"The Hotel de Seze is an outstanding choice for visiting Bordeaux. Location: The hotel is in the city center, about a fifteen minute taxi ride from the main train station and an easy walk to the main shopping and sightseeing areas; there are multiple cafes and restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Rooms: The Seze is a boutique hotel with around 50 rooms, and appears to have been updated fairly recently. We booked a basic room, which was comfortable, but extremely small and overlooking an interior courtyard. As we were adjacent to an elevator, we asked to change rooms, and the staff kindly upgraded us to the next room category, which offered more space. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom fixture and amenities were excellent. One quirk: As is typical in France, the bathroom and toilet are separate. The toilet did not have its own sink, however, so you have to traipse across the room to wash your hands in the bathroom. Amenities: WiFi is free, and worked quite well. We didn't use the spa or any of the other facilities. We did have breakfast, which includes two options: coffee, juice, and pastry for 10 euros, or a buffet including fruit, cereal, pastry, eggs, and cold cuts for 20 euros - both a reasonable deal and of good quality compared with what you'd get at most cafes. Service: Staff members were genuinely helpful and accommodating. Check-in was fast and pleasant, and the woman at the front desk volunteered a map and highlighted interesting areas of the city to visit. Staff did their best to help when we asked for late check-out on our departure. Overall, the Hotel de Seze is a great boutique property, and was the perfect base for our time in Bordeaux."
"We absolutely loved Bordeaux and the hotel was in a perfect location to explore! Our room was really big and immaculate and the staff were really lovely. We didnt eat at the hotel but the restaurant and food looked lovely. I was I'll during my stay and the staff were very helpful in finding am English speaking doctor. We will definitely return to Bordeaux and the hotel de seze! "
"Your property as per below is very good. Making a reservation was very prompt. However, upon check out, your staff was totally lost and could not figure out what had been paid as we extended twice. The lady even thought we had three rooms at some point. But nevermind small matter. Also, Your TV hang and the sound picture is distorted. That was for both of our rooms. I believe you know the issue but you have to attend to it urgently. Sometimes, one likes to watch news or others. otherwise it was a very good stay. "
