1 place Victor Hugo, Cour-Cheverny, Centre-Val de Loire, France
"The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, with a very helpful, friendly English speaking staff. The dining room is spacious and comfortable, with great food (hey, it's France). Our room was on the small side but perfectly comfortable and efficient. The room was quiet, thanks to sound-proofing and the fact that there wasn't much activity out in the street. The location is in a small, sleepy town (you have to get used to the French propensity to close businesses in the middle of the day and to close restaurants pretty much at random for "vacation")."
"We were in the Blois region for a day (afternoon and morning), and chose this establishment for its proximity to many castles. The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean, and the parking is safely tucked away behind the hotel. We also had dinner there and loved our meals! The hotel is about 20 minutes from the chateau de Blois, and 10 minutes away from Chambord. We didn't see Cheverny as we were short on time, but if we do come back to the region, we'll definitely try to stay here again."
"Hotel with clean and sizeable room located near Chateau de Cheverny. Has a decent in-house restaurant serving various local wine. Friendly check in service. Note: check in time is at 4pm, so your room might only be available then. Tips: go to Cheverny early, check in without physically go into your room and leave your luggages at the hotel. The closest chateau is Cheverny. Drinking water and thermo flasks are available at the seating area in front of the check in counter. You can bring the thermo flask with you to your room. Wifi: ask for the passwords from the front desk. Free wifi available but the connection is a bit erratic and unreliable especially towards evening when mosts guests are back from Chateau visits. Breakfast: Really nothing much. Service is slow with what seems to be only one waitress serving the whole restaurant. "
