"Really enjoyed our stay. We were a little dismayed that our room was not in the main building, but once we settled in, we were very comfortable. The room was spacious, the bed comfy, with extra pillows provided. Lots of outlets, giant tub, and very large bathroom. Especially appreciated that I could turn on the AC. So many hotels in Italy turn it off and messing with the thermostat makes no difference. As a hot flash sufferer, having AC makes a huge difference in being able to sleep well. The included breakfast was great, complete with bacon and eggs and the usual other items in the Italian breakfast. Enjoyed the bar and made friends with some Brits while waiting for the restaurant to open. The restaurant was great as well. All staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Parking tip... if you're driving in...when you pass the hotel's main building, there will be a driveway with the large blue "P" on the wall of the second building. It's easy to miss. Google makes it look like you turn right, into a street, but it is more like a driveway. There is a very nice parking lot between the main hotel building and the secondary one. I was impressed with this hotel's attention to detail. Made for a comfortable stay!"
"Nice hotel, located close to alot of new industry growing around the city of Rome. Taxi's from the airport all double the meter charges as it is a long way for them to go... so if you can book a car in advance or agree a rate. Also not many taxi's take card so it cost us about 160EUR to get there. The room was fine, lots of outlets, little balcony (road traffic noise but could sit out with a cigar. No coffee machine in the room (this is Italy) but the bar downstairs was pretty well stocked and the breakfast buffett was sizeable. Would recommend the restaurant next door (Casale del Formaccio) which also has O.C. Hotel on the side of the building. If you flash them your room card and passport they'll give you a preferred rate. The only real negative was that the room was quite warm and the A/C didn't seem to do anything."
"The stay was organized professional as you await from a 4 star hotel. Room 101 was clean, silent and with a big balcony. Breakfast with big variety. Over all it was fully ok. Just I wondered why I was asked to leave the passport at reception which I decided not to do (put stuff kept friendly!)"

"I stayed in the hotel for only one night. I am putting effort to find one positive thing about it. It would be that hotel is close to the metro station which can take you to the city center. From the outside hotel doesn't look so bad as it is when you enter your room. Room is spacious but omg. There were missing parts of the parquet, wallpapers are yellow and unglued from the wall. There was no proper blanket, but the one which they don't change or wash regularly. Toilet is spacious but shower cabin is really small, that some bigger person for sure couldn't fit in. Sink didn't work also. We complained, but no reaction. Do not count on breakfast, it is too poor that it should not be called breakfast. Shame for 4 stars hotel. No free wi fi, you pay 5 eur for 3 hours. Receptionists were nice but it didn't improve general impression about the hotel. "
"We stayed for three nights because of our agency. First I did not understand the 4 star of this property, I mean literally how come???? If it is because of the room sizes,OK. But there is nothing else! The rooms are sooooo old and filthy! Curtains were teared, shower and sink were rusty! During night time, when someone from nextdoor or upstairs take a shower or go to bathroom, it is impossible to sleep because of the water noises in the walls (!). Secondly, I do not want to talk about the restaurant, breakfast service and the gentleman who works for restaurant and bar for 24/7. During our three days stay I did not see anyone else than this gentleman. I think he is the only hotelier (?) works in this property. He is not a hotelier at all!! I never see him smiling. During breakfast service, he is making all coffee and tea pots but the coffee they are serving for breakfast is not a coffee and I definitely do not recommend you to drink at all. They are not washing tea and coffee pots at all because they were really dirty and disgusting ! Also, before you go, note that the property is an hour distance from Rome city center and metro line is not safe in this area at all ! The closest station is called Giardinetti and after 8 PM, things are getting ugly in metro line. "

"I stayed with my mother and sister for a night at this hotel, and it was everything we hoped it would be for our getaway, we wanted to spend a full day of relax at The Acque ALBULE nearby. We chose the option with access included, enjoyed a full day of pampering, and walked back to the hotel to enjoy a dinner served by a very friendly and helpful staff. The room had everything we needed, it was very comfortable, we even had a couple of beds brought in so we could all have our own. The breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed the pool area until we went to check out. I definitely stay back here if I am ever in the area again, looking forward to it!"
"Just had a fantastic 60 minute massage by Elena. She knew exactly which spots to work on and what pressure to apply when and where . She also integrated reiki technique into the session. Very good technique, good results, excellent masseuse and highly recommend booking time with her."
"The hotel is very dated and needs modernising. The rooms a small and the bathroom is very dated. The safe in the hotel was tiny - you could barely store your passport. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Menu options in the restaurant could be improved - it was very limited."

