"Booked package deal incl breakfast and diner which was very well organized. Room was spacious, nice bathroom, great linings and sufficient room to store. Everywhere hotel alcohol gels available. Check-in/check-out experience was rather not covid-19 proof with desk employees not wearing mask properly. Temperature check at check-in should be considered providing certainty about hotel experience. Breakfast was well organized however people standing to close meet insufficiently social distancing."
"The stay was pretty good, the food was amazing. Help was available in multiple languages, the Breakfast staff and reception staff where AMAZING! Sadly no supermarkets nearby. But enough restaurant around in the area. Amazing Location. The people here are really friendly. Very Corona proof."
"this hotel exceeded our expectations fantastic location wonderful restaurants all backed up with great staff . A big thank you to Robbie and Jesus for looking after ourselves in their superb restaurant and to Quentin on reception for going that extra mile . We will be visiting again ."

"We were very warm welcomed when checking in to the Saint Amour in Durbuy. With only 14 rooms, this hotel is small but great. A diamant found by chance on TripAdvisor which made our stay in Durbuy very pleasant. The people were extremly nice and friendly, the room and interieur of the whole hotel was very cute, the food was delicious and in addition, this very small city has stolen our heart. We had breakfirst and diner at the hotel (were visiting during the day) and it was absolutely delicious. Special requests were always happily fulfilled so that we felt welcomed and could relax on our 4 days "long weekend" trip. I can only recommend this cute little place and would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone in the hotel by heart for this pleasant stay. We will come back!"
"Don’t expect friendly service. Been there many times, but at this point I honestly don’t care. But still the best trout in Durbuy, researched enough. Lovely terrace. In general good cuisine absolutely."

Rue Des Récollectines, 4, Durbuy, Luxembourg, Belgium
"Honestly, I do not understand how this hotel gets the reviews it does? We found the room, "ok" but being on the first floor anyone above you sounds like a herd of elephants due to the thin, wooden floors. Our initial room had a door with a gaping hole in it and if you are more than 1,50m in height you will have an issue with the toilet! The other room was a little better away from the stairs, but still noisy above us. BUT, for me, a hotel's heart and soul hangs on the reception staff and Maître D in the restaurant... and this is where this place fell down big time. They honestly do not care about your welfare or even grace you with any social contact..." Get in, get out" and no advice on where to go, or what to see etc...Restaurant main waitress was rude (particularly on the first evening...) and we had the feeling we were a gross inconvenience for them. Menu was ok, BUT anything such as veg instead of something else, becomes expensive fast.... especially any water with your meal! Breakfast though was ok and indeed you can certainly find enough to start your day well, their most positive point. Durbuy is worth seeing, but my advice is DO NOT STAY there... pop in, see it and go!"
"When booking a hotel in Durbuy, we factored in that due to the nature of this town, rooms would be small and parking limited. Even with this considered, this stay was disappointing. The main issue was a lack of air conditioning which is probably OK for 10 months of the year but not so good in July/Aug. This left us with very little sleep leading to a fatigued stay. When booking, the hotel could have provided more information on where to find the hotel plus where to park. You park in a pay and display which although fairly cheap, could have been told in advance. We stayed up some fairly steep stairs and the fire exit appeared to be outside our bedroom window. Ok for us but I’m not sure an elderly or infirm person would cope. Minor things such as no tea/coffee making facilities would normally be ignored but simply added to the feeling we could have done better elsewhere. "
"We booked a junior suite in this hotel which is very well located and the room is spacious and clean. If you like to go to bed before 1 or 2 am don't stay here. There are a few bars nextdoor which play loud music and have people in the street singing and talking loudly, which is fine ofcourse but not if you want to sleep."

64, Rue Vecpré, La Roche-en-Ardenne, Luxembourg, Belgium
"Nestling on the slope of a hill in this most beautiful part of the Ardennes, just outside La Roche, is this charming family run hotel. The Ourthe river runs through an immaculately tended and colourful garden. The core of the hotel is Victorian but there are new, chalet-style rooms facing the garden that offer large balconies and good bathrooms with real baths. The dining room also looks on to the garden and is attractively panelled and light. Food is far better than you would expect from a Logis (which this is, although a 4 star one). The wine list is extensive but you don't need to spend more than 24 euros to get a very acceptable claret or burgundy. Your waiter will be Jean-Louis, a man of perfect manners and solicitude, brother of the manager and the lady who supervises the kitchen. It is the perfect place to base a tour of the Battle of the Bulge. Fishing and canoing is another draw. So is bicycling; but that is for the virile only as the Ardennes is festooned with steep narrow roads and thick dark woods, as Hitler found to his cost. "
"We got a wonderful vintage suite with a view of the hotel’s backyard and garden. The room had the needed modern conveniences like adequate hot water, bright lights, adequate plugs and comfortable bed. The man that checked us in and helped us with our luggage and showing us our room was so very, polite and friendly. He also was our waiter for dinner. The hotel had a period beauty that we enjoyed during our 1 day stay."
"We have now stayed at this hotel four years running with our dog who loves it here. It is an excellent base for La Roche and the walking is excellent, so many different paths that are well marked. It is a quirky hotel but the service is superb, it is a very clean hotel also. Thiroughly recommend it. "

