"I was put up in this hotel for a month as part of being relocated for work. The staff was great at helping all of us in the hotel, and the get together's on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night were a wonderful chance to meet some of the other people in the hotel and be able to sample some good food and drinks. They made living out of suitcase waiting for all my stuff to be relocated as enjoyable as possible."
"I booked this location for my sweetheart . The company he works with are based in same town . Absolutely one of top 3 places Rodney has ever stayed with. Immaculate, caring employees, quite , spacious, inviting. The employees go out of their way to accommodate assuring happy stay. Local Mexican restaurant also had delicious food. 110 satisfactory. "
"This place is wonderful! There is a large group of us staying here during a workplace relocation and the staff here at the Residence Inn have gone above and beyond to make our long stay here very enjoyable. They even threw a 2020 super bowl party for us to make us all feel more at home. I can’t recommend this hotel more. 5 stars!"

"About 8:30 am I received electronic communication advising my room was ready and available for check in. (All prior communications and indications clearly stated check in time was later that afternoon) I was excited because we came to the city on an overnight flight from Los Angeles and we were exhausted. Upon arrival we were cheerfully and professionally greeted by Erin. She explained the property was sold out the prior evening and no rooms were available. I was traveling with my aunt and uncle who are 85+ years old. She recognized the weariness and disappointment they were experiencing. Mackenzie arrived at the desk and quickly offered them comfort as Erin searched for a room. Thank you Mackenzie for your attention and moving quickly getting water and spending time with my family. So many thanks for Erin’s tenacity and determination in finding a room for my uncle and aunt. She checked the computer system and communicated with several people. Erin found one room that would be available within a few minutes. We were so thankful as the room became available as Erin advised. The room was amazing. Beautiful, clean, comfortable. Uncle had difficulty using the Keurig... Eric immediately went to the room and assisted. Thank you Eric, there is nothing like someone with a helpful and pleasant demeanor assisting so quickly. Erin found a room for me just down the hall from my family within an hour. Oh my Thank you Thank you thank you. This room too was amazing...clean...well appointed...and comfortable. Crisp bedding, plenty of towels, adequate lighting, great shower!!! The refrigerator kept beverages super cold. The large microwave heated quickly. Bonus...USB outlets on the desk and nightstand!!! BONUS!! The hot breakfast was just what the doctor ordered. Breakfast meats, pastries, scrambled eggs, juices, fruit, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea... Yummy. I noticed they served after the scheduled end time as the comfortable breakfast area was still buzzing with families. Kudos to the staff. Our three night stay was so very comfortable. We spent one afternoon at the small indoor pool. Perfect place to relax. Our fourth floor rooms were very quiet. No outside noise invaded your space. You could not hear room doors opening and closing. You could not hear people in surrounding rooms. You could not hear people in the halls, the elevators, or the ice machine. The rooms were truly a sanctuary."
"I spent a couple weeks at this hotel. It is in a great location surrounded by lots of stores and restaurants that you can walk to in less than a minute. There is plenty of free parking. Check-in was easy. ROOM (#517 & #403) I was in two different rooms during my stay. The second day of the stay the room smelled of cigarettes. Someone from the front desk came up and commented how bad it was and sprayed some type of air freshener. That only made it smell like scented cigarettes. They also said other guests had been complaining. We moved to a new room on a different floor. The next day we were right back in the same scenario. The smoke seemed to be coming in through the bathroom fan ventilation. I called downstairs and complained. They said they would look into it. The next day, it happened again...and I called...and again. Nothing was ever done about it and I was told they cannot just go into guest rooms and check. I get the privacy issue...but I am am paying guest as well in a smoke free hotel. I was hoping me be a Titanium Elite with Marriott and assumably having high status would motivate them to take some sort of action, but it did not seem to. I also assumed since they could not remedy the problem they would offer some sort of compensation, but that wasn’t the case either. The smoke smell went on for over one week of the two week stay (about 2/3 of it). I found that closing the bathroom door would help contain most of the smell. Then it suddenly stopped...assumably the guest or whomever left the hotel. At one point an employee joked that it was probably us smoking and then complaining about it so they would not think it was us. I did not find that amusing. The room was nice and clean. There were 2 queen beds with 1 night stand, a desk and chair, sofa couch and ottoman, small dresser storage, closet with hangers and also shelves for clothes, iron and board, a small countertop with a coffee maker, a mini fridge, microwave, and a clock. There were 10 outlets and 8 USB plugs for electronics. The thermostat worked well. Oddly, there was no safe in the room for valuables. BATHROOM The bathroom was clean. There was a toilet, shower, sink with a little space, a hairdryer, and 2 outlets for electronics. BREAKFAST The daily breakfast buffet is not just for Marriott Elite. Everyone staying at the hotel gets free breakfast. They had scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage (1 time they had bacon and 1 Time they had a potato/sausage mix), yogurts, cereals, oatmeal, breads/bagels/muffins/English muffins/croissants, juices and coffee. GYM/POOL They had a small gym and an indoor pool but I did not have a chance to use them. OVERALL Overall the hotel was great and staff friendly. I really wanted to give them a higher ranking in the review, but I never saw any effort on their part to remedy the smoking issue and I got tired of complaining after the first few days. "We stayed here only one night unfortunately. We watched this place be built. We live right down the road. We stayed the night we sold our house. During covid they offer full breakfast, gym, pool, this place is doing it right! This is the first Marriott in all our 12-15 years with Marriott points that read our profile that says we want extra pillows and towels and had them waiting in our room! Thank you for an awesome stay! We tried booking you for our return to the area in a year and you are booked already:(. Whenever we come back to Virginia we’re staying here! Keep up the awesome job."

