On the shores of Lake Geneva, authentic French luxury, from concierge to check-in to Izumi on the top floor overlooking the entire landscape, this hotel interprets the new definition of luxury. The only downside is that the room is slightly smaller and the price is more expensive.

The location is very good, the room can see Lake Geneva and the Jet d'Eau Fountain, but parking is inconvenient, there is no parking lot, you have to park in a public parking lot far away, or in a parking space in the courtyard, you can park for up to 2 hours at a time, and pay a parking fee every 2 hours, about two to three hundred RMB a day. And the house price is several times that of the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin~

I stayed with a friend for a spa weekend. The hotel is fabulous, rooms are very well appointed with luxury decor and everything that you could need. The hotel is minutes from the beautiful lake and an easy 30 mins or so walk into the centre of Geneva. The spa is fantastic with a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool with lovely views of the lake. The main bar is lovely and we ate in all of the restaurants as we had dinner included, the food is fabulous here, the Japanese sensational, excellent cocktails, incredible wine list and all round top class customer service. Not cheap but well worth it for a treat, we would definitely return again.

We stayed in a Suite in the Maison des Ecureuils at the chateau des Avenieres and had a great family time, enjoying beautiful hikes in the surrounding area and exploring the chateau. The Chateau-hotel is marvelous, inside out, and it’s outdoor area offers spectacular view. Our two-floors suite was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated, including a fireplace and beautiful view, while in the morning we were also served an amazing breakfast with delicious French delis at the chateau. At night, we dined at the incredible “M” restaurant in the chateau, tasting its fine dishes and enjoying great wine. The key opportunity area is the checkin process & the reception-staff (they were neither very welcoming, professional or kind enough when receiving our family - e.g they couldn’t find our reservation for a while and didn’t apologize for it / they didn’t suggest we stay in the lounge area while waiting for our suite to be ready/ they didn’t assess possibility for an available upgrade for us despite we earlier asked for etc - , nor keen to show us around the hotel area and our suite amenities - e.g. they only gave us a letter with few instructions while they didn’t accompany us, neither asked to help with luggage nor showed us our suite, and consequently we had hard time ourselves connecting to internet & Sonos music system there).

The hotel is a dozen minutes away from Cornawan Station. Compared to other hotels of the same level in the city, the location of Mandarin Oriental makes me feel more quiet and comfortable. The staff at the hotel’s gates have a very good service attitude and have helped many things. The front desk is also very welcoming. During the epidemic, the room also provided two anti-epidemic bags with gloves, masks and disinfectants. The hotel also gave small cakes when checking in. The hotel’s bathrobes and bedding are very comfortable, for people who adjust for jet lag. It is very comfortable.

The hotel is very historical. The location is directly opposite Lake Geneva. Compared to similarly located five-star hotels, the price is a bit advantageous, and the service staff is very nice. Breakfast usually starts at 6:30. Check-in is a superior room. You can add money when you check in to a room where you can see the lake view. Generally, you go out for sightseeing, so you can go out and watch the lake view. It is said that this hotel also has one in Lausanne, you can try again, and the overall feeling is very good

The hotel is very convenient. It is easy to find the train station in ten minutes. It is easy to go out through the seaside pier. It is very convenient to take the M1 to the center of the old town. The hotel rooms are readily available. Children love it, and the service attitude is good. You can save money by sending a transportation card by boat or bus. But the most satisfying thing for me is the Valmont spa on the second floor of the hotel. I can directly select the items I want on the iPad in the room and make a reservation. The two young ladies are very enthusiastic. When I come to Switzerland, I must experience the facial spa here! After you feel satisfied, you can directly buy Fallman products, and the price is not expensive. You can mainly buy sets that are difficult to buy outside.

Standard room is not very spacious but at least it has AC (finally). Turn down service is slow. Comes about 9pm? Room is tired looking. Like any American hotel. TV is way too small. The bathtub is very slippery - pls be careful going in and out! Luckily the bed is comfortable and gym is small (1 machine each) but efficient and good hygiene practice - 24hrs too. It faces the river, has a nice view at the bar at ground floor. Location is good, 10min. walk to train station (without the luggage) or walk 20min. to the old town (quite a nice stroll so long weather is nice and you're not carrying a lot of things). Front desk and conceirge are very polite and helpful. Breakfast is very good! Not sure if I'll be back again as there're so many hotels in Geneva in this same location.

The location is very good, facing the fountain of the British Garden at Lake Geneva. Surrounded by big brand stores, it's only 5 minutes way from the Ferris wheel. You can visit Lake Geneva. The hotel service is very good and the waiter can help you carry luggage.
