"The worst Waldorf I have ever lived in, a hotel built in 1920, the location is good, there is a private beach, and it is very close to the southernmost landmark and the main street, within walking distance. But the room is very small, soundproofing is very poor, the air-conditioning sound has reached the level that affects the rest, the facilities are not well maintained, not the standard of an old five-star hotel"
"Very poor, 1,400 one-night hotel, no old, no breakfast, room equipment is similar to domestic three-star hotel, room is small, no slippers, no teeth, the most speechless is even hot water No, basically it is cool, can't take a bath, call the front desk often no one picks up, super so-called a so-called high-class hotel, and now waiting for the staff to see the hot water. . . . . I don't know when it will come."
"Excellent location, good service"

"This hotel is my favorite hotel in Florida. The hotel is not big, but the location is super good, just beside the sunset square. I was lucky enough to live in the best location of this hotel. The balcony is just outside the swimming pool and the Pacific Ocean. Invincible, I feel like I lived in the best location of the whole island. The room number is 316. If I can go to live, I can call to book this room. I will see the sun-filled bed and balcony in the afternoon. This feeling is so good, I regret that the itinerary arranged on this island is short."
"Overall very good, the room can see the sea, the scenery is beautiful, but can not see the sunset, downstairs is Mallory Square, a bit noisy, the pool can see the sunset at the beach, but the sunset is also on the island, can not see the sunset at sea, I don't understand why so many people want to watch the sunset here, a little disappointing... The restaurant is good, the service is very good, there is no free parking, only the valet parking, the charge is 25 knives, and the parking is subject to tipping."
"The environment is very good and the location is great, it is very suitable for watching the sunset, the service is also in place. It is expensive, you need to collect parking fees, holiday overnight fees, parking is the service staff to help you park to tip. It would be better to stagger the rainy season, otherwise the storm will not come out."

"Yikes. Just yikes from start to finish. The Gates hotel lobby isn't open so they send you to the hotel next door to check in - which means 200+ guests are checking in and asking for help at a desk with two employees. They never answer the phone, so don't expect to get help unless you stand at the desk in line. Our hotel room was literally just a motel room with a bandaid over it. There was a lot of visible rust in the bathroom and the tub drained so slow you took a shower in ankle-deep water (see them not answering the phone to know how that it never got fixed during our stay). The room was musty - and everything was damp, even with the AC on everything remained damp. There is no mask enforcement, the bartender at the pool bar would pull hers down to talk to you. Unless you are a college spring breaker who will be spending all of their time on Duvall - I would not book here and expect to have a relaxing or enjoyable stay."
"Having to check in at the sister hotel next door was somewhat annoying. The room was good however the cute barn door on the bathroom does not provide much privacy - looks cute but not efficient. The roosters and chickens were kind of annoying but understand their purpose! The light over every window shined in during the night - ugh! The pool and the bar was amazing! Dawn, Scharm and Jamie were excellent and so very friendly! The other guests were great and friendly as well! Good trip overall!"
"Although the hotel is not in the city center, there is a shuttle bus every half hour, which is very convenient. The front desk Lily is very friendly. Parking is free, the pool is good 👍"

