One Bay Drive, Kapalua, Hawaii, United States
"We spent most of 2020 rescheduling our annual Maui visits, but jumped on a plane mid November, about a month after Hawaii launched the pre-travel testing option to avoid quarantine. We are based in Austin, Texas and unfortunately, many of the state approved testing options were simply not available, nor would comply with the 72 hour requirement. So, we opted for an at-home lab test 'Let's get checked' and we had our results within 24 hours. I'm not sure if that is standard or if we were just lucky, but the turnaround was impressive. Many of you might be asking, is the process and testing worth the trouble? I can only share our experience, but in short, yes. Once you have the process in action and test results pending, or in hand, it's really quite easy. (I will caution you, HI approved testing partners are required, and they take this very seriously. You will find yourself in quarantine, or back on a plane returning home if your test does not comply. Read the fine print, and make sure the approved labs are actually approved for your state.) Upon arrival, the check in process at the airport very efficient and fast. Jumping through the Hawaii hoop is a little tedious the first time, but once you are through it, it's really not that bad. We own a fractional at the Montage Kapalua and spend about 4 weeks per year on island, at our Montage Maui home. It is always a pleasure and a privilege returning to the Montage. The positive experience begins the second we pull into the driveway and are greeted by the valet staff and front-of-house. Very 'aloha' and welcoming. The extra support continues to check-in where we are always greeted with a bottle of bubbles or something welcoming in our condo. We are relatively new Montage owners, but our unit is always impeccably sorted, clean and in great shape. The housekeeping staff services the units twice per day, which is very nice. The housekeepers learn your habits and will accommodate requests for the best time for room servicing, also very nice. The Montage grounds are always equally sorted and just gorgeous! There is nothing like the view from this property. My first visit to Maui was actually in Kapalua where I stayed at the old Kapalua Bay Hotel (circa early 2000's) which rested on the Montage property. The old hotel was flattened to make space for the Montage at Kapalua Bay. The views remain unchanged from years past, but the new property is a major improvement as the old hotel was losing it's classic shine and charm. The Montage staff throughout the property from the Hideaway lounge to the pool staff are all fabulous. Covid19 has been difficult on the locals, so there is extra aloha extended as they are very happy to see returning travelers. I've previously reviewed the Montage, so I'll spare some of the traditional details, but will say that we have found everything to be 100%, 5 star and just as the property was on our first visit.... Regarding Ownership: If you"
"The Montage at Kapalua was pristine - from the service, to the room, food, spa, pool and beach as well as the property itself. While visiting during the pandemic the hotel ensured that cleanliness was consistent - safety was a priority and client service was EXCELLENT!! Anna our concierge was amazing and booked everything for us on and off the property. She was enthusiastic, professional and courteous and responsive in every way. At the Montage the team’s focus is making sure you have a first rate experience. If you are going to Maui - this is the place to stay - it is elegant and refined. We’ve stayed at other resorts on Maui but this is the one that we will always stay at going forward. The location, service, amenities and the room is unsurpassed (huge with full kitchen and sub zero refrigerator, dishwasher, big dining table, full living room, wine refrigerator, walk in closet, 2 bathrooms, amazing bedroom, beautifully decorated with first rate finishes and an impressive balcony). I felt guilty not using such a beautifully appointed kitchen. We are in property and off each day and evening. You can reserve adjacent rooms easily to adjust the configuration for a family stay. This vacation at the Montage at Kapalua was the best - you will be thankful to experience all this resort has to offer."
"We have stayed at the Montage on three separate occasions and there is no better hotel in the world in my opinion. The resort is absolutely incredible and the service is even better! Individuals like Misti and Ben at the front desk will make sure they take care of everything you need with lightning speed. The food is absolutely incredible & the amenities are the best I have seen. The spa and workout center are second to none & the pools and poolside service is exceptional. The rooms are amazing on every level & the views from every room are sensational. I don’t think you can ever go wrong staying here. We will be sure to return to the Montage every time we are in Maui and we appreciate everything they do to make our stay memorable!"

