Reviews From Real Travelers
The location is very good, just across the street from Princeton University for shopping and dining, and it is convenient to walk to most buildings of the university, including the Art Museum (you must check in here, because of the rich collection, especially Chinese cultural relics, you should check in repeatedly). Check in to a 20% discount card for a restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast can also be discounted. It is a historic restaurant with good service. The hotel service is very good, but it is really a bit old, the bathtub is slippery when stepping into it, so I have to hold on to the railing. There are two blocks in the lobby, one without guests passing through. It is great to have a rest and talk about things. After leaving the room, sitting there with luggage and waiting for someone to fall asleep (jet lag) and no one would interfere.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Great grounds and a nice restaurant on site. Parking can be difficult but there are two parking garages they are associated with that kind accommodate you. Rooms are adequately sized and very clean. If I’m the area, will stay again.

Nice stay for 2 business nights in August. Convenient location with plenty of parking. Lobby was clean and bright. Front desk staff was friendly and engaging. Room was clean and fresh and didn't have any unusual smells. The breakfast was really good. My only issue was the AC in the room which didn't work effectively. After responding to the manager's check-in email someone came and attended to the AC, but it did not work any better. This is probably the best BonVoy property in the area.

The environment is very good, the surrounding is very quiet, there is a steak house and foodcount nearby for dining, the room is very quiet, clean and tidy, and the service is warm!

The location is excellent, the surrounding Unicom and travel are very convenient, the hotel is very cost-effective Advantages: The room is elegant and generous, simple and heavy decoration, and has a strong sense of history. The facilities in the room are complete, with everything you need. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious
- ETS_China
Hotel location is very good, facilities are a bit old, but the service is general, especially room service, just staying for a few days, the waiter cleans the room and always forgets the daily consumption of the room, not forgetting the shower gel or forgetting the shampoo or nothing, and I The rooms are always cleaned during our nap.

The hotel has been in business for seven or eight years. The hardware and software conditions are good. I have lived several times. The price is high. The Western style has been good.

Hotel service is attentive. There are breakfast and afternoon tea, although there are not many varieties, it is not bad to eat around the hotel. There is a canteen downstairs, you can choose more. The room is large, with kitchen utensils, and you can buy it yourself.

I stayed at Element Ewing as at long term guest so I have a long window of observation. Many times I been woken up in the night by noise from drunk and unruly guests who were yelling and swearing at each other for hours in the night in the corridor & the parking. Just two days ago 3 police cars arrived to fix the situation and the cops were here for more than an hour. On Fridays and Saturdays I have heard youngsters partying loudly all night without care for other guests in the hotel. On the upside, the Frontdesk and the cleaning staff are highly professional and always nice to talk to, but don't expect the front desk to do much about the guests' noise problem except for a polite ”sorry”. Don't be surprised if you see stink bugs (squash bugs) or yellow jackets as your co-guests. In my bathroom, the cabinets had heavy water damage and their veneer had peeled off, but the shower stall is fine. Hotel advertises an indoor swimming pool but the pool always has a Closed sign. Often one of the two elevators is not working, and on two occasions guests have been trapped in the elevator. Also the elevators sometimes smell of ****. A new warehouse construction is starting right next to the hotel, so expect construction noise during weekdays in the coming 6-12 months. The amenities in the room are generally fine, except that my computer chair broke and I fell on the floor. I was in pain for several days. So lean back on the chair carefully. The hotel's lounging area and breakfast sitting is nice, the wifi is good and the morning breakfast is ok. Interestingly, the hotel also offers 2 bikes for use by guests.

