"The castle hotel where Elizabeth I spent his childhood is really beautiful, the environment is beautiful, and the medieval castle hotel itself is classic and beautiful, it is worth visiting. Service is good, breakfast is good, as long as it is not a weekend, the price is super high, it is definitely worth a stay |"
"Great value for money. The breakfast place is beautiful, the room is average, next to a large park, very suitable for parents and children, free parking, overall recommended!"
"The hotel is really beautiful, but the details are not clean enough. Many places are grayed out. It is a very traditional British castle. However, I ca n’t sleep at night when I sleep at night."

"I'm a regular at Weston Hall Hotel as its on my doorstep, as I love the place. But I stayed over night for the first time on Halloween, & it was Spooktacular! Me & my friends enjoyed a fab evening listening to the evenings entertainment Natalie Nightingale, she was amazing!! So my first stay over.... Let's start with the general look; absolutely lovely, clean spacious & well equipped. Yes ladies leave your hairdryer at home, they have one at your disposal, along with ironing board, iron, TV, kettle tea & coffee, bottle of water, & plenty of plugs & mirrors to get ready, us ladies love that lol! The ensuite had a massive shower, perfect temperature, plenty of towels, & usual shower gel & soap. The entertainment & food is excellent, as is the service. The bed was the perfect firmness, & I had a great night's sleep. I can't say enough praise about ALL the staff, having that nothing is too much attitude, warm, welcoming, & friendly. I would highly recommend you staying over & enjoying great entertainment & food. I for one will be treating myself to a stay over more often, as it's lovely being pampered, & breakfast was sooo delicious! A big thank you to all the staff for looking after me as always"
"Western Hall, although weather and age worn, is a great place to stay over on a trip. For the best experience (from our experience) you need to book at least large room, ours was large double. Our experience of standard/small was not horrible, if you just want a bed to sleep in and a bath/shower in the morning. But in a large double you get a two seater sofa and table, which changes everything. Just to sit down and rest, chat or even eat in your room. Very relaxing! We ate in the bar, food was okay. Although it can get noisy, if there’s a group in trying to out talk each other..... there’s also a lounge to site and read, drink. The grounds are nice, especially if you have a dog, even a dog waste bin. Our only gripe, which is true of all hotels we have stayed in, is you can’t build your own meal/breakfast and pay just for that. It’s all pre set, if there are things in the meal you don’t want, they will remove them, but you still pay full price. Streamline for them, but not a true service for us!"
"From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the lovely professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. It's so hard these days to find excellent customer service but this beautiful hotel offered just that. Everyone went above and beyond and made our stay so special. We booked the prosecco package with dinner bed and breakfast. The bedroom was beautiful and overlooked some beautiful grounds. The food was delicious. We honestly had the best time. Thank you so much we are already planning on coming back. Special mention to the duty manager I think his name was graham he was fantastic."

"Visited yesterday, 14th March 2020. My husband and I had Prosecco Afternoon Tea. The arrival welcome was wonderful and this set the tone for the whole experience. The table was beautifully laid with a lovely old fashioned China Tea Set. The service was first class and friendly. The food was delicious and had clearly been lovingly prepared and presented. A healthy variety of sandwich fillings and delightful sweet treats. We were offered extra sandwiches and tea which was fabulous. In case sandwiches, cakes, little Madeline's and chocolate treats aren't enough, then come your freshly cooked scones, cream and jam. These scones were light, fluffy and warm. Delicious. We didn't eat everything and the waitress (Debbie) offered to pack it up for us to take home. Attention to detail, attention to customer satisfaction and attention to the quality of what they are delivering seem to be priority, which is very refreshing indeed. Well done Badgers Mount, it genuinely was a pleasure to visit your restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place and will return."
"Wow what can I say but.... Amazing place to stay ! The staff especially Sharon on reception was an exception. As the outbreak of corona we were still able to stay at Field view as it is a separate apartment from the hotel. When we were ready for the meals they would bring them round at the time stated. Delicious meals with everything we ordered. The jacuzzi was clean and well isolated. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and shall definitely be back. Thank you to all staff who made this possible. Stay safe xxx"
"Stayed here for 4 nights. Room was on ground floor with terrace. Good sized room with comfy beds. More drawer space would have been nice as would a fridge! Bathroom was ok with a large jacuzzi bath. Again, more storage space for toiletries would have been welcome. Breakfasts were served prompt, freshly cooked and hot. All staff were polite and smiling (difficult in light of the world situation). Had one lunch and one evening meal. Both surpassed expectations. The food was excellently presented, tasted as it should and if you have the chicken pie be prepared for a very large portion. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend."