"The room does not include breakfast. If you want to enjoy the hotel breakfast, you will be charged 35 knives per person. Valet parking costs 30 knives per day and is included in the room rate; Invisible consumption has not been negotiated: the scenic fee is 35 knives per day."
"Breakfast is average, with at least two children in an extra bed. The hotel is located on the northwest side of Maui Island, almost at the end of the highway (there is no attraction at the back of the road. Parking is valet parking, $30 one day"
"This is a deluxe ocean view room for two nights on December 27 and 28. The average room per night is more than 8,500 yuan. :( Very speechless 😓 The hotel explained that standing on the balcony overlooking the sea can see the sea, really, we have to lift our toes."

"First off we have been an owner for over 5 years and absolutely enjoy this place when we can use it. This is one of the best properties on Maui in one of the best locations. Staff and service are great, amenities are awesome rooms are gorgeous. That said it is frustrating process to reserve your unit. When you purchase in the Hyatt Residence Club you purchase a specific week which is a huge perk over the Marriot and other timeshares where your week is not a given. Still the process is such that you still have to reserve your week 6 months prior to using it. Should life get in the way and you miss your reservation opportunity, you are out of luck for your week. We purchased one of the most popular weeks at the Hyatt Residence Club and paid significantly more for that week than others available. Now, totally our fault - but we did not reserve our week within the reservation period; with Covid we weren't sure we would be able travel during our week, but eventually decided we might as well reserve it and wait and see what the travel limitations are as the date nears. That said once we had made the decision to go ahead and book the trip we simply forgot when our reservation period ended. We were notified by email on the evening our reservation date ended, we called first thing the following morning as soon as the reservation office opened and learned our unit had already been handed over to someone else. Now this is a very popular week but I find it hard to believe that between the time the office closed and the office opened the next morning that our week had already been given to someone else. Rules are rules, I get why they exist, I had been fully aware of the process when purchasing, and had been successful reserving our week in previous years, but it is still frustrating that a little leniency and priority wouldn't be given to owners who own their actual week. Its not like we changed our mind weeks or even days after our reservation period, we called the first moment they were open following the close of our reservation period. Of course I am just upset at this point but we paid a premium for that week, any week that we end up with is going to be a lesser value than the week we own and they do not offer compensation for that. Further, I know from others experience that trying to book a different week than the one you own is not easy, you have to be very flexible with your dates. Bottom line you purchase a timeshare for the convenience and ease of travel and this type of red tape leaves a bad taste in ones mouth when contemplating further timeshare ownership."
"I had a perfect stay at the Hyatt Residences Club in Maui. Cy Gabourie and Kimberly Brown went out of their way to put me in a beautiful suite. The view was amazing, and I had the happiest 10 days of my life so far! The entire staff here is absolutely wonderful, the grounds are immaculate, and the beach is the finest in the world!"
"Never felt more welcomed anywhere else I have stayed . Staff went out of there way to please me and my family.Staff appear truly happy to go out of there way for us as guest.Got every question I asked answered quickly and was given other opinions if what I asked could not be filled. A definite great place to take your on vacation"

"The facilities are a bit old, need to pay an additional parking fee of 43 knives a day, and the parking lot can not stop by themselves, the car can not be taken by themselves, the cost of the room restore is also to be received, if there is a fire alarm, all evacuation."
"The hotel has a good environment. A fire alarm made everyone abandon the building and run away. They were also drunk. There are some businesses around to drive for a few minutes. Parking is charged extra. The cost of restore is also charged extra."
"The scenery is beautiful, there are several hotels connected to the coastal beaches, and the fire clouds at night and the islands on the opposite side are beautiful."

