Good location. Interesting environment. I liked the design of the room. Typical simple French breakfast.

Convenient hygiene

Lovely old insurance building with impressive stained glass in the grand staircase windows. Excellent open private parking, shared with Ibis. Use intercom at gate at 22 Rue Erpell behind hotel and they will open it. Initial corner Privilege room 315 was 28C in May heatwave and aircon had no effect despite technician’s efforts. However the lovely staff found another much cooler Privilege room 323, which was fine, if a bit dark. Room decoration drab, with no pictures on the walls, but good bed, plenty of storage and nice bathroom with bath/shower. Big TV, but no channels in English. Good WiFi. Good breakfast selection , but limited dinner menu and wine list in soulless restaurant with average food and sketchy service. Staff generally delightful, particularly at Reception. A fairly easy walk to the main square and the lovely old town and cathedral.

We arrived on our bikes in the middle of a heatwave and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We able to store the bikes in their secure car park, the rooms were clean with very effective air conditioning. We ate dinner in the hotel which was OK, but it's just reheated pots of food. Breakfast is served very early if requried with a very good choice.

Stayed overnight travelling from Calais onto Bordeaux. Check in was smooth in English, Lisa at reception was very helpful. Hubert was extremely helpful and apologetic as the restaurant was closest due to Sunday. The hotel is exceptionally clean, rooms have a kettle, unlike the ones which follow from this review. The room is big enough for 2 and all the luggage. 10/10 for an exceptional place and a stopover. Burger King around the corner, you will need your NHS QR code before entry. We went to BK as we had a beer at the hotel and didn't want to risk driving.

First stay here great central position, very helpful check in. We had a prestige room, very quiet, very comfortable, and clean. gave us free parking up checkout ! Would recommendand book if we stay in le mans again . Really easy to get to from the old town, and the centre of le mans

We stayed here 14/8/23. Car parking available and free to park. Lovely outside enclosed area with chickens and goats in. A beautiful nature reserve surrounding the hotel. We stayed for one night and it was reasonably priced. Room clean and had a good night's sleep. On arrival greeted by friendly staff. Had a couple of drinks sat outside at the tables. They do serve food in the evenings but we didn't eat there. However, breakfast in the morning was really good. Lots of options available hot and cold food. Buffet style and exceptional for the price. I can't remember how much breakfast cost but it was well worth it. We would definitely stay here again and preferred not to be in the centre of Le Mans. Staff were friendly and polite. So pleased we stayed here to break our journey through France . Thank you x
