"My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend since we were going crazy staying at home in Pennsylvania due to Covid -19. We used our certificates for a two night stay at the residence in Frederick Md. and were happy we did. We took our bikes and biked the C&O towpath from Brunswick to Antietam and also toured Harpers Ferry. The towpath and Harpers Ferry were under 30 minutes from the hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and we felt 100% safe. Our room had been sanitized and tape had been placed over the door and dishwasher so we we certain no one had been in the room after it had been cleaned. The beds smelled clean! The staff followed protocols and were all wearing masks and stayed 6feet apart. We were able to enjoy outdoor activities during the day and found out door dining at night. A very enjoyable get away during a difficult time. Highly recommend this hotel."
"My wife and i enjoyed a great getaway from nearby Rockville. We were greated by a great staff, had a comfortable suite and enjoyed a great time in Downtown Fredrick. What a great food city. We had a memorable dinner at Isabellas and finished off the night at Brewer's Alley. Great Fall getaway right in our backyard."
"This is a very nice Residence Inn. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and there is a nice pool area. The 2 br suite has plenty of space and a fireplace. It is a good location with plenty of dining options within a short drive. Only complaint is that like all Residence Inns the beds aren't super comfy."

"The breakfast was simple. I can't brush UnionPay, I don't have Visa, I can only cash it out. It's also convenient to get cash, and the handling fee is cheaper than the airport exchange."

"I have stayed at this property several times on business and my wife and I stay here when we visit our daughter in Fredrick. There are 6 girls in my daughters family (counting her) and I am outnumbered when we stay at her house, therefore the HGI. We have always had outstanding service from this location. The breakfast is always above average in quality and quantity is not a question. The dining room staff is always attentive and the chef remembers us from previous stays even when it has been months. Housekeeping is accommodating with type of service and efficiency.. "
"Customer service was excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. Accommodations were pristine! I had planned on raising early the next day to avoid the traffic on I95 South, however the room was so luxurious that I decided to sleep in and enjoy the comfort."
"I would recommend a stay here. Staff are superb. The dinner was great and the Batman / waiter was very attentive. Can’t say enough about the cheeseburger flat bread. We will definitely be going back if we are anyway nearthe area. "

"This place is a good location for fast food restaurant, gas stations and access to the interstate. Did offer breakfast bags if you did not want to leave for breakfast. Pool was open at this time also but did not use. Their pillows are horrible so make sure you bring your own! Room was nice and clean and big enough for 4 people. There could have been a little more lighting in the room. I had upgraded my room on another travel website and they stated it did not show in their system. I contacted the travel website to help me get this problem straightened out and Hampton Inn still claimed they could not see it. Was not able to get the upgrade because of all the hoops I would have had to jump through to satisfy Hampton Inn's system. Even though I did not get the upgrade after all, my credit card sure was charged for the upgrade. If it would not have been for the travel website I was using, I would not have gotten a refund on the difference. The front desk clerk, Joann, did not care about the situation nor did she want to help. A couple of the employees acted like we were bothering them when asking questions. Not sure if I would stay here again after my experience. "
"The Hampton Inn was less than two miles from downtown Frederick. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was clean and quite large. The hotel seems very new. We had to cut our stay short due to some family issues but I would definitely consider staying here in the future."
"From the time I checked in to check out, everything was as it should be. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and made the overall stay very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice selection. "

"We stayed at this hotel for nine days in Nov 2019. The location was great for us, near lots of restaurants and quick access to the highway. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very nice. It had a kitchen, dining table and a living room. There was a really nice sized closet and big drawers to put clothes in. While the rooms weren’t brand new, they were well maintained. Hot breakfast was served each day and the egg dishes and breakfast meats rotated daily. It was very nice having that right at the hotel so we didn’t have to go out for breakfast. The evening social was nice to have although we only attended that on two nights. But it was nice to be able to get a light bite to eat right at the hotel. The hotel was nice and quiet. No highway noise from 270. We were unable to lock our door when leaving the room the first day, but the maintenance man came and replaced the batteries and it worked fine after that. I took off one star, because about half way through our visit we started getting charges from Hilton for portions of our stay. It was happening over multiple days and each time I spoke to the front desk about it they said it wouldn’t happen again, but it kept happening. In the end we only paid what we were expecting, but i didn’t appreciate the bother the random charges caused. I think they had someone new covering nights and that person did not understand what they were doing. Other than that, everything else about our stay was really nice. The hotel has a small exercise room and a laundry room. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even the bed was comfortable. That is rarely the case in a hotel."
"We visited the area in July for a two night stay. The front desk woman was very nice and explained all their new protocols during COVID-19. The room was clean and spacious. I was also glad to see it was refreshed between the two day stay. Breakfast was pretty lackluster but props for trying and not just resorting to a brown bag with an apple and granola bar like some other hotels have been doing. I would definitely consider this hotel again while in the area. Price point and location were a plus. It’s very closing to dining and shopping. "
"From the time you walk in, everyone goes out of their way to help you. Stayed only one night but will definitely be back when in the area. From the time we walked in the front door until the time we left everything was very clean, comfortable and in order. Good job to the management and staff!!!!"

