"WOW, really that sums it up! This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful property and sits on the corner of "Market Square" downtown Knoxville. So its very "walkable" to cafes, shops, etc. It was extremely clean and we felt very safe concerning all that is going on with COVID. Brianna at the front desk was a breath of fresh air, eager to help in any way and super friendly but yet professional. The bed was so comfy, one of the best we've ever slept in. (and we travel a lot) The pics on the website are true to hotel, decor is amazing. We did not eat at the hotel so can't comment on that but WOW on everything else. My husband had a business meeting the next day and they gave us a late check out so that I could stay in the room until he got finished, very nice touch and I appreciated that so much. We CANNOT wait to go back! You can not go wrong staying here. We have stayed at some of the best hotels in the nation and this one makes the top 5 for me!"
"Brionna (sp?) was our only point of contact throughout our stay and SHE WAS AWESOME!!! So friendly. So helpful. So accommodating. You couldn't possibly find a better representative for your hotel. The Oliver Suite was exceptional. Beautifully appointed. Nice View. The air conditioning was not 100% but, given the high temps and humidity, it was not uncomfortable in the room. I just prefer cold when I sleep and the lowest temp achieved for length of stay was 73 degrees. The Kern Library is always an exceptional experience. I try never to select the same drink twice - and I've never been disappointed with my selection. The bartenders/servers have always been very knowledgeable and spot-on with their recommendations. Two thumbs waaaayyy up!"
"The location of the Oliver was great. It is right off Market Square. Close enough for everything but you were not bothered by the noise. The Staff was outstanding. I made my reservations wrong but they adjusted them and welcomed us right away. Our room was large, had a fridge, ironing board, safe and a comfy bed. It was a bit soft but so great to lay in. The hotel has a coffee machine but also has coffee in the loby in the mornings. There are bowls of apples throughout the hotel which is a nice touch. This is located 1/2 block from Market Square, and about 2 blocks from the main street. When you stay there you have access to the speakeasy. It's just fun I would stay here again if i was in town."

"This was our first time in Knoxville. We were heading home from the beach, from a family vacation, and decided to stop in Knoxville instead of Charlotte. As another reviewer stated, there is a parking garage that you can park at on the weekends for free. & We used that garage. We were very impressed with the COVID precautions that this hotel was taking. (& we live in Pittsburgh, so, we were already wearing masks, even if not required.) Hand sanitizers were in lots of places. & Employees all wore masks. Our hotel room looked & smelled super clean when we arrived, however, I still spray Lysol around any of the hotel rooms that we stay at. & We also spend a few minutes using Clorox wipes on high touch areas. We had to call the front desk for linens for the sleeper sofa, and they were brought immediately. There was no maid service for our 2 night stay, which was fine by us. If we needed anything, they took care of it immediately. (toilet paper, etc.) This hotel has some of the friendliest employees that I have ever encountered. Absolutely amazing. EVERY single employee that we'd see, said hello, and welcomed us to this hotel. We were so impressed with this. The breakfast is still open, however, it is cafeteria style instead of buffet due to COVID. And I wish I could remember the names of the man and woman that seated people at breakfast... because they were super friendly and super efficient. They made breakfast very enjoyable. The hotel is close to restaurants, ice cream shops, and a movie theater & is located right in downtown Knoxville. Easy walk to a lot of places that have outdoor dining. Only downside, the rooftop bar turns into a night club at night on the weekends. So, after the evening social hour, (which they still do!), we left so as not to be around a lot of people. & There is a line and a bouncer once the roof top club opens up. Hotel guests can bypass this line and get to an elevator through the lobby. The pool was open, reservations were required. And they have a Top Golf in the hotel that you can rent. We loved this hotel, and plan to return again!!"
"I had a total of 3 rooms for a few nights. I did have an issue and Michael the manager he was amazing. I almost left but he was kind and very patient. We resolved the issue and im happy that my group stayed. The breakfast crew for the cafeteria style breakfast was rushing guest through the line and rude the food was amazing when they slowed down and listened to what you wanted on your omelet not adding what they wanted to add. I had a group of 12 people I stood on line and they kept asking am I done yet . When were done we will come off of the line thats what I said. If we wanted 100 omelets thats your job. The breakfast is amazing the breakfast crew should practice being more courteous. Over all I loved this hotel. I would definitely recommend it for families."
"So many good perks from the free drinks and mini apps at the bar to the fireplace outside and the pool/sauna/hot tub. The rooms are very nice and clean. Eric makes a perfect omelette and Martin (the manager at the front) as well as the staff in general are lovely TRUSTWORTHY people. I left a brand new Surface Go 2 in my room on accident and they're shipping it to me. thank you Embassy!"