Reviews From Real Travelers
Stayed here one night and all I can say is that it was okay. The room was pretty big, the bathroom was pretty nice, and the bed and pillow was comfortable. But walking into the hotel, it feels like I've time traveled back to the 90s. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the restaurant to the rooms, is in dire need of some serious refurbishment. The elevators are at least 30 years old and are extremely slow. There is also just one elevator for the South Tower and we had to use the service elevator instead since it was much faster. Service was pretty meh. We were able to check in at 10AM which was nice but I didn't get the lake view room that I originally booked. Understandable, since I checked in early. But there was no acknowledgement from the lady at the check-in desk of my IHG membership - not so much as a thank you (frankly she seemed extremely disinterested). As a Platinum Elite I got 600 points as a welcome amenity, but this was communicated through an email instead of at check-in. Disappointing, but whatever. Our room was missing a bedsheet and the mattress cover had these horrible and disgusting stains on them. I called the front desk to let them know but since the housekeeping staff all went home, the best they could do was to give us fresh bedsheets which I put on myself. At least they were clean. Also, this is a conference hotel so I would expect a fair number of business travelers staying here, therefore the lack of adequate outlets/charging ports in the room was somewhat perplexing. The mini-fridge was extremely loud and emitted this high-pitched noise when it was on. The toilet was even louder - every time you flush it sounds like a rocket was launched. Breakfast at the restaurant was $20 per person for food you'd expect to see served complimentary at a Holiday Inn Express. Overpriced and subpar. The bacon was stone-cold. At least the service was great. All in all not the best Crowne Plaza I've stayed at. It was sufficient for one night, but I would not stay here any longer than that.

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I would. I’ve stayed in this hotel many times over the past 2 years. Sadly, I misplaced my favorite and only pair of seeing glasses in this hotel last summer. Even worse, the package became lost in the mail and never arrived to me. The amazing house keeping staff, front desk staff, front desk manager, and general manager all put in their absolute best efforts to help find my glasses, but unfortunately they became lost mail. Although the situation was completely out of their hands and they were not at fault, they did not stop there. The hotel helped me purchase new glasses to replaced my lost ones. I have never experienced better customer service. If you are comparing other hotels to this one, do not bother just stay here! Wonderful customer service, clean rooms, amazing stay!

I travel monthly to Princeton for work. I figured it would be a good idea to get to know the more convenient “recommended” hotels and this one is by far my favorite. Sure the Hyatt in Carnegie Center has a beautiful lobby, it also overbooks their rooms, has uncomfortable beds and pillows, horrible views and staff who could care less. Princeton Marriott at Forrestal is known of those things. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and you get what you book. The views are lovely and have a secluded vibe. Could not recommend this one more. At this point I’ve tried all at least once and this one is my favorite!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. We were traveling back home from Maine and stopped here. Front desk staff were kind, dining option on site (and close to many other food options if you choose to go offsite), nicest hotel gym I've seen in a while (treadmill, elliptical, bikes, free weights, and stationary weight machines). There is ample parking too. We got a room with double beds. Bathroom is nice and spacious. Shower is nice. Everything was clean!

I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, and as such I like to stay in different properties throughout the portfolio. Needing a place to stay in the Trenton area, I found this Homewood Suites. The suite I reserved was much more than what I needed, but I was treating myself after a long train trip (and before another one the next day). As usual I checked in online the day before and chose the room. Upon arrival, I visited the front desk and was treated cordially and my status was recognized. The suite was huge, with three rooms each with its own TV and easy to use climate control. I only used the bathroom of the King bed suite, and it had ample counter space for my toiletries and no issues with hot water. I got a good night of sleep and was well rested to continue my activities away from home. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

We decided to have a mini vacation with grandkids. The keyless entry didn’t work so I was issued the key card.My reservation notes asked for an allergy free room and no feather pillows. Well we had two down pillows on the bed. While I was checking in I say a gentleman with 2 dogs. Of course I inquired if they’re were certain rooms for pet owners and I was told No.So now I’m annoyed because my grandson was allergy tested in February and among a few other things Pet hair is on his list. Had I known the whole place is free range except the eating area and pool. I would’ve cancelled my reservation. I guess I didn’t get the memo on truly what pet friendly meant. The pool , basketball court, corn hole, sitting areas we enjoyed. In the afternoon was a very nice young lady( Destine) with a great smile she was very helpful. Keep up the good work, not everyone has great customer service skills.