"As a seasoned traveler we decided to check out key west and the Marker as we were hesitant to fly internationally due to recently imposed flight restrictions. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. The Marker is an outstanding hotel well located in Olde Town and right next to the harbor which has a wonderful boardwalk with everything- Bars, restaurants, shops and is a 4 min walk to Duval. The grounds are well kept, rooms are great and spacious, pool is heated and bar is awesome. Staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. Samantha at conceriege was helpful and accommodating and when we needed anything (especially towels which you really need every other day) the staff immediately brought them regardless of what time we called and requested. We would absolutely stay again. There were 2 drawbacks though in the spirit of being fair and balanced. 1- no housekeeping which we get but 6 days is way too long to not have the room cleaned 2- our room was perfectly situated on the first floor facing the pool with an nice balcony. However I can appreciate those who’ve stated the music from schooners could be loud if they were on the other side of the hotel facing the harbor. That bar is awesome btw but does play music into the late hours of the night. Again we didn’t mind but we weren’t right in front of the harbor so we’ were shielded by any noise or music. Well worth the money- not sure I would pay 1200 a night though as I saw the prices skyrocketed since we booked in January... Lastly the island is hopping. If you want to social distance this is not the place to go. We didn’t mind one bit being from an area that has been under strict restrictions for a year now. We believe the country needs to open up- one caveat here is Duval street where they are very strict about wearing masks on the street. We actually didn’t really go there more than twice because there was so much to do and see in Key West!"
"We returned from Key West about two weeks ago and stayed at the Marker, which I would best characterize as disappointing. We’ve stayed at Southernmost and Ocean Key in the past. We decided to give the Marker a try because of the location and it was a tad less expensive, as we only booked about a month before the trip. I regret my decision. I should have listened to other reviewers. Some good: -the location IS great. Convenient to everything. It’s nice that’s is close to the Marina area. We paid for ‘partial Marina view’, but that was kind of a Joke. Partial if we squinted around some trees and buildings and stood on tippy toes. -pool and bar/restaurant were pretty buzzing. Bartender was great and weekend afternoon live music was nice. Food was surprisingly good too! Wish you could see a ‘view’ from the pool. Disappointing: -there is ZERO housekeeping service. So be prepared to call every time you need anything. Sometimes multiple times. Our one tiny trash can was overflowing so I had to call 2x for a trashbag, bag it all myself, and wait hours for it to be taken. I’m sorry, but I think this is absurd. It’s ridiculous to spend upwards of $500 per night for a hotel and have to take out your own trash, Never have a bed made, or any perks of hotel living. I understand covid, but give me a break. I think it’s just an excuse to do as little as possible. They clean rooms to turn them for the next guest, so what’s the difference in cleaning while we are out during the day? - lackluster rooms...not impressed by furnishings or shared areas. -staff seemed annoyed to be there for the most part. (With the exception of the bartender at the pool. He was great!!) Not all that accommodating or eager to help. Not rude, just blah -way overpriced with few upsides. We will definitely be back to Key West, but we won’t be back to The Marker. "
"Great Location. Friendly Staff. Beautiful Pool Area. My wife and I wanted to get to warmer weather, and we like to walk to locations. This exceeded our expectations. Tucked in a corner by the harbor, it is a quick walk to Duval street and good restaurants and bars. Convenient parking under the hotel for those driving to Key West. Pool Bar was great and sufficient seating around the pool for all the guests at the time we were there. My wife likes the sun, and I preferred the shade on our nice balcony. The only downside was the music coming from the neighboring bar, but this quickly just became part of the atmosphere after the first night. They appear to be following good protocols to protect their staff and guests. This will definitely be on our list when we plan a return trip to Key West.."

"Great location and great property but the staff are rude. The front desk girl would rather flirt, have personal conversations and take smoke breaks all the time. Acted put off and annoyed when we had to ask for pool towels and towels for our room because they had them hidden away and not available for guests. The maintenance people were using leaf blowers at 8am outside of our room. The groundskeeper was very rude when we asked if the temperature in the spa could be turned down and was upset because the front desk lady told us to turn it down ourself. We found out they had it at 105 which is way higher than normal temp should be (104 max) and my husbands blood pressure went up. The property is great but the staff could use a cleaning."
"Quaint property in a great location of Key West. Staff was very helpful in showing us the room for a unique situation. The two bedrooms and one bath in a third room worked well for us. Good value for the location."
"Left a day early with Tropical Storm Eta coming in. The Inn still charged $100 per their Policy. Stated they only waive it in the event of a mandatory evacuation. Very unfriendly - had high risks due to storm arrival and we left anyway. Also had issues with Internet as well as lack of refrigerator. Breakfast could have also been better (both type of food as well as hours for breakfast (8:00-10:00am only)."

