"The hotel is in a very convenient location, being near a lot of restaurants and shops. Most of them are within walking distance or a short drive. The room that I had was comfortable, and clean. There were some minor signs of wear and tear, but the room appeared to be well maintained and was in good working order. I found the room to be quiet at night, and the blinds shut out most of the sunlight during the day. My room was facing a hotel that is under construction, but the construction noise was muted, and I didn't find it bothersome at all. I had a few quibbles about the room and hotel here and there, but they were trivial, and didn't detract from the quality of what I experienced. They have a small fitness room on the first floor, which I used regularly during my stay. The complimentary breakfast offerings were quite good, and kudos to them for having grits, which I love. Housekeeping nicely refreshed my room throughout my stay. This hotel delivered quite well where it mattered, and for that I was pleased with my time staying here."
"We were checked in relatively quickly and the staff was friendly. I was concerned about the noise level of the Fairfiled because when checking in, it was very loud there. But once we got up to our room, it was nice and quiet. The breakfast in the morning is only "okay". Nothing special about it, but it saves on money, rather than going out to eat for breakfast. It's also a nice town to visit (which is what we were doing). One thing, they were having a company come in and clean the carpets and ac unit one of the days we were there. Even though we had the "Do not disturb" sign prominently displayed on the door, they still knocked and disturbed us. When we informed Melissa (I believe she is the front desk supervisor), she was basically like, "Oh well, we informed you (they did not give us any information on it when we checked in and she said we should have received something under our door the morning of...not good, because we didn't and it really should have been done the night before, because most people who do not want to be disturbed, are sleeping during the early morning). That's your problem." Not a very customer service oriented person. One star for her, but the hotel really was comfortable, quiet and plenty of channels on the television."
"Staying here at the Fairfield inn & suites for a 3 day stay was greeted pleasantly by the front desk host, quickly was checked in went to my room which was clean, fresh smelling ,comfortable, the beds are extremely comfortable with brand new televisions and a quiet air conditioning system, a nice hot breakfast which comes with the room, I totally enjoyed my stay here and we'll stay here again on my next visit."