"The room is clean and tidy. There is no hair dryer. There is no toothbrush. The big bed is made up of two single beds. The bed has a thin quilt. The cover is not cold. There are quilts in the cabinet. Breakfast is delicious."

"I stayed here 3 nights in January 2020 for work. I was working for a company which possesses a large office about 10 minutes drive away. As such, it suited me down to the ground. But I spoke to some of the tourists there, and it is certainly a long way from the Rome you would see on a postcard. There is nothing wrong with that, but the transport options are limited if you are not on a coach or in a taxi. The roads in the area are absolutely terrible, so even if you are in a taxi or coach you will notice that the roads mean you drive very very slowly and bounce up and down a lot. But you are not here to read a review of the roads. The hotel is a standard Novotel probably decorated for the last time in the late 90s - so you know what to expect - one piece bathroom unit with round shower curtain, wooden veneer seats and furniture, and those funny light switches by the bed. I slept well. As you can see from the photos, it is pretty spartan outside - but don't be surprised if you wake up with the window open - the highway is just about a kilometre away and that will start making noise about 05:00. The bed was comfortable and the bedding clean and in good condition. The carpet was quite well looked after. The desk was the usual slide out wooden veneer - more than big enough for dinner or working. Plenty of power sockets by the desk but not so many near the bed. The hotel bar was pleasant and the staff friendly. I had room service several times and the food was fine. The breakfast was also a nice surprise, with a friendly team and excellent scrambled eggs. They could cook the bacon a bit more though! Reception was friendly and efficient and found me taxis and gave me information whenever needed. If you need to be in the neighborhood, a good choice."
"I stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. The hotel is good with spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast and food at the restaurant was also nice. Train station is a 10 mins walk. The only flag was the cab booked by the hotel to drop us to the airport. The taxi driver cheated us by driving through a longer route which cost us am extra 40 euro, in total I paid 110 euro vs 70 euro charged by other cabs, including night charges for a early morning drop. I understand that the hotel has nothing to do with the cab but being their regular clients i hope they share this feedback and alert other customers, after all it effects their customers."
"The somewhat inconvenient location of the hotel is compensated by the shuttle service - very nice service indeed. The Internet was easy to connect and more than adequate. The restuarant was very good with good food and an excellent wine list. The staff were all very friendly and professional."

"Hotel Petra is nice little gem of a hotel in Rome. It is a bit far from the main city center, but the hotel staff provides on-demand pick and drop from nearest metro station (Anagnina) from where you can go to all the attractions in Rome. The hotel rooms are very spacious with private patio. The washrooms are very clean and big. There is plenty of space outside the hotel including a lawns, garden, and parking area. You will feel very comfortable and safe with your stay. The hotel staff is very hospitable, personal, and friendly. They speak reasonable English so communication is not much of a problem. The breakfast is served in room, and you can let them know the previous night on what you want (juice, bread, coffee, etc.). There is a nice little minibar in the refrigerator to get additional drinks. The hotel also provides pick and drop facility from the airport on a paid basis. Please check with them upfront to book the airport transfers. Overall, our stay in Rome was made very comfortable at Hotel Petra. Many thanks to Stefano, Fabio, Gianni, and many others whose name I couldn't get properly."
"Petra is just stunning. If you love serene place and first-class service you will be in heaven here. My all stay was just bliss. A special thanks to Stefano, Fabio, Gianni, Lorenzo, Recordo for all their help in my all stay. Petra is my Second home in Rome. Rooms are spacious with small lawn, kitchen (Not in all room) & bathrooms and good for long stay. They have a shuttle service to Station or workplace, and some extra special service by Gianni only for me. I really love it and would recommend over anywhere. Grazie mille!!"
