"I stayed at Le Camp Suite & Spa three times and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I lived in Padova while in college and I go visit once or twice a year. A couple of years ago I decided to stay at Le Camp Suite & Spa for the first time because of the excellent location, right at the heart of the city and the convenience of free parking, which is a miracle to find at a decent price in the area. I ended up enjoying my stay so much that this became my hotel of choice every time I visit. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the staff always very professional and helpful. Breakfast is included and the selection of food is great and includes Illy coffee. If you want to relax before hitting the city, the spa is really the place to do that in a intimate and cozy atmosphere. I once also tried a massage and I was impressed by the quality of the service. All in all, if you happen to visit this wonderful city, I can't think of a better place to stay for the unbeatable location, the quality and professionalism of the service, and the comfort of the hotel."
"Thank you for looking after my husband and I so well this weekend. Upon arrival you were so welcoming. The suite was stylish and comfortable. Great coffee machine and loads of little extras that were appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We used the spa services too which were calm and relaxing. Definitely recommend. Great location, central and accessible."
"I had one of the large suites in the hotel, and it was a truly impressive room. Huge and tall space with a large bed, comfortable furniture, fridge, and coffee maker. The location was super-convenient, walking distance from the train, the observatory, good restaurants, and all of the sites. Breakfast was very good as well. I did not use the spa."

"The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was excellent, clean and very spacious with a good sized bathroom, TV, plenty of storage space, mini bar and a safe. Although I was on my own the room had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The lighting, door and curtains are all electronic and controlled by a chipped card. The only issue I had was how to close the door after exiting the room but then that is probably because I'm an old fart and not quite up to speed with new techy stuff. Breakfast is the usual continental style with pastries, bread rolls, eggs and various cooked meats. The double expresso coffee gave me a great caffeine fix setting me up for the day!! There is good secure basement parking with access using your room chip card. The train station is only a ten minute walk away, I would advise anyone wanting to visit Venice to pay the 5euro e/w fare rather than pay the crazy parking fees in Venice itself."
"The hotel is located on a junction of two busy roads. There is not much to see/do within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms are small and simple, the beds are uncomfortable because of the plastic sheet under the cotton sheets. Bathroom is simple, but everything works. Breakfast is very basic, a limited selection of everything. At least I could get a coffee from a real espressomachine."

"I stayed here for several days on a recent visit to Padua. The hotel is small and quiet but in an area that is readily accessible by tram from the train station. It is also close to many of the attractions you would want to see during your stay. The property is about a five minute walk from the tram stop to the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage and it is during busy hours (morning and evening commute) on the tram, you might want to consider a cab as the tram can be crowded. The staff are very nice and everything is very clean. The shower in our room was a bit on the smaller side but perfectly fine. The room had a small table and chairs as well as a small desk. Free wifi worked well. The included breakfast was quite good with the range of cold offerings you would expect in Italy. The coffee was really great."
"Nice small hotel which was centrally located. Very comfortable rooms with ample space and recently redecorated. The service was excellent service and provided good and generous continental breakfast. Also, the cost was reasonable for the service provide."
"Great location across from a great square, the Botanical Gardens and St. Anthony's Basilica. Good, clean rooms, quiet. Free parking next door, which is very handy in a crowded city like Padua. Staff recommended a terrific restaurant nearby. One thing, though: There is no night staff in the hotel, and guests are asked to phone an affiliated hotel in an emergency."