"I selected Frederick, MD as my halfway point driving from Hillsborough, NC on my way back to Western NY. I am very happy with my choice as this Hampton is situated within a 5 minute drive from a shopping district (Panera, Walgreens etc). I was also surprised that there is a fun bar/restaurant onsite. The restaurant is cozy and warm and situated in an enclosed gazebo. Food is pub-fare. I chose not to eat there as i was traveling with my young son and he is a very picky eater. We went to Panera which was right around the corner. I was able to take a glass of wine (in a plastic glass) back to my room. It was a pleasant treat for a tired mom. Once back at the room we enjoyed a Pixar movie on tv. In the morning, we enjoyed a light breakfast of cereal for my son and a smoothie for me. Overall this hotel fit my needs perfectly! Thank you."
"We chose this Hampton Inn to be near Hood College for baseball. Not only was it a good deal, it was impeccably clean and the staff went above and beyond from check in to check out! Great breakfast! Great value! Highly recommend and we will be back! Location is excellent as well!"
"I switched hotels to save $10 - don't make my mistake. Stay somewhere else. I'm not sure why they are open during the Covid epidemic - nothing is available. No ice, no business center, breakfast is a grab and go bag with a small granola bar, a chocolate chip muffin, a banana and a container of orange juice. No coffee is available in the lobby - only what you can make in your room. Awful coffee! Speaking of the room, don't stay in 327. The hallway on the 3rd floor smells - very musty! The carpet in our room (next to the bathroom wall) was damp all night. The road noise was loud all night. I did select this room - don't make may mistake with this choice either! I'm used to Hamptons being an "okay place to stay". This is not one of them. Rooms and hallways need updating and cleaned."

"We stayed one night on our drive home. We reserved a one bedroom and it was very spacious, with a full kitchen, including dishwasher. Most everything appeared up to date. The pull out sofas and ottomans, however, had fraying upholstery. Staff were very responsive when the TV in the living room area wasn't working. It was evening and a front desk person came and worked on it for about 20 minutes, saying it was frustrating because the TVs were new. They couldn't switch out the TV, so all we could do is move to another room. That is when we discovered the badly stained mattress in the pull out, however, we were able to easily switch it with our previous room, which had a pull out mattress that looked new. Staff were very attentive and very apologetic about the issues. The pool area was pleasant and clean. The water was a little chilly. Enjoyable for kids, but not as much for adults to swim. Breakfast offered a wide variety of items and the area was very clean and well kept. There was a very large, pleasant area for eating. There are many restaurants around this area, even within walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and feel it was a good value."
"I stayed here for one night for a wedding. There were a significant number of rooms reserved under the wedding block. “Guaranteed” check in time is 3 and it was very important that everyone there for the wedding be able to check in on time because the shuttle for the wedding picked us up at 3:30, and the hotel was aware of this. A number of people got there early and requested early check in, including myself. I arrived at 2 and asked if it was possible to check in. The extremely rude lady at the front desk said no rooms were ready, which I thought was weird because checkout time is 12 so they had two hours to get rooms cleaned, but it was understandable because check in time isn’t until 3. I asked if our room would be ready in an hour (at 3) and she said “I don’t know, maybe”. When I inquired as to why she didn’t know if our room we paid for months in advance wouldn’t definitely be ready at the supposed check in time, she got extremely loud and irate and said she didn’t look at the clock so she didn’t realize 3 was in an hour. Fortunately, at 2:45, we were able to check in and get ready. A significant number of guests arrived a few minutes after us, closer to 3, and they didn’t have the luxury of checking in on time. The lady was extremely unprofessional and unapologetic and suggested they just get ready in friends rooms. Several people had to get ready in the lobby bathroom. I don’t understand how a hotel could screw this is so badly, and not even offer any sort of apology, but instead an angry screaming woman, when it was entirely their fault that they didn’t get rooms ready in time for rooms that were booked months in advance and they knew people were needing to check in at 3. Anyway, to summarize, if you have somewhere to be and want to check in on time OR simply expect decent customer service, DO NOT COME HERE. "
"I have stayed at this property many times when visiting Frederick. It is conveniently located off the highway and close proximity to so many areas of interest. The staff are so accommodating and the rooms are sparkling clean. If you need anything, the staff will assist you. Thank you for a great stay!"