"Wow is all I can say. This was the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room was updated, modern, spacious, and clean. Honestly this room made it seem like I rented out a studio apartment instead of a hotel room. Loved the walk in shower. A full size fridge and dishwasher in a hotel room?! Crazy. The sound proofing was amazing..I never heard anyone coming or going. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There were sanitizing wipes in with the key card and placed around the room. Only downside is there is no pool or hot tub. 10/10 experience and I look forward to staying here again if I’m ever back in Knoxville. "
"We booked to spend the night. Due to the weather, staff, and the comfortable accommodations, we decided to spend an additional night. The rooms are spacious and clean. The housekeepers are friendly and did not disturb you. The check in staff was very professional and service oriented. We enjoyed the free breakfast. It was a little better than most of the ones in other Residence Inns. Keith worked very hard to make sure that the buffet was replenished and the tables and counters were tidy. I highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed the Bistro for snacks and drinks inside the Courtyard lobby."
"This is a lovely new downtown hotel. It is also very close to my parents’ house. The rooms are nice, comfortable and very well appointed. It was extremely quiet, too. All amenities are offered, and then some. Breakfast is nice with a mixture of hot and continental options. The staff were friendly, helpful and quite conscientious about cleaning and replenishing. One minor suggestion, the Residence Inn by Marriott in Toronto offers rosemary-infused potatoes as a part of breakfast fare. They are delicious! I would like to see them added."

"I arrived in the evening to a warm smile at the check in desk. I was very pleased with my room and after unpacking, I ventured to the bar to have a snack coupled with an awesome margarita. The absolute best part of my stay was Saturday morning at breakfast meeting Anthony Fiumara in the dining area. He was great to talk to and advise me where to visit while in town! He was very sweet and funny, I would return there especially to see him again! Thanks to All!"
"Easy valet parking at the curb. The valets were freindly and swift. Parkking rate is very reasonable. The price is very reasonable for a downtown hotel with a great location to food, bars, and entertainments, Minutes to the UNIVERSITY. Both check in & check out were easy. Clean hotel."
"My sister and I had a wonderful time. Our stay was following an exhausting (but wonderful!) hike in the mountains. Close to all the downtown fun and food. We were greeted with enthusiasm each time we walked in. Room was clean, beautiful and comfortable. "

"We stopped at this hotel on our way home from Maryland to Florida. The front desk clerk was super friendly and made me feel welcome at check in. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It worked well for my mother, niece (age 12), and nephew(age 9), and I. We loved that the pool was open 24 hours. We did not arrive until late and we got to let the kids get out some pent up energy from the days travel. The breakfast to go boasted breakfast burritos, blueberry waffles with syrup, various cereal choices, muffins, and yogurt. There was plenty of OJ and milk. We were able to take our breakfast up to our room and eat before checking out. Check out was as simple as turning in my keys. A great experience and I would stay again. "
"Was here for July 4th weekend.. immediately greeted with southern hospitality and charisma by a younger guy (Can’t remember his name but he was AWESOME) I had no actual “problems” with this hotel. Everything was spot on.. the bed was a little firm but I’m picky about my mattresses. Also, they were running low on towels.. could’ve been a problem to conserve towels had we not only been on a 2 night stay! Stayed here but went to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. 45 min-1 hour drive.. not too bad. Overall, will definitely stay here again if it’s too expensive to stay on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge or if I’m up here for a football game at UT!"
"Grimy grout in the shower, a malfunctioning faucet, missing facade on the vanity made us question overall cleaning and maintenance, important during the covid-19 pandemic. Front desk staff ranged from cordial (young guy at check in) to indifferent (in the morning--these also lacked a professional appearance). The computer in the business center had outdated software which prevented us from using it and the staff seemed to lack all knowledge about it. There is only one small trash container (at the front entrance) and it was overflowing during our stay there and was not emptied. The entrance to the hotel is a bit difficult to find, located in the middle of an RV business inventory parking lots. Breakfast was handled well in spite of the covid restrictions. Not sure tables were cleaned between customers, but social distancing was maintained."

"This is a relatively new property downtown Knoxville. It is a paired property (whatever the industry term is), paired up with a Residence Inn. It’s located at the far end of Gay Street. So it is within walking distance of the theater district, Market Square, and other downtown sights. In terms of Covid clean, the room had one wipe by the remote control... but little other sign of extraordinary cleaning. The coffee pot was also dirty. So a little work to do. Rooms are a nice size. I’m often not a fan of Courtyards in the USA. I think the brand looks better abroad. This one felt more like what I’ve seen in Europe. Nicely appointed room and huge bathroom. Even had the 2/3 glass for the shower. Toiletries were also individual sized (not the shared pumps), which was nice. I asked for an early check in and ended up on the 3rd floor. A bit disappointing with status, but happy for the early accommodation. If you can, get a higher room, downtown Knoxville and the Smokey Mountains in the distance are worth the view. Service was ok at the front desk. I was confirmed mobile checkin, but my mobile key didn’t work. Front desk insisted on full checkin with card swipe and everything. Time to modernize your practices. It’s a little annoying. It’s also annoying that Marriott mobile keys rarely work, at least for me. No problems at hotels branded by the competitor starting with H. Nice new property. I’d stay here again... I’d probably try the Residence Inn option. "
"We stayed on the 8th floor and Daygo was our housekeeper. Daygo was very professional, polite and handled all our needs. Daygo service was exceptional along with other staff at this location including front desk, bistro staff. I truly enjoyed my stay and next time I will request to be on the 8th floor where Daygo will be the housekeeper. I will be returning very soon."
"excellent location to downtown Knoxville. walking distance to all the restaurants. easy parking. breakfast service is very good. Keith and Harrison keep the place running smoothly and always pay attention to details. fresh fruits and freshly cooked eggs. quality ingredients and good yogurt. comfortable rooms with good views."