"We stayed at Hotel Methis for one night in June, as Padua was a good stopping point between Venice and Milan. We arrived at 10 PM and check-in took forever -- the front desk clerk asked what type of room we needed and then disappeared for at least 20 minutes (I think she was cleaning the room). On getting to the room we were immediately disappointed -- it looked nothing like the photos online. The room was dark and dingy; the bathroom was also not clean and I could not bring myself to shower or use their towels. To make matters worse, the mattress was maybe 4 inches thick. If we were not checking in so late in the evening, we would certainly have found another place to stay. In the morning it became clear that we were the only people staying in this terrible hotel. We were the only guests at breakfast, and after 10 minutes of no service I had to go and find someone to give us coffee. To top off this terrible stay, in the hallway the cleaning staff was arguing loudly when we left. This was a very unpleasant stay and I would have preferred to sleep in our rental car."
"Good location where you can walk within 15 min to main attractions of Padua. Good Parking lot at hotel. Nice staff, good breakfast, wifi working good. Comfortable and clean room. The only thing that needs improvement is the AC, it was not working well and it was hot. Except for that, we had a good one-night stay."
"the hotel is well located walking distance from the center of old city. lots of resturants around. the room itself was ok. the bed was not so comfterble. the tab was old. but, it was cleaned well every day. the reception team were nice and welcoming. breakfest was ok.."

"We are so excited with this hotel! The staff are so friendly and helpful.! The location is very good near the bus stop for Venice. Also, in Hotel has a Restaurant with traditional Italian food, for sure you must try it ( pasta, pizza, dessert). At the end, I want to mention that housekeeping do very good work. All the hotel is very very clear! If i will come again in Venice , I am sure that I would book in this hotel !!! "
"Hotel 5 Colonne is great. The rooms are nice and made for a peaceful night of sleep. Breakfast in the morning is standard (brioche, yogurt, cheese). Mirano is a cute town and a good place to spend a relaxing evening. We ate in the hotel's restaurant, which was also very good. A lovely stay!"
"The interior is authentic and vintage in the luxury rooms with a big bathroom. We were warmly welcomed and were very good informed whenever we needed anything. The breakfast was good, I wished there were eggs or cheese variety. Highly recommended."

"This is the perfect location in the heart of Padua's historic old town. It is two minutes easy walk to the main piazzas and shopping centre; there are plenty of bars, osterias and restaurants within two to ten minutes walk. The major tourist sights eg Scrovegni Chapel, Basilica San Antonio and Palazzo Bo are also within easy walking distance. The hotel's foyer exudes Italian charm, room was spacious with plenty of storage areas. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would certainly stay here again and am pleased to recommend this hotel to my friends."
"Loved our stay in this beautiful hotel! Although it wasn’t extravagant- it was comfortable and served its purpose well! The staff were very friendly. We drove there - which is definitely a challenge! TIP: Use Google Maps (NOT Waze) for this. Once we found it the staff accompanied me to their garage and directed me perfectly. Breakfast was great, again with perfect service! The hotel is around the corner from the beautiful square filled with restaurants and tables of people enjoying Aperol and potato chips. I’d stay again."
"Perfect location in the old city! The hotel is charming and spotless. The lobby is really beautiful. The beds are very comfortable, only the shower cabine was too small. The staff is very friendly and helpful and made our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend! "

"This was a middling hotel. The welcome we received was very underwhelming, having had to find a side gate as the main gates were closed and nobody could be roused to let us in. After a while the lady warmed up a little so I don't think we had seen her best side first off. The breakfast was sufficient with the highlight being fruits freshly grown in the garden and homemade cherry pie. The wifi was hopeless however, only available in the lobby and not a strong signal there. And the aircon was dreadfully underpowered, not adequate after a hot day but sufficient when the weather was cloudy. The location was good however with Mira-Mirano station being a short drive or a longer walk, from where trains to Venice were only 20 mins or so. The restaurant was closed when we visited (COVID times) which was understandable but you might have struggled if you didn't have a car to get to other restaurants."
"What a great stay outside of Venice. We avoided parking expenses by staying 25 minutes away (by train). We swam in the pool twice, had a wonderful breakfast included and rented bicycles 🚲. Beautiful rooms and service. Had a great day in Venice a short train ride away. (Be careful on weekends because the train schedule may be limited). We rode our bikes and left them locked at the train station. Exercise and lots of fun too. We will certainly be back to Relais Leon D’Oro. "
"We had 15 stay for 3 nights, the staff were fantastic. Marguerite runs a good hotel. She gave us helpful tips and advice. 10 minutes to train station, 30 minutes to venice. Make sure you get to venice early. Or go see her in the late afternoon evening when her light is best. Not many food choices locally if you are staying at the hotel. But breakfast is good for Italy. Rooms are clean and gardens and grounds are beautiful. A little traffic noise but not noticeable in rooms. "

