Top 10 Marinella Hotels

Unfortunately, this stay has not really met our wishes! The hotel has as its own rule set a “bad cap obligation” that means if you want to use the pool you have to wear a bath cap (including children) which you have to buy in addition for 5 euros (!!!)! The reason for the hotel is that it must be for hygienic reasons! But I have never experienced this in my life and the pool is cleaned every day. Furthermore, the hotel animator could go in with her connected hair (without bath cap) - we were refused to visit our guests. That makes no sense for me. The pool is further blocked during the Siesta! With a cordel around the pool and all the screens and everything are closed and cleaned. Even so I have never experienced! For me, just the Siesta is there something to cool for. It's okay for me if one says that in this time, the intrusion takes place at its own risk because there is no supervision but blocking I find absolutely overdone. Except during the Siesta, there was a DJ and an animation team all the time and the music/animation was so noisy that we couldn't even conduct a normal conversation at the other end of the pool. That was absolutely not suitable for us.

The facilities were lovely. But the real essence of the experience is the staff. Ignazio, Marcello for front desk and guest experience are amazing. Giovanni and Alberto at the Agora restaurant- for breakfast, lunch and dinner are both wonderful people who have a heart to serve others. Thank you Giovani and Alberto for your kind and thoughtful service - your experience and heart shine! Christina the massage therapist is a wonder! So much experience, care and loving go into her technique and care for everyone as an individual. Her warmth as a person is lovely and she has enormous experience which makes a massage session with her divine.
