The service, food, hot spring tub were excellent and the staff was very attentive. The only thing I wish could have been better is the outlets to plug my phone into. We couldn’t find one in the bedroom/sleep quarters (Japanese tatami). So make sure to bring a portable charger if you don’t want to be away from your phone. Another advice would be more of a treat if they provided a face mask and sleep wear. The reason I’d suggest this is because another competitor hotel of theirs provided very considerate toiletries for the ladies and I think that was a HUGE plus for me considering we spent a lot of money for one night. Anyways, overall villa 32 is great if you just want to spend a few hours to relax.

Breakfast is a Western set menu and there are three main dishes. The extra bed should be discussed with the hotel, and the room has extra space for an extra bed. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed. There are only 5 rooms in the heart of the Beitou Hot Spring Area, going to the geothermal valley, Meiting Yuliang as the former residence, Beitou Library and Museum are very close, walking distance.

The room itself is spacious, nicely designed and clean. Unfortunately the service was shocking. It is far from 5-star service, let alone the usual MO standards in other countries. We arrived at the entrance without receiving any warm welcome from the bell boy. No one helped with our luggages. The staff at concierge and their Italian restaurant failed to deliver friendliness and hospitality. Upon arrival, we asked the concierge to book the restaurant for our anniversary dinner. Let alone displaying normal manners, like saying congratulations, sir/madam it is reserved, the concierge lady just suddenly paused with a forced smile and told us “we are done”. At the restaurant, the service was even more unimaginable. The staff first gave us a normal set menu and then when we were going to order, another staff came and said sorry, that was the wrong menu and gave us Father’s Day menu. Apparently no one at the hotel would warn us it was ********* Father’s Day and the restaurant would only provide Father’s Day set menu. No wonder the entire restaurant was filled with noise. So we decided to leave the second we sat down. Well, they tried to charge for a bottle of water and asked us to keep half bottle of it as souvenir…… With this price, I would not recommend to book this hotel for Taipei.

We stayed for four days and three nights to celebrate our birthday. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is a 6-star hotel. The guest rooms are larger than the average five-star rooms. The toilet also has a separate washing space, which is very convenient. There is no noise even if you use the bathroom in the middle of the night. to the sleeping family. The entire hotel is very elegant and elegant, and the service staff are all smiling and welcoming. There are also many restaurants in the hotel, but the Italian restaurant Bencotto does not live up to its name, maybe because the star chef has left.

Excellent service, spectacular view from room and restaurant, great food too. Basically you just bring own clothes to get in, nothing else. It provides plastic slippers, unlimited drink/ snack, clothes to change, basic skin care products (even mask!). And there is shuttle service from/to the train station. Excellently experience. No complaint at all.

The resort is a perfect place to relax and rest, since it is up in the mountain and there is not much traffic so it is very peaceful. The huge private hot spring bath tub in the room with a view of the greenery outside is a definite plus. Breakfast and dinner is exquisite and the portion is just right. Staff is professional, friendly and welcoming.

It's a great hotel with great facility and great location. It has great and instaworthy design.n Well, when it comes to value to money, this hotel is a let down. The price is overrated compare to the added value of the room and service you can get. Unless you really have high budget for hotel stay so that you can afford their suites room in high floor, the room (including its view) is just a so so (compare to its price) The most let down is their breakfast service in Yen. It consistently gave me an unfair table placement during my stay. Fyi, I am a non chinese asian solo traveller. I always come to the breakfast place quite early before 7 AM so that there are so many empty table. The restaurant officer always escort me to sit in small table with almost no view. Everytime i asked why i can't sit in the more better better place, they will answer that the tables are for more than 2 person. Again, i arrived very early in the morning so that almost every tables are empty. First, i tried to be positive, that maybe this restaurant would be very full soon and the officer would consistently place a single person guest like me in the smaller uninteresting position table. I was very dissapointed when they just escorted single or 2 person westerners to the tables with the best view with the capacity for 4 people or even sofa pavillion for 6. They were stayed there alone until their finish their breakfast. So dissapointed with this unfair treatment. Its front desk performance during my check out on june 4th 2023. It's almost 7 and only 1 officer standby. It's a very long waiting time (since i wait there since 06.35 AM). I also cant use the express check out because the express check out box has information that i can only do the express check out if I chose it during the check in (which nobody informed me). So my insight from this trip is: 1. Prepare a high budget so that you can afford their suites. You will experience the real W experience with that kind of room 2. Their breakfast restaurants service not really a best place for solo asian non chinese traveller. It has a great food and good view but yeah not the best service based on my experience

Overall a very nice stay, great location, friendly service even while quite busy on a holiday weekend. Solid breakfast buffet and nice top-floor views. A well-appointed if not overly large room, great water pressure in the shower.