"Checking in the Desk Receptionist asked if I had stayed there before. When I replied that I had not but often stay at Hampton Inns. The Receptionist said "well...you know that we have freight trains. But if they bother you we have ear plugs!" The Hampton Inn is well located for access to I-66 and VA-29. Located in a major shopping area close at hand to many restaurants, Lowe's, Target etc. They do have freight trains, maybe two or three a night, but really not an issue. The hotel is clean and very inviting. The rooms were more than adequate and well cared for. Bedding linens and bath towels were fresh. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Large work out room and indoor pool. The buffet breakfast was better that most Hampton Inns and offered a great variety of fresh fruit, juices, eggs and breakfast meats, Not Bad! The rooms do have closets...open the wall mirror, near the bathroom. I stayed 5 days. Good value for the area. I was told the long term rates start at 30 days."
"I stayed at the hotel for one night. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very accommodating. I appreciated the late night cookies that were present when we came back from dinner. The only issue I had is the train that goes right by the hotel. I was not aware of that and it did wake me up and I had trouble going back to sleep. They did have ear plugs in the room. I now know why. If you stay here just request the side that is not near the train tracks. Lesson learned. "
"The review should be 4 1/2, I deducted a half a point because the freight train went by almost every hour after 10 pm. The train itself was okay it was the blowing of the whistle that woke me up. Other than that, the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. "

