20 Bayard Lane, Princeton, New Jersey, United States
"I enjoyed my stay at the Peacock Inn, which I chose because it was very close to the Princeton campus, and walkable to the Firestone Library, where I wanted to do research. My stay was immediately after graduation and reunion weekend, so I believe I benefited from lower rates and smaller crowds. The hotel was quiet and the staff very friendly. I had a few little nit-picks, and because it was a small hotel, and likely had a smaller staff because of a quieter time, I did not make a big deal of things like a problem with my TV remote control device. I had very nice (not cheap) breakfasts, but was in a mode of wanting to pamper myself. The hotel may have issues regarding accessbility (not an issue for me, but might have been if I had been with my late nusband. A good place to stay to be close to campus and interesting Princeton restaurants, but if you need a place to work, a more utilitarian place with desk space may be better. I was not managing a car, but took Lyft from the Princeton Junction train station. Again, had very nice interactions with the staff; if you want a lot of bell staff, etc., this is more like a B&B. But Location, Location, Location"
"The hotel is one of the most beautiful ones I ever saw in my whole life. Its rooms are so comfortable, with an incredibily soft bed and a bathroom that has everything you can ask for. The external parts and interiors are astonishing as well. It looks like it comes from another age and you feel like a king in your own kingdom. Only negative things of my stay were that the breakfast was absolutely no big deal/disappointing (waiter also looked kind of unprepared to me, as he didn't know the hotel could make cappuccino and espresso coffee) and the fact that receptionist forgot to give me back my credit card after checking in and I left the hotel without it (it was my fault also that I didn't realize that, but I checked-in after 14 hours traveling and I just wanted to go to sleep)."
"Everyone from the Valet to the Housekeeping was a pleasure. There is a nice laid back feel to this well decorated and comfy B and B style hotel. Nicely located within town, and extremely charming. Bartender, Server, Front desk and Restaurant Manager all went above and beyond to make our stay one we will not soon forget. Wondering if the kitchen had an off night because it did not line up with the rest of the top notch experience, so looking forward to giving it another try."

800 Route 130, Hamilton, New Jersey, United States
"Travelers can rely on Hilton Garden Inns to be lovely and affordable, but this hotel exceeded expectations. The ambiance of this hotel was impressively warm and embracing, as was the staff. The decor is a perfect combination of modern and cozy, with inviting furnishings and lighting. There are plenty of welcoming spaces with clusters of comfortable furnishings for groups or families to gather indoors or outside (with a fire pit). During my stay I noticed people coming together in these areas, whereas in many hotels people tend to go out. There is an in-house restaurant, bar, and free beverages and fruit in the lobby 24/7. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff worked hard to keep things fresh and replenished. The indoor pool, hot tub, and exercise room were appealing, although I didn't have time for them. There was, of course, a business suite with computers and a printer as well, and I did use that. Every part of the hotel was meticulously clean, from the room to the meeting spaces and public restrooms. I had made a booking mistake that caused a billing error, but manager Lori Oberg took care of it immediately. She personally elicited feedback about the facilities and staff to ensure that my stay was optimal. This was a business trip, but if I visit Six Flags or anywhere else near this hotel, I will definitely be back."
"The staff at this hotel is absolutely incredible! I have traveled many places and have never experienced the level of service I received at this hotel. As soon as I checked in after a long day of traveling, Priscilla was a friendly face offering to help with each request! Throughout the stay, Lori (manager) and Missy (facilities) went out of their way multiple times to accommodate requests for extra space for our large group to congregate, and always so polite and very very nice. Nicole was always happy to greet you as you came in! Keith, who works the desk in the morning was so amazing and helpful and helped solve a last minute problem during my stay! The level of service from this staff leaves me considering flying across the country just to stay there again! Totally recommend this hotel! "
"I was at this hotel as part of a very stressful series of certification exams. The staff seemed to go over and above to ease nerves and make me feel comfortable and welcome. The front desk was super friendly AND understanding of my rush & nerves, the breakfast buffet had an excellent selection of hot (eggs made to order, meats, potatoes, grits, gravy, and oatmeal), baked (biscuits, french toast, muffins, bagels), fresh fruits, and lots of fresh coffee, and I felt very at home in the comfortable and large (but cozy) lobby, and the bar had a nice selection of adult beverages and yummy dinner/snack choices. "We stayed 2 nights while on vacation with family friends. Alpa Desai (GM) & Brandon Hyman (AGM) and their team are very helpful, always cheerful and efficiently checked us in & out. The hotel and guestrooms were recently renovated and upgraded to new Hampton standards with comfortable bedding."

"This hotel is unexpectedly good. Free breakfast and free dinner every day, the front desk is nice. This time, a suit was sent for washing, but I didn’t get it at night because the laundry was wrongly sent to another hotel. Fortunately, I planned to check out one o'clock the next day. The hotel has been trying to communicate. The laundry went to the hotels where they served, and found it. I found it at 12:30 and I sent it back before I checked out. . In the process of finding, the general manager of the hotel made a decision, returned the room and laundry fees I had paid, and promised to find the clothes and they sent the postage back to me. A small hotel in a Samsung and a half can be very moving, and it is in line with the service positioning of the family at home. The restaurant also has a special decoration for Valentine's Day. The hotel is a ten minute drive from Princeton. The local car is called lyft and the driver is very good. A shared computer and printer are open next to the front desk. The indoor pool is also kept open and other guests are invited to use the massage pool."
"Very nice hotel, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast and dinner are quite rich. However, in the event of an emergency, about 10 o'clock in the evening, the alarm sounded loudly. Everyone had to evacuate. It turned out that the kitchen on the first floor was on fire. Finally, the hotel arranged us to arrange the Marriott hotel next door."
"Have stayed here a few times, the front desk is very kind and the breakfast is good in the local area. Convenient, free parking. The only dissatisfaction is that it is very difficult to get to the main road in the morning at work. It took nearly twenty minutes and it was almost too late"

The March to May spring and September to November autumn are warm, cozy, and good for being outdoors. Bringing along a light jacket is advisable due to the huge morning and night temperature difference. July to August are relatively warmer, and the beaches are particularly popular; do bring along something to prevent the burns. Come winter in November to March, the weather would be noticeably colder and snowstorms or blizzards are frequent, and therefore outdoors activities are inadvisable. The December climate is really cold and it is strongly suggested that you bring along winter clothing.
