Honestly, I would only stay here again if attending an on-site event. The conference area, bar, and lobby are updated and nice, but the rooms could really use a major update (in fact, we stayed for an event a few years ago and rooms needed updating then). Our room was quite large, with sofa and sitting area, as well as a giant closet, so the space is set up well. It's just old - carpets were torn, paint scraped off walls, and I had to lift the wall air conditioner back into place; luckily it still worked (our friends' room did not), even though it was noisy. Bathrooms could use a redo as well - just very worn out, peeling wallpaper, and our sink faucets spun and leaked when we tried to turn the water on and off. And beware of the smaller elevators - my hand got stuck in one and the door wouldn't reopen until I hit the call button.

The Hotel is was good and clean, about 40 minutes to Boston and 25 to Worcester. Rooms are average with nicely updated bathrooms. The restaurant leaves a LOT to be desired, buffets are sp**** and weird. The hot tub has been broken for a year, seriously? The beds are tiny, not even full size if you ask me. Pool was warm but the pool area was cold so it was uncomfortable. It's a good place to stay a night or two but not more than that. FYI, if 4 people check in there should be 4 bath towels in the room. They should also be given the same number of water bottles as cookies. Very cheap to give less water than cookies.

I was treated like an ***** by the girl at the front desk when I asked why the pool wasn't open she said it wasn't open until after memorial day, when I questioned this and said it wasn't on the website she mumbled something about it had to be over 60 degrees and considering it was over 70 outside it was a poor excuse..I told her I had booked the hotel because it had a pool and she looked at me like I was completely stupid! Sorry but I've came a long way from Ireland and spent a lot of money to get here to be treated like an ***** by someone half my age. I demanded a refund (which hasn't went into the bank yet by the way) and she said she couldn't authorise one and phone on Monday- I told her I wasn't moving until she found me someone who could. Miraculously after talking to her general manager she said she was authorising one. I wasn't the only paying guest asking about the pool too, while I was there 2 girls came over and asked could they not even sit outside at the pool and were told no. Ridiculous they can get away with this. I would steer clear ,the staff clearly have no customer service experience- the guy on the front desk at check in was borderline rude too - he hardly even spoke or lifted his head. STAY ELSEWHERE

The hotel room is large and the stay is very comfortable. It is very suitable for family travel to choose this brand hotel. The hotel's breakfast is also good. There is also a hotel parking fee that is free and very good.

The environment is average and the facilities are a bit old. I stayed here just for the convenience of catching a flight. There will be a sudden power outage after 12:30 in the evening. It is said that there are frequent power outages in that area.

The hotel is a bit old, the network is slow, the American service attitude is good, courtesy and civilized.

I've stayed at many Fairfield Inns around the US over the last 10 years or so, and this one was the least impressive. I responded to a customer survey after my stay and received no reply, so I guess I'll let other potential travelers know the issues we encountered in this forum. First, there was no one at the front desk from about 7pm to 7am. There was a sign on the desk saying this was due to Covid., though how this could be true when there is someone manning the desk during the busiest parts of the day I don't know. Seems more like a cost saving measure to me. And despite signs everywhere saying masks were mandatory, most other guests we came across at all different times during our 9 day stay, were not wearing them. We felt like the hotel was not policing this at all. A bigger issue is that they call themselves a non-smoking hotel, yet it clearly is not. We could tell that our room had been smoked in previously, though it was not a severe odor or we would have left. What the hotel did totally reek of was pot, pretty much every night we were there, the dank aroma of ganja filled our hallway. Like, you could have gotten high off it if you stayed in the hallway and just breathed! Obviously hotel staff never makes a pass through the place or this would have been noticed. The room itself was clean, and beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in lately. A/C worked perfectly, with thermostat turning it on and off as appropriate. It was impossible to make the room really dark for sleeping, with a large gap under the door letting light in from the hall, and numerous LED's in the room. Room had a small fridge and a microwave. Room was quite quiet at night, probably largely due to occupancy being way down due to Covid. Pool, which we were told when reserving was open, was not, again supposedly due to Covid. The only significant room issue was the bathroom. It had a separate sink area, which normally would be nice, but this one was so tiny we really felt cramped using it. The bathtub/shower appeared to be recently retiled in a very mod, textured white tile, but the fixtures were total crap. You could actually pull the tub spout away from the tiling when lifting the water diverter. Water pressure was OK, and no shortage of hot water. We have previously stayed at the BW right next door to this place, and will say we found this place was definitely better, but barely. Hotel is about two blocks from an I-495 exit. There is a grocery store about a mile away, and a big convenience store and three gas stations just a couple blocks away.

I stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express in Woonsocket. The hotel was decent from a cleanliness standpoint but that was about it. The area around the hotel was rather rough with homeless people hanging around the parking lot. There was a lack of decent restaurant options nearby with only a second-rate taqueria and a diner in walking distance. The breakfast the next morning was so poor that I ended hardly eating and going out for breakfast. Overall, this was subpar for the brand.