"The hotel is very good, the first time I went to Coventry in England for a room that was different. The rooms are old but the facilities are great and the lobby staff are very welcoming. The hotel has a Ricoh-sponsored stadium and the scenery is good. I will come here later on business trip."
"The hotel has air conditioning, let's emphasize that the hotel has air conditioning! Most places in the UK are not air-conditioned. The hotel is in a stadium. The interior of the stadium can be seen through the window."
"The environment is good and the room is new. The continental style breakfast is also good. It's highly recommended."

"we had a family room and it was nice - only minor issue was the small cobwebs around the wall lamps. In a time of coronavirus and big claims about how deep cleaning is taking place its a bit concerning to find a surface area not cleaned for seemingly some time. But that's all I have to moan about. For the good parts, great helpful staff and even the modified breakfast service was great!"
"Coventry South is by far and away the best Premier Inn i have visited. Nothing was too much trouble and during these difficult times the staff made sure the visit was safe and enjoyable! It was a the perfect base for our visit to Warwick Castle and Stratford."
"Had the best night's sleep at this little place, nothing was too much trouble and all facilities available ion the room - tea/coffee making, TV, wifi, shower, toilet and sink with body wash/shampoo. Towels were decent as was hot water. "

Sketchley Lane, Burbage, Hinckley and Bosworth, Leicestershire, United Kingdom
"On arrival the car park was nice and clean and presentable, the front desk also was very nice and plenty of signage to help social distance. We stayed in the Marianne Antoinette suite which was very nice, clean sheets and a huge bed! The heated mirror and dual showers were a nice touch too. The spa treatments we received were great although we did feel the massages were a little softer than we were used to. The spa pool were good, although the pool was a little cooler than most indoor ones I have used. The sauna and steam rooms were perfect though. The heated jacuzzi was great, but the metal fence around the rim was very rusty and the bottom was full of what I could describe as sand. The pools interior felt a little outdated and could do with covering up the old painted walls and would look a lot more refreshing in a lighter tone, but keeping the Roman motifs (the columns) would be nice. By the pools jacuzzi there did appear to be a broken fixture on the column leaving an area for water to get in. The hallways to the rooms had carpets, they did look like they needed a deep clean, there were lots of bits in the floor that the hovers had missed, also the hand railings were sticky. The restaurant was the nicest part of the hotel, staff were great, although my vegitarian options were a little lackluster, I received rice and a chickpea curry, however it appeared to be microwaved as the curry sauce which was served in a dish also had rice in it. Started and deserts were great. The breakfast room was pleasent however, the 2 person table felt way too small for us to get everything leaving us a little uncomfortable. The food was nice but nothing special. I would stay again, but I think there are a couple of quick wins above that I feel could be addressed."
"We booked a stay at Sketchley Grange for our wedding anniversary. The pandemic and restrictions had limited our options and put paid to my initial plans so this was a last minute booking and we weren't sure what to expect due to the pandemic but it was a wonderful stay which we hope to repeat soon! The reception staff were really friendly and welcoming. We booked a Junior Suite which was beautiful. It was incredibly spacious, modern in its decor and very clean. The bed was so comfy and the double ended bath was such a treat. The room was really nice and toasty and there was minimal noise from the corridor. The hotel had a very easy one way system to follow that worked very well. Dinner in the evening was nice. The menu is currently limited and they had sold out of my initial choice but I had the braised beef which was really tender. The staff were very polite and attentive. During our stay we felt completely safe in terms of covid and social distancing and safety precautions were all adhered to. Breakfast in the morning was orderly and tasty. The only downside to our stay was that we were told on arrival that the pool area was out of bounds due to a fault. Nobodys fault but this was a shame as we had specifically booked a spa hotel with pool as it was our ten year anniversary and we didn't want to just be in the room. However if we get the chance to return, as we wish to, hopefully we will get the opportunity to use the leisure facilities. Overall, a lovely stay at a lovely hotel. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and efforts to keep the show running despite the difficulties the pandemic has thrown up. I wish you all the very best during this next lockdown and hope to return and see you on the 'other side'."
"This is a copy of the email I sent to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction regarding a recent visit to the Spa, I am yet to recieve a response, despite emailing twice. I, along with my Mother, Sister, Neice and Daughter attended for the day on 21st Feb 2020, this was bought by my Father as a Christmas present for us. Upon arrival we were shown to the cafe/waiting area to complete some forms and choose our lunch order, the room was quite small and most of the seats were taken, thankfully some ladies gave up their seats for my mum. The room wasn't very welcoming and there were numerous holes in the walls.... not a great first impression, the reception/welcoming staff were however, lovely.  We collected our towel/dressing gowns and made our way to the changing rooms, I am shocked at how dirty and poorly maintained they were (please see the attached pictures). The toilets were dirty, there were numerous holes in the walls, severe damp patches and leaks from the toilets, the area with the family changing facilities was filthy, I am glad I didn't have any small children to get changed. There was a hole in the ceiling of the changing room, this made me feel quite uncomfortable. My niece's towel and 2 of our dressing gowns had somebody else's make-up on, they just didn't seem to be very clean.  In the bottom if the Jacuzzi there was what felt like sand, which I can only imagine was dirt. As we were there at 10am I dont understand how that managed to build up so quickly. We decided to go for lunch before our treatments, we asked a member of reception staff if it was ok for us to wear our dressing gowns, we were told we could. We walked around the building (we were not advised that there was a way to get there inside, I overheard a member of staff telling another customer later in the day that they could). Upon walking into the Bar area we were surprised to see that there was number of guests dressed in wedding attire celebrating a civil ceremony.  If we had known that we may have put our clothes on, we felt extremely uncomfortable to be standing there in our dressing gowns being stared at! We made our way to a booth in the corner out of the way, my mum then stood at the bar beside these people waiting to be served, it was quite uncomfortable for her, even more so when we were told that we couldn't sit in the booth and were moved to the other side, this meant that we were sitting literally back to back with the ceremony guests! We stood at the bar for ages waiting to be served as there was 1 member of bar staff. We eventually asked the waitress delivering the food for drinks and she passed the message on, we didn't receive our drinks until our food was nearly finished. The food was also not to the standard that I would expect, the bread on the sandwiches was quiet hard, as though it had been made earlier but not covered over, I had 1 peice of tomatoe in my salad, it was just overall poor. We then left to "