"I'll admit from the start I am a Hilton fan. I don't need top of the line, but Hampton Inns, Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inns usually make us very happy. The Springhill Suites was the best located for a recent trip and I have been wanting to try Marriott again anyway so we booked this location. From what I had read Springhill and Hampton Inns seemed to be on a par. While the room was comfortable and clean and the staff polite, I was disappointed. The breakfast is scrambled eggs everyday. My wife likes to have fresh fruit in the morning, but out of the four mornings we were there there was only one morning that there were a few whole apples and bananas offered. Every other day there was nothing. This location also seems to cater to alot of bus tours so getting into the breakfast area at all depends on if there is a bus tour leaving soon. My other dislike was the shower. This hotel seems to have been renovated recently but instead of putting in walk in showers they left the tub/shower combination. I guess some people still want to take baths, but this tub was very slippery. Add to that that Marriott has done away with giving you soap, shampoo and conditioner separately and now mount dispensers on the wall. While I applaud them on trying to cut down on waste, trying to use these dispensers while standing in a slippery tub was down right dangerous. While the location of this hotel fit perfectly with this and many future trips I will be driving the extra distance to a Hilton from now on"
"Spent one night there for a meeting in Centreville. The suite served our needs well. My criticism is that the bedroom with 2 queen beds did not have an open electrical plug close to the bed for my CPAP machine. The bed was comfortable. Having the sink in a space apart from toilet and tub/shower was nice. There were two good sized groups that were all down at the start of breakfast so the dining area was full. They did have adequate servings of scrambled eggs, ham and hot oatmeal for me along with juice and coffee. "
"Had a 2 day meeting there. The staff was very helpful, all was as ordered, and the sleeping rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Highly recommend, it's location is near to anything and everything you could want or need."

"My children and I stay at a Marriott every year to celebrate my husbands birthday. The lobby is beautiful but that’s about it . When I booked the reservation I made sure to let the reservation attendant know we were celebrating a birthday. I am a Gold member and was hoping for at least a happy birthday when we checked in... nothing. Also as a gold member you’re supposed to receive an automatic upgrade and bonus points ....again nothing. So we get to our room which is totally dated (except the bathroom). The fire alarm was beeping very loudly so we called the front desk to ask for someone to change the battery. At least 30 min went by and nothing. We couldn’t stand the noise anymore so called the front desk to tell them we were leaving the room because it was too loud. We then ordered food for pick up from the restaurant at 4:00pm. They said it would take 30 minutes so at 4:30 I went to pick it up and they informed me they never put the order in it would be another half hour. We ended up getting the food at 5:20! I wish I could say our bad luck ended there. After we ate the food we decided to order dessert and I was sure to mention that we were celebrating a birthday. They brought the desert up no candle no nothing and on top of that the order was not correct. I called to let them know and said not to worry about sending the correct stuff up because at this point we were just done. They assured me they would take it off my bill . We then went to take a shower and water was spraying out of the bathtub while the shower was running. We finally went to bed. When I checked out my bill was still not correct as they had not taken the dessert off. This is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had a Marriott especially one that is supposed to be so highly rated . So disappointed that the birthday celebration was less than adequate."
"We stayed at the Westfields Marriott in February travelling on business. When we got home we realized we left some items in the room. After calling and speaking with Christine Lacy we were happy to learn she had the items and she shipped them to us immediately. Christine was extremely professional and friendly and a pleasure to speak to. Thank you Christine and the Westfields Marriott for having such a gem as your Lead Loss Prevention Officer!"
"I stayed here for one night on a business trip and forgot a pair of Bose headphones in the room. Christine Lacy, Loss Lead Prevention Officer, was very prompt to locate the headphones and shipped them back to me across the country 2 day air at no charge! Great customer service and the quick response is very appreciated Christine!"

"Home2 Suites in Chantilly exceeded my expectations. Friendly and outgoing front desk staff was able to accommodate my request for an early check in. Rooms are large with a full size sofa, kitchen area with full size refrigerator, and a walk in shower. Very clean and looks like it’s brand new. Convenient to local restaurants, stores and gas. Location is a little far out, but it was convenient for our needs. Staff and cleanliness made this Home2 location one of my top 5 stays for this hotel chain. "
"The trip and stay was one my best to date, the staff even when arriving late managed my request in a timely manner. The blackout shades were an additional benefit because it allowed my family and I to sleep later then normal. We awoke and went to breakfast, all the normal items were to choose from. "
"Excellent service from start to finish. Quality breakfast. Quiet room with blackout shade and very comfortable bed. Well stocked supplies in the bathroom. There's a huge fire pit in the front. I would definitely stay here again. "