"It is a good choice to travel to Venice by car. The hotel is about half an hour away from Venice. The facilities are very good. The waiters are very polite. The parking lot receives 10 Euros a day. There are many breakfast choices. You will stay again next time!"
"This hotel is very comfortable"

"This hotel was built sometime in the 1700's and it has withstood a powerful tornado in the 1990s. This place is quaint, with a lovely courtyard, and excellent staff. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We truely loved the stay here, my wife fell in love with the structure and the help. We arrived by bus from the Marco Polo Airport. Actually, this was interesting in itself as we got a chance to look at the country side and various businesses. We thought we had a shuttle programmed however, I did not follow up with the hotel and because of my error of not following up we took the bus to the hotel. Because of this we got to know where the bus stop near the hotel (only a few steps away), and we found out where we caught the bus in Venice. Again the staff was very gracious as I thought I had lost or misplaced my Passport and after much searching and thinking the worse, I discovered that I had placed the Passport in a hidden location that I forgot about. The staff assisted as much as they could and after I found it, I was so grateful that the hotel staff searched everywhere!. Thanks Hotel Villa Gasparini staff...Especially the owners wife!!"
"Sad to be leaving today. Myself and my husband have had a fantastic mini break away to celebrate my Birthday. Hotel very beautiful beatique hotel. From the moment we arrived hotel arranged our taxi to hotel ( organised for return home as well ).All the staff so friendly , helpful from explaining to us about bus into Venice collected tickets From hotel .Bus stop so close to hotel . Couple evenings we walked to Italian restaurant also very close by. Personal touches including candle and cake on my birthday morning at breakfast. Breakfast continental but very lovely adds to the romantic charm of the hotel. Room spotless couldn't fault it A romantic getaway we very sad to be leaving. Thank you so much to everyone at VG for making our holiday so special we will never forget. X lots of love Kelly and Craig Walker."
"My hubby booked this hotel through Expedia as a special treat, we arrived at Venice bus station only to be told the hotel was 45min bus ride away!! (This was not on the advert description and we were led to believe this was in city centre, as that’s what the description of the hotel advised). So we ended up getting lost, which then led to a 40min walk to the hotel. Once we arrived at the hotel we got all booked in and was ready for something to eat and drink......Where we discovered there is no restaurant on site, no coffee facilities, and a mini bar in the room with limited stock. The hotel is lovely, well maintained, clean and looked after but the lack of facilities let’s it down! Yes the buses go regularly into Venice but it’s 45mins ride to get there, as the hotel is stituated in the middle of no where!! If you wanted your room clean there was an extra charge, if you wanted clean towels there was extra charge, breakfast extra charge. After spending our first day travelling backwards and forwards trying to find food etc, we called it quits and booked another hotel in the centre of Venice. When we left this hotel we thanked them for their service and explained our reason for leaving ( the staff didn’t seem surprised by this), we didn’t ask for a refund we just cut our loses and left In a nut shell hotel lovely and beautiful but 22km out of Venice, 45 min bus ride, no facilities, nowhere near by to get food etc ( unless you walked 3 miles) and the advert selling the hotel is misleading, not much to do,"

"So this was the worst experience ever,I stayed here as I came for a weeding and I had my Labrador with me. Of course they knew about the dog, they actually said there will be an extra fee. Arrived at the reception and they said is a problem with the fact that my dogs has nails!!! Can you imagine? An animal with nails?:)))))Of course it was funny but also annoying. They gave me the worst room ever, the service was terrible and the worst part was that in the morning, when I arrived from the party the entrance door was locked. So can you imagine? I had to wait around 25 minutes outside so someone can arrive to let me in. I don"t recommend ever this place!!!!"
