Top 10 Le Verone Hotels

We had been travelling in the South of France for 9 days when we arrived in Lyon to stay in this beautiful hotel. The location near the funicular and the Roman museum/amphitheatre was perfect. Literally 10 minutes interesting walk downhill to the old town. But it was a struggle to ever leave. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, the pool area(which we were the only occupants of) was so relaxed. The breakfast delicious. But it was the ever helpful, professional, delightful staff that made the whole experience. The concierge made excellent walk/meal suggestions and she so patiently explained the easiest way to find places. The breakfast staff couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating. Actually every staff member we encountered was delightful as if they really wanted us to have the best possible stay in this exquisite hotel We rarely return to a place, but it would be worth returning to Lyon just to stay here!

On the hill, the hotel overlooks the old town and the main church, and the scenery is breathtaking. The breakfast is very good, the variety is rich, the fruit is very fresh, and the outdoor dining environment is equally satisfying. The hotel’s Michelin restaurant is also very good, with a historic and historic location in the heart of the city. The outdoor swimming pool is also very beautiful, and you can take a look at the night in the night to enjoy the real night! This is a fun property. It's an old building that was a hospital before it was converted. The building is spectacular. It was also very clean. The rooms are quite large - by any standard and especially French standards. The space was also very well utilized. The bathroom was similarly large and well laid out. The location is excellent - near the rivers and lots of tourist areas. It's an expensive area but that's not unexpected. The wifi was good and the A/C worked well. The airport is outside the city so it costs about 50-60€ each way. The property was very quiet. They did a nice job insulating the windows to block traffic noise. Bottom line, I would absolutely return.

Booking in advance is cost-effective, breakfast is good, the location is in the scenic area, it is very convenient to go to the top of the mountain church.

I was fortunate enough to visit The Boscolo in August of this year (22) and have to say I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the first impression of the hotel is fabulous. The room was beautiful, clean and very well finished with lovely comfortable beds. The treats left were very welcome too. The pool area was wonderful and the meal we had in the evening, around the pool, was exceptionally good. I would love to visit Nice again and if I do the Boscolo would be my first choice!
