - we tend to have light breakfasts so went out. There are plenty of woodlands, mountains and fields to walk/trek through as well as the castle on top of the hill. Grenoble is nearby as is the only French Revolution museum in France (in Vizille) set in a castle and park. Lots to do for travellers who want to visit the area but if not, the hotel has two pools, a sauna and sunbathing area (the steam room - hamman was closed due to Covid-19 restrictions). Even though the hotel was full, we felt private and unaware of people around us. We took one of the attic rooms 'Mansard'. You should state you want a 'park' view as the other side, though fine, is not as spectacular. Warning: as I said, you do travel back in time so most shops and restaurants are closed Mondays, many on Tuesdays as well (inc the hotel's restaurant) and some on Sundays, so you need to be a little organised when planning meals."
"We spent three nights in a standing room (park & terrace), named after Stendhal and located at the very end of the second floor’s corridor. This room offered access to a nice, large and private terrace overlooking the street and the park. We had breakfast at the hotel, and one dinner there as well. Although very good on average, our stay left us with mixed feelings. Some staff members were beaming and outstanding, others were unsmiling and looked bored. Our room was spotless most of the time (changing slippers and bathrobes every two days is great) but our accommodation was not so well serviced on other instances. One morning, a maid knocked at our door to make up our room at a time when we had already been serviced and the “do not disturb sign” was hung outside : how is that possible?! The hotel’s private parking lot is not large enough to accommodate all guests’ cars, something which is not advertised and which puts you at risk of wasting a lot of time if you return late to the hotel and find no space for your car in the streets (beware of Friday and Sunday evenings). A (false) fire alarm was triggered off one afternoon and, after having evacuated our room through the stairs, we ended up with no information or instructions given by staff on duty. The property is historical but our room looked more like a 1980s hotel accommodation, especially the bathroom which used to be modern a couple of decades ago. We would rather have either a fully renovated room in a modern style, or a fully vintage room, not this strange in-between option. To sum up, this could be a great place but it proved quite inconsistent during our stay especially as regards service."
"We chose this hotel because it was dog-friendly, offered first class dining with overnight possibilities, an adjacent park (to walk our two dogs) and a spa with a pool. We were not disappointed - except the pool is more for exercise and therapy than swimming (however, not obvious from the information on the hotel's website). The restaurant and adjacent bistrot have been recently modernised and decorated. By contrast, the hotel is old fashioned and in need of modernistaion/renovation (also the bedroom facilities). A further minus point is the closeness of the next door casino. Those wishing a quiet night's sleep should ask for a room on the park side of the hotel. A further minus was the breakfast buffet both as regards ambiance (especially the buffet entrance area) and the modesty of the items on the breakfast buffet - with only do-it-yourself boiled eggs and pancakes as hot dish alternatives. We also noted that used dishes were not immediately cleared from the breakfast tables which did not improve the general dining ambiance. On the plus side, we and our dogs were made most welcome by the universally friendly, helpful, smiling and efficient staff. Viator e cani Coloniae"

"The friends we went to from the airport were very convenient. It would be great if we took a taxi directly. Then the front desk service was very friendly. We stayed in so many hotels and felt that the price performance of the hotel was very high. Recommended"

"The hotel is easy to find, convenient, located outside the city center. Room was good size with good amenities. Dogs are allowed and we were able to bring ours to the breakfast as well (avoiding him extra stress by being alone in the room). Enough parking space, friendly staff, good breakfast. The only downside for us was the fact that the restaurant was closed for a week or so and all restaurants within walking distance were closed too - 24th Dec evening, totally understandable! - so we ended up driving to the city center where our car was broken into while we were at the restaurant... Christmas day spent at the hotel de Police for the report. Indirectly linked to the hotel, but be very careful in Grenoble!!! It is NOT a safe city."
"Clean rooms, not big, not small, enough parking space outside. We stayed in a more luxurious room because of the minibar with freedrinks and the Nespresso machine. There is a small swimming pool, but the weather was not nice, so we didn’t visit it. The hotel lies in an area with offices and a shopping mall Carrefour. The restaurant serves nice meals. The breakfast buffet is well-stocked and the nice lady with breakfast duty is prepared to bake eggs or beacon if you arrive half an hour before closing time. The views are not spectacular, but if you visit Grenoble and its Bastille, your wishes are granted. We’ll probably visit it again if we’re in the area. "
"I stayed many times in this hotel and I am always happy to come back. The Hotel has a private parking (free), bar, restaurant. Rooms are well maintained, only the beds are to hard for me but it’s a personal opinion, you might like it. Anyway, I recommend you to stay here, you won’t regret."

"The location of the hotel is very convenient, and the transportation is very convenient. There are various stations not far away. This is very good. Choosing this hotel is because the rooms are relatively large, and it is also a chain star hotel. , The sanitary environment is not bad, you know, the room there for the same price is ten to twenty square meters. It is recommended and will be booked for a long time"
"Very nice, close to the train station. It is also very convenient to leave the b line. The front desk has a good attitude and the lobby bar is also great. The breakfast is very good. Next time you come should choose this hotel"
"The location of the hotel is very good, just near the train station, very convenient, the rooms are large, the service is very good, recommended!"

"My stay was very pleasant. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and smiling all the time, and I would love to come back. They speak English very well. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. Breakfast was nice. I did not visit the bar. There are also a very nice and clean pool area. Plenty of free parking spaces. The access to the hotel can be a problem for some. There are several steps (8-9) up to the reception and front desk. There are an outside some steep “cute” / walking path, which can be slippery when wet. People using wheelchair will have problems entering the hotel. The hotel only has 1 very, very old and small cart for your luggage. The location of the hotel is convenient. There are a few nice restaurants in the neighborhood within walking distance."
"Nice modern hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly, it was very clean and the shower water was hot straight away, also good free WiFi. Nice heated pool with terrace and bar. Free parking. The breakfast was very good, but the restaurant was not open on Sunday night but there was plenty of amenities just a few minutes away. Tiny comment the ultra modern lighting was a bit harsh in the bedroom"
"Stayed here as appointment in nearby Cedar Med Centre. Just 10 mins walk so great for that. Nice rooms. Nice atmosphere and what a lovely breakfast. Another appointment soon so will be returning! Free parking too"