"Twenty minutes drive from the city center, there is a free bus, one hour an hour, it is more convenient to get to the city center, it may be because Key West is too small, the room is small, but the price is more expensive than Miami, parking charges. excellent service!"
"There is no hotel breakfast, the whole key west hotel price is not low, so this Marriott is also acceptable, at the beach, there is a beach, there is a parking lot, to charge, suitable for children, you can play in the pool"
"Nice hotel, with swimming pool and hot bath open 24 hours, facing the sea, breakfast is good, has its own restaurant, and band singing in the evening, clean and tidy"

"The nearest island to key west, 15 minutes to the southernmost point. The environmental facilities are very good, after all, the resort. But the focus is coming! ! Hotel crater, resort fee more than 30 dollars per night, mandatory. Said to be providing a pool, kayaking, wifi, I was really speechless at the time, and charged. The service attitude was very poor. I didn't care for the Chinese. I went to the room three times before I gave it to the room. It was not cleaned, but the old American stayed. Said to be a sea view room, too far from the sea, seeing the boats parked at the beach. This price is not worth it at all."
"The breakfast is particularly rich and the taste is especially good. Our sea view room has a living room and two double beds, barely able to see the sea, because the yacht has blocked the sea, but it is very clean and comfortable, the overall is still very recommended, cost-effective."
"The hotel environment is good, the first day to the hotel has been more than nine o'clock in the evening, I feel very happy to enter the room, a good experience. Standing on the balcony in the morning to feel the sun and the surrounding beauty, beautiful"

"We planned a long getaway weekend in Key West with a side trip to the Dry Tortugas (highly recommended). This was just after Tropical Strom Eta brushed the keys so I called the hotel and Dasha was very helpful and informative with our options, and we decided to continue with the trip. The hotel is in a perfect location on Truman near Duvall, and was very quiet. (Ok, so the roosters didn't get the quiet memo, but that's Key West.) The complimentary happy hour and expanded continental breakfast are nice touches and well done. The impeccably clean rooms are attractive, well appointed with amenities (including coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator), and updated with modern Key West décor. Kudos to housekeeping. What sets this inn apart is the friendly, welcoming management team. Trudy, Shannon, and Dasha were all warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I also have to say that the hotel's COVID-19 protocol is excellent, and great care for the protection of guests and employees is obvious. There is a reason this is one of the top hotels in Key West. We've stayed at one of the other top hotels, and much prefer Almond Tree Inn. We will be back."
"Me, my husband and our 17-year old daughter stayed here for 2 nights during our first trip to Key West and we all agreed we want to come back so we can spend more time at the Almond Tree Inn! You need to experience it to fully appreciate this little oasis perfectly located in the heart of Key West. Our room was beautiful and practical. There’s a sink/dressing area separate from the toilet and shower. The dressing area also has a door to separate it from the bed/living room which was nice. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool and had a table and chairs on the balcony with ceiling fans above which was a nice place to relax in the shade. The pool was the perfect temperature with a nice fountain, lush vegetation, many different orchids which made it feel like we were at a spa. Shout out to Dasha! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!"
"We stayed at Almond Tree Inn in 3/17, and, when we decided to return, it was the first place we checked for availability. We loved our first stay, and this one was just as enjoyable. The rooms are immaculate, attractive, and very comfortable. Because it is a smaller, boutique hotel, it is also quiet. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. You cannot beat the location—easy walking distance to all the main attractions and just off Duval but far enough away from the Mallory Square end to avoid the craziness. The staff can provide excellent information on restaurants as well as helping you with other plans while you are on the island. If we go back to Key West, we will absolutely be staying here once more."

"Deliberately set a sea view room for the family, the result is a little inconvenient in another yard, and it feels that there is no pool view room is beautiful, the sea view is indeed, it is recommended that you book a pool is good. The breakfast is good, not as bad as I imagined. There are two kinds of burgers made by Bego, coffee and milk yoghurt, waffles and snacks are also good. I feel very satisfied as a free breakfast, that is, the restaurant is not big, there are many people. There is no place at the time."
"The cheapest room booked was upgraded to the most expensive ocean view room for free. It's a good deal! The view is super good! Free breakfast and a free glass of wine a day. Lunch and dinner at own expense are not expensive. The hotel has a free shuttle to Key west old town, which is very convenient."
"The hotel is being renovated. It’s okay to have a full breakfast. The smell of the room is probably related to the wetness of the sea. It’s very close to the airport but it’s quiet because there are fewer flights. Finally, it reminds the room that there are little bugs that are not easy to detect. Got bitten a lot of bags"