Rue Jean De Bohême, 6, Durbuy, Luxembourg, Belgium
"Durbuy(pronounced Durbwee) is a beautiful town steeped in history and positioned geographically within the Wallonia region of Belgium. This place was unsurprisingly untouched during the Nazi advance through the Ardennes in the second world war. It would have been too nice to spoil I imagine. The small city with its cobbled streets is a great place to visit no doubt. The buildings, eateries and drinking establishments are plentiful and the choice of Belgian beers are endless. There aren't many places to stay within this small city (more like a small town really)but there are a few like the Hotel Le Vieux but beware! The hotel, as a building is fine, it looks great from the outside and has character. The problem, which is surprising is it is too hot inside the rooms. There is no air con or fans and has ventilation only through an open double glazed window which is ineffective. The noise from the street is echoed by the closeness of the streets and alleyways, so opening the windows for air leaves you in a catch 22 situation. You either get suffocated or put up with the relentless sound of the many people traversing the streets, day and night. An old creaking staircase to the rooms doesn't help anybody staying there either. The building is also annexed away from the check-in reception at its sister hotel,50 meters or so down the street. The hotel annex is unmanned for some reason. Breakfast is optional at 15 Euros per head. Buffet style food is served openly on side tables within the dining area. The problem is the flies. I have never seen so many flies around food in all my traveling years especially in a hotel such as this. It made me sick to my stomach. The breakfast is mainly continental and there were baguettes stacked up, fruit loafs uncovered, small patisseries and fruit open to this unwelcome plethora of germ-ridden insects. What made it worse were the toilets situated next to the dining room. I saw one lady dipping a cake thing into her tea. She probably ate the fly eggs within it too. Disgusting!! 'Get a fly killer', no expense spared, please. Toilet area, open plated food and flies do go together..for the flies, yes but come on get a grip!!. I suppose the proprietor will be mesmerized by these comments but I want to make sure they really know about healthy, hygienic conditions. It can't be ignored and please don't blame the wooded areas and river nearby. Get a damn Diaminox, it is quick and easy and for those bog fly lovers they won't know what hit them, so don't worry. Durbuy is definitely worth a visit but be wary of this hotel and its ignorance of food standards. Oh! and the wifi is diabolical, sorry."
"We stayed with 4 in the appartement. Spacious, nicely decorated. Bathroom with bath and shower in 1, separated toilet. 2 bedrooms, a small room with tv and sitting corner, large kitchen. 2 dogs allowed. Check-in and breakfast at Hotel Victoria, 1 minute away. Friendly French speaking staff. Don't forget to pay your parking ticket, 25€ fine. The only disadvantage is that there are no parking solutions foreseen for hotel guests. Breakfast basic but everything you need, 15€/p.p., dog 6,5€/day. We had a great stay!"
"Perfectly located in old town centre, antique feel and if you do not mind creaking floors and doors, it has all necessary amenities. Breakfast setup at nearby group Victoria hotel simple but complete. Clean sheets and towels every day included."

"So, we came here just after the corona lockdown was stopped. It was great, i can certainly recommend it, especially considering price/quality, the staff really helpful. The restaurant was price quality (and considering a 4 yo) super. Sure you will have people complain that there are better hotels, better food,... but considering what you pay; it s awesome. The cocktails by the way are also by the way super (and the irish coffee perfect 😀). "
"The hotel and everything in it, including staff, food, swimming pool is for the highest mark. I fully recommend this hotel not only for one night but for some short holiday. I would advice a little music in restaurant and swimming pool as well."
"Ok in terms of value for money and spa with swimming pool is great. Good size beds and nice bathroom etc.. We were staying at one of the houses for 5 people. You should note that houses is not part of the hotel. You will not get towels, toilet rolls or room service etc.. Giving 4 starts because you have to rent a towel for 10 EUR. Really !!??"