The lobby is a homey looking place, where a library (of sorts) as the centerpiece. Visitors or guests can chill on the comfy sofa and read or book (or two). There is even a children's corner. We were warmly greeted as we were ushered to the reception upon arrival. The friendly warm smiles of the concierge and receptionist was appreciated. Although we had booked via Expedia, we were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded (from the Qiyan room - 33 sqm to the Fenglin room - 36 sqm). The room was spacious and luxurious: the fixtures were relatively new, so that was a plus, especially with the complimentary Hermes toiletries, snacks, drink and deep soak tub. Book lovers rejoice as the main feature of the hotel's lobby is a very big open concept library, filled with booked from floor to ceiling, which you can borrow. The room was really spacious, luxurious and clean. The complimentary Hermes toiletries, snacks, drink and deep soak tub were a big plus. The only thing missing was the view from the room but everything else made up for it. There was plenty of welcome (complimentary) drinks and snacks which are replenished each day; perfect for that session in the ensuite hotspring tub, or after an exciting day out and about exploring. The free minibar consisted of imported mineral water, sparkling water, and juices. The little snacks (such as cookies and puddings) are made freshly by the chefs daily. The room in general was well maintained and the bath spacious - the perfect place to wind down after a whole day of sightseeing and walking. The bathroom area is separated into wet and dry ensuite hotspring tub, and a bidet toilet. Overall, it was an enjoyable and pleasant stay. It would have been better if there was more signage on where to wait for the shuttle to the MRT station. The interior decor was pleasant and cleanliness maintained. Most of the staff did an excellent job and enhance the stay experience further. It is an ideal place for rest, relaxation and pampering (from the hassle and busyness of life). We definitely enjoyed ourselves, and would want to visit again! What stood out was the incredible service and attentiveness of the staff. They were thoughtful, and made us feel welcome. My iPhone charging cable had died on me and the reception staff loaned me one (with a smile). Checkout was also a superb experience: we had requested for hotel transport to the airport for our morning flight, and we were pleasantly surprised with a take away breakfast set before departure. It was a nice gesture. My only gripe would be the clarity and timing of the free shuttle to the MRT station. There was no clear signage and no one told us were to wait. So we waited at the lobby, only to realize we had missed the shuttle.

Booked two nights here to enjoy the long weekend. Room was comfortable and homey, and the service was very friendly and good. For example, our shoes got wet during hiking, and the staff helpfully took our shoes to dry out - very nice of them! The breakfast was so-so, but the outside restaurant recommendations from the hotel staff are pretty good (e.g. 子女居酒屋). Also the hot springs on the 3-F are great - they also have a cold bath so that was great for mixing in the hot and cold water baths. We actually did not try the in-room baths but they look fine. Overall very happy with our stay (despite the high price due to the NYE weekend)!

Hotel is located in the glamorous district of Xinyi. It’s in walking distance to fancy malls and 101 building. From the pictures of the rooms, you can see the hotel has moderately aged but still decently maintained. It’s functional and bright but does not fully adhere to the chic Le Meridien vibe. I wish the management can redesign the hotel to suit it more to the brand during next revamps. My SNA got approved to the junior suite and thank you to the team for assigning a corner suite for my stay. It is the same size as the regular suite but closer to look at the 101 building. However it may have some noise from the bar right outside and some events down on the street. Luckily it only lasted until before 11pm which is totally reasonable. The bathroom however, is gigantic. It’s nearly too big that wasted some space. I do not like the breakfast option in this hotel as it does not taste good. The options are not that much and most are really mediocre. I hope they can improve their F&B if I visit next time. The lounge is also very small. It’s easily full and the bar /snack area is tiny, same as the Renaissance. The lackluster food and self served cocktails are a let down for the premium price tag, pricing at almost the same as the W nearby. The pool is big and good for lap swims. However, I believe there are many locals joining the health club in the hotel which makes the already tiny hot bath area cramped and wet towels everywhere. People are also taking so loudly which kills the vibe. I immediately walked out as it is not relaxing at all. All in all despite the letdowns, I still think it is worth a visit due to its location, functional rooms and friendly service.

Le Meridian has always been my top choice whenever I visit Taipei. It’s at an excellent location with awesome buffet breakfast and nice rooms. The housekeep and front desk staff are both very helpful. The rooms are always very clean and never had any issues. I feel like this is my 2nd home in Taipei with friendly staff and excellent services. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I’ve been a Marriott Platinum member for 9 years and this is one of the top rated hotel on my list. Highly Recommended!