"We stopped at the Holiday Inn Express on our way to Nashville after being in the car for 9 hours. Just off the highway, this hotel was perfect! We were greeted by Georgia in a bright, clean lobby & thankfully they had vacancy. They have a pool which is just off to the left when entering & looked nice. The room had 2 queen beds and was very clean. The beds were the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in & the sign in the room said they are new. The bathroom was stocked with towels that were the right combo of scratchy & fluffy. C.O.Bigelow hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner & body wash was available in the shower & the water pressure was very good. We were going to check out the pool but there were a few older gentleman in the pool area, fully clothed, drinking beer which made our teen cousin a bit uncomfortable so we skipped that. Harmless, I’m sure. Earlier in the night there was a family in there swimming and it looked like they were having a great time. Breakfast is complimentary from 6am - 10 am and was fantastic as well. There was a refrigerator stocked with yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, butter, etc. they had biscuits, sausage gravy, turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, a make your own pancake station, cinnamon buns and 3 kinds of cereal. There was also a selection of breads, bagels, muffins and oatmeal. On the wall hung “on the go” bags so that guests could take their breakfast to go if needed. How great! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Great nights rest, delicious & plentiful breakfast, safe, bright and clean. Photos of breakfast attached. Didn’t get a chance to photo the room before we messed it up. "
"We stayed here when we attended a game at the University of Tennessee. Every one was helpful and polite. The hotel offers game shuttles to the stadium for $20/person. Loved not having to do the 20 minute drive and find parking! The hotel was super clean and spacious. Even though it's close to the interstate it was very quiet and dark. Great window coverings to keep out the parking lot lights and the rising sun. There are a few restaurants in the area too. We had dinner at Aubreys, which is right across the street. Great bar area, and separate dining room. Perfect stay all around!"
"The hotel and grounds are well maintained. The lobby, hall, and room decor are modern, colorful, and tasteful. Our room carried that theme with a stylish bathroom featuring a lighted mirror frame over the vanity counter. Furnished with a microwave and fridge. Breakfast was well organized and maintained and included biscuits and gravy, omelet, scrambled eggs, sausage, and fruit. It also provided my first encounter with “robot pancakes,” made with the push of a button. Interesting but not very good. I was more impressed with real half and half in a carafe which you rarely see. Overall a little better quality breakfast than some chains. I’m still disappointed that few chains make any effort to RECYCLE the masses of waste created."

250 Brookview Centre Way, Knoxville, Tennessee, United States
"Stayed a week while in town on business. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to greet customers and make them feel welcome. The rooms are typical size and layout, and include a small fridge and microwave in each room. They have a bar and small restaurant, but no meals are typically included in the room rates. The biggest complaint I have is the noise you could hear from inside your room. The worst offenders were the toilets nearby (you could clearly hear them flushing all thru the night), the door slamming noise, and the ability to hear people in the next room either talking or watching television. They have a small gym with a few cardio machines and some weights. There is a small indoor pool, but it was closed the entire week we were there. Same goes for the elevators - there are only 2 and 1 of them did not work the entire 6 days we were there. There are a few restaurants nearby that you can walk to, and many more within a 5-10 minute driving distance. Parking is very scarce at the hotel - especially in front and on the right side. Often we had to park all the way around the side of the next door building as many spots closer are reserved for the nearby businesses, not the hotel guests. I would probably stay here again, but not for a week due to the noise which impacted my ability to get quality sleep at night and the various maintenance issues noted."
"Having seen a lot of Courtyards you have to look for something to really make them stand out. Courtyard Knoxville West is exceptional because of the staff. Kat was fantastic. She took care to make sure we felt welcome and that the hotel was clean and safe. The Bistro breakfast sandwich was also outstanding. The two gentlemen working the counter provided great service. We only had 1 night here but look forward to returning again when we pass through Knoxville. "
"We recently held a 2 day corporate event here, and I can now highly recommend it for your event! Great staff, accommodations, conference room, and food! Give them a try. Excellent, convenient location, with plenty of restaurants/bars within walking distance."