"I had to be in Manassas for work, but my wife accompanied me so that we could do some sight-seeing. The staff at the Hampton Inn were very friendly and helpful—especially when it came to finding good restaurants. The room and bathroom were what one would expect from that group of hotel—spacious, well-appointed and clean. Breakfast had some high and low points. High points: fresh pressed juices. We haven’t seen that for breakfast since we were in Siena! Great! Fresh fruit was available at breakfast and throughout the day—as was coffee. The low points were: the sliced melon and pineapple were always past their use-by dates! I had to spit them out. Also, as non-pork eaters, mixing pork with the eggs, hash browns, etc. made the cooked portion off limits for us. Also, no gluten-free bread, buns, rolls, etc. were available. These days that doesn’t make sense. The low points aside, the hotel is in a very convenient location. It has ample parking and friendly staff. We’d certainly stay there again."
"I have tried a few hotels on this street, just hundreds of feet apart. This Hampton Inn is not as new as the others, but I have settled on it as my favorite. The reason is how nice the staff is. The smiles at the front desk always seem genuine, over the years with different staff people. If I come down to buy a snack, more smiles. Come down for the free warm cookies, more smiles. At breakfast, the person cleaning up is very attentive and nice. I travel a lot and just feeling good being somewhere is something I have learned to appreciate."
"A short stay to break our return trip on 12/31/19. Hampton Inns are always reliable. Staff is personable and helpful and the breakfast is a big plus. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Can't ask for more at a great price."

"This is great motel with wonderful caring staff. Whenever you saw the manager, he would ask if everything was okay. The room was very clean which is a credit to the domestic staff. The breakfast was a great selection, and was different each day. Only complaint we had was the smokers at the side entrance of the motel, which was near our room & you could hear them talking. A great motel, one that we would recommend & shall definitely stay at again when in Manassas."
"Up to date and clean hotel, and probably the best value I’ve experienced (and I stay in many hotels). The quality of this hotel typically costs much more. (I paid $80/night). Very clean rooms; breakfast was typical (but good), and tea/coffee is always available in the lobby."
"The location is great for business or leisure. Close to Manassas Battlefield. Easy access to VRE and Amtrak and both I-66 and I-95. Great place to stay if you are going to a concert at Jiffy Lube Pavilion. We have been spending 2 weeks in September and October for the past 4 years for business. The hotel's best asset is it's personnel. "

"I visited this hotel in February for business. My husband and I had to travel during the Super Bowl weekend (GO CHIEFS, we are the CHAMPIONS). We let’s just say being a young girl living with roaches in early my life, I wasn’t prepared to sleep with ladybugs, either. I hear that ladybugs are “lucky” and if that’s the case, I hope to win the lottery in the near future. Chantilly Virginia was warmer than usual in February, and I think they were coming through the heater/air conditioning unit. The staff was amazing and moved me to another room but the lady (killers) bugs got worse, sure flying around during the day, but once they landed on me and my pillow, I had to leave. I was quickly refunded and moved to another hotel. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve stayed in various Hyatt Place hotels and they are nice, clean and a decent breakfast, not to mention a friendly staff. Maybe in the spring this hotel will spray for all bugs, but honestly, I just couldn’t deal with the headache. "
"The Hyatt Place Dulles Airport South is very conveniently located just off RT 28 in Chantilly, VA just a mile or so from I-66. Very easy to get to anywhere in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) region. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is fine. The hotel is located in a shopping area and is right next to a Texas Roadhouse steak house. There are several other restaurants and other services as well. Just across RT 28 from the hotel is a Wegmans grocery store and a number of other restaurants."
"I was looking for a pet friendly hotel for my visit. The hotel and all the staff went above my expectations. I will be staying here for every trip I take to this area. I traveled with my dog and the accommodations for her were amazing as well."
