"The customer service at Sankara was fantastic: friendly, courteous, competent. They took care of any request without batting an eye. The rooms were also brilliantly comfortable -- great beds, spacious and modern bathrooms, abundant linens, plenty of lights and plugs. There was a VERY loud party at the hotel one evening we were there, that had the bass thumping until far too late, but that is unusual. The breakfast offerings were the most expansive that I've ever seen. The location is excellent, with many restaurants and shops in easy walking distance, though be warned that the traffic right in front of the hotel is a constant gridlock (as it is in many other parts of town). But in short, an extremely safe, welcoming, luxurious place to stay." "Excellent facilities and delicious breakfast. Importantly, the entire Sankara teams were always willing and ready to assist. I had a VIP delegation and was constantly in business meetings and lunches/dinners. In particular, the hospitality is top notch. Christine Chemosit and her team were always ready and available to accommodate all our requests; be it last minute requests for meeting rooms, arrangements for dining tables or printing services. Thank you Christine!" "THE BEST staff ever. Alex, Brian, John, Solomkn all the ladies in the breakfast area were such a joy. Security guards 24/7. Poolside bar. Graze restaurant!!!. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Bottled water in the rooms was a treat. Sauna every day. Cool pool (unheated was perfect for post workout). 24hr gym! Can’t get much better. Asanti sana rafikis!!!"
"Instead of going to the Carnivore, I chose this place for my fam since it had the meats AND a dinner show. I had been here about 7 years before and had a great experience. This time the service was not good. Our server knew it and apologized at the end of our meal. He said he was very busy. I appreciated the apology, but it wasn’t just him. The whole team was slow. When we arrived there was no explanation of how things worked. The salads, sides, etc. came out sporadically and after quite a delay. The meat carvers came by a few times and then basically stopped until I flagged then down multiple times. And this was even with us being one of the tables closest to the grill. I also had to ask them to bring specific things which were on the menu but had not yet been brought to our table. It was very frustrating to have an empty plate for at least 10 minutes in an all-you-can-eat place. My wife ordered a drink and had to go to the bar twice to get it to come. So…the service was a 2/5, while the taste of the food was a 5/5. The show was entertaining. My kids especially liked the acrobats. As a dad and husband, at the end of the day what matters is how much my family enjoys an experience. They had a good time, so I was happy. But, it was not as enjoyable for me. Instead of feeling cared for, I felt like I had to speak up all night to get the experience we paid for. An average rating would take away form the performers, so I’ll round up to a 4." "This hotel is not a real park but is better than a park. It has a large area and green grass. It can enjoy a variety of wild attractions while enjoying the enjoyment of the city. The most praiseworthy is that there is a large pool of different depths connected to each other, and a water slide that runs down the rockery. It is not boring for children to play in the afternoon. Another surprise is that there are five restaurants in the hotel, covering Chinese, Japanese, Italian and other international cuisines. The price of the hotel is breakfast-included (although Ctrip's order is marked with no breakfast), the breakfast is very rich, and after eating the western food for so many days, the chicken soup is especially delicious." "The hotel is located on the outskirts of Nairobi and the surroundings are good. There is a shopping mall behind, there is also shopping village in the hotel, shopping is very convenient. The hotel occupies a large area, with large green areas, and there are water and twists and turns, which is indeed a veritable park hotel. The parking lot is very convenient for self-driving. Many of the swimming pools are suitable for parents and children. There are many restaurants for you to taste the cuisine of various countries. Being the first stop or the last stop to arrive in Kenya gives you a comfortable experience."