"Good location, right on the "Black Rock" beach. The hotel floor is not high, up to 6 floors. You can see the sea view from the third floor or above. The sixth floor is better. According to the American breakfast, it is not bad! On the right hand side of the hotel (the left hand side from the beach) there is a "complex" within 10 minutes, where you can buy and eat. Parking is opposite the hotel (actually connected) with its own parking garage, free on the first day, in and out of the brush room card. The second day seems to be around 25 (calculated on the hotel bill or directly from the card on the second day). I drove into the garage and parked on the second and third floors (platform). The following is for the hotel to help the store guests to park (he will help you stop collecting more than a few knives)."
"The hotel is next to the black reef in the famous snorkeling area of Maui. There are many hotels on the whole coast, but if you want to snorkel here, I am not very recommended... there are too many people... the hotel is indeed a four-star level, health and service. Said the past. For parking, the first day of valet parking is free, and it seems that you have to pay afterwards. I personally think that if the economic conditions permit, it is recommended to live in the south of Maui, the Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria and other hotels. The overall star rating and level of hotels near the Black Reef are relatively low, and it is also far from the road to Hana."
"No breakfast, twin beds can be about 1.35 meters wide per bed, suitable for children, there is a paid parking lot, free on the first day, the next day starts 24 dollars a day. There is a fat woman from Marion, check in when the sea view room to the corner room, pay attention!"

"I am setting a one-bedroom villa with sea view, the hotel facilities are very good, and it is also very suitable for a family vacation with children. As you can see, you can book the scenery in Ctrip. You can see the sea by the window, and it is blocked by the leaves. Sight, a room cost of nearly 6,000 yuan a day, oh... The room is very dark all day, no black light, giving a 5-story room, 6-story or above is very good, beautiful Kaanapali beach"

"This hotel in Maui is really wonderful. Except for a little later. There are too many advantages: the hotel upgraded my two-bedroom room. Surprise! The hotel is equipped with washing machine, dryer, microwave, oven, hob, fridge. Just go buy some spices. You can make Wellington steaks. The hotel pool is large and has its own beach. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Lahaina. One hour a day! There is a barbecue outside the hotel and you can prepare your own ingredients for a barbecue. The air conditioning in the hotel aisle is super cold, super cold, super cold! Disadvantages: It may be because the room is on the first floor, and all the mosquitoes in my room! Super, more, more, more, more! ! ! However, the air conditioner is lower, and basically does not bite. It is very cautious to look at. Let's talk about Lahine's Ole, the discount is the same as Ouhu, but there is no superposition of UnionPay. If you need to buy something, go to Ouhu. It’s much cheaper. I lost 100 knives because I didn’t hold back. Finally, the resort fee is 25/night, parking by yourself, 15/night plus tax, valet parking 20/night plus tax. The report is completed."
"The experience was good. The hotel is located on the north beach of kaanapali. The rooms are large and full of facilities. The environment inside and around the hotel is very relaxing. Easy to travel, we learned that there is a Times supermarket within a 7-minute walk from the hotel, although we did not go there later; there is a free shuttle bus to visit Lahaina town. If you have any questions about play, you can consult the hotel concierge. You may find it unpleasant to dine in the hotel because it is Western food, but you can actually order white rice, and you can buy rice and vegetables in the hotel to cook in the room. It's a great resort."
"Have a kitchen and do it yourself and enjoy Hawaiian cuisine. The hotel is a resort hotel, suitable for parent-child travel, there is a supermarket within 10 minutes driving, there is a small supermarket in the hotel. The hotel can park on its own, charge per day, or stop for parking, which requires 5 more knives."

"There are folding sofas for up to four people. There are microwaves, coffee makers, refrigerators, plates and bowls. No toothbrush or slippers. The living room ants found the living ants, very small, dead ants found on the sheets and pillows, and began to think it was a small black thread. The scenery is still very beautiful."

"The breakfast was great, it was excellent, the restaurant was very beautiful, and there were various swan waterfowls. There is a parking lot, it is not free, you can park your car for yourself, and it is relatively convenient to avoid the trouble of tipping. The view from the parking lot is also very good and worth yo. There are also some small shops downstairs where you can buy some souvenirs. The only downside is that the beach area is limited. When you walk deeper, you will encounter many large rocks, which are not suitable for ordinary people to swim in the sea."
"The location and environment of the hotel is good, with a beautiful beach. An extra bed is available for children. It ’s clean and hygienic. When we checked in, there was a lot of ash on the table lamp. I wiped it myself. There were sticky things on the table. It was also us. Z j j"