"Went for afternoon tea today for my husbands birthday. Left feeling a little disappointed as it was my husbands first ever afternoon tea and our first trip to Ansty Hall hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our table. When our afternoon tea arrived I noticed that the sandwiches hadn’t been adjusted like I had pre requested upon booking. My husband is fussy and dosent like fancy sandwiches like smoked salmon so I suggested a few alternatives which they were happy to sort. The waiter sorted this out promptly and provided cheese sandwiches as a replacement for the 3 types that he unfortunately does not eat. The food was delicious, especially the scones! Part way through the food we became thirsty however it seemed like the team were short on the ground and we didn’t see the waiter for at least 45 minutes. When he returned he was more than happy to get us some more refreshments. After the meal we came across the same problem and ended up leaving the table and walking to reception to pay. Understandably Covid19 has played a big part in leaving the team low staffed. It does pay to look after you customers though as I felt disappointed we weren’t looked after to the best of the hotels ability (to not fault of the waiter as he seemed very busy) and it makes it less likely that we would return. Everyone likes to get there money’s worth and I feel that today wasn’t worth the money."
"A truly wonderful experience. The hotel is well appointed with all expected conveniences. There are some gorgeous lounge rooms to spend some time in. The staff are friendly and accommodating; nothing is too much trouble. I must mention Betty and Lucy specifically; they served me in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. They were a delight and enhanced the experience. The food was delightful and I can specifically recommend the pork belly. I will absolutely be staying here again. Sooner rather than later if I have my way."
"Following a booking with booking.com for 2, the hotel charged me extra, insisting the booking was only for 1. Then they put us in a room with a broken door with accessibility features which were better served for customers who needed it. Upon being given another room, we arrived to a barely working shower door, iron, kettle and a broken bathroom lock which my guest was locked in. In addition to this, we were made to feel like a nuisance for asking for new equipment for the room to replace the broken items. We had then visited the restaurant for the inclusive meal and upon arriving we were seated as normal and had an excellent service from Karina (the waitress) who knew the answers to all the questions we had asked without needing to consult anyone else. She would then visit the table to ask if we would like any drinks or further assistance. She then would recommend food from the menu if asked and made sure she was always happy. The chefs, I can quite easily say make everything they serve fresh and not frozen, best steak I have ever eaten. Very high quality chefs. It's the main hotel, for me, that brings down the score drastically because I have visited these types of hotels when I lived a couple hour's drive from Dubai and have seen the experience of when you are rich and it is completely different to when you visit as somebody who is 'poor' being on minimum wage and a 0 hour contract. The rich are catered for a lot more and from what I was seeing were in rooms away from the poor visitors. A customer review card was left to help them improve, it is pointless complaining about them if I'm not willing to complain to them so they know what the good and bad points were and how they can change them."
