"Although this ancient hotel is a long time ago, I ca n’t live here in Quebec. I personally find it very lacking, so I played in Quebec for 4 days. Figure 3 is a Fairmont room, and Figure 4-5 is a luxury room. It is better than the Fairmont room, the bed type is slightly wider, the toilet is wider than the Fairmont room, and the floor design of the deluxe room is very quiet, different from the housing area of the Fairmont room; the restaurant of this hotel It's also great, the waiter is very handsome, sitting in the restaurant and watching the suddenly open view of the window is really enjoyable! There is also an old restaurant, Bistro1640, 2 minutes away from the hotel. The food here is also good. In general, the surrounding environment of the Fairmont Hotel is very convenient and the service is very good. It is recommended!"
"The location of the hotel is excellent, the breakfast is very good, especially the croissant is recommended, the hotel guests can park 40 Canadian dollars to 5:00 pm the next day, and the front desk can get in and out of the card multiple times. The only shortcoming is Check-in at the front desk was extremely slow and it took more than half an hour to check in. The hotel has many tourists during the day, it is very noisy, the night is quiet, and the beauty is like oil painting. Recommended!"
"I lived in two Fairmonts this time. I think this one in Quebec is the best in Canada. The building is magnificent, the interiors are old and magnificent, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel courtyard is very beautiful. There's Starbucks, the old town is out, very short"

"This is a unique hotel, the hotel is an old warehouse remodeled. The design of the hotel contains many elements of historical relics. The service staff are very kind, the service is attentive and attentive, the restaurant’s produce is also very good, and the variety of beverages is very wide. It is an unforgettable experience that combines a modern and quaint hotel."

"L’hotel du Capitol is truly a luxury boutique hotel in the best location in old Quebec. The brand new designer rooms are truly marvellous. So much nicer than photos. Everything is super clean, new and shiny. We loved the gorgeous bathrooms with rainfall glass showers. The beds are very comfortable and we also appreciated the blackout curtains. This hotel is so modern and in my opinion nicer than Chateau Frontenac. We had a great sleep, in our comfortable bed, super soft cotton sheets and fluffy pillows. The best part that it’s nice and quiet. The big surprise for us was the gorgeous views and beautiful lounges. On the 7th floor there is a beautiful balcony with circular outdoor couch with fire table. On the 9th floor there is a rooftop outdoor lounge with the absolute best views of the city. The pool was closed due to covid - but we can’t wait to come back to try it out - you can see the whole city from the rooftop pool. The hotel serves a lovely breakfast in the morning. Don’t sleep in and miss this experience. Continental breakfast is served in a beautiful restaurant with white pressed table cloths. Delicious coffee , fresh croissants, yogourt, fruit and breakfast wraps. I couldn’t believe that this was included in the room rate. We loved the concierge Julie G. and Audrey at front desk. They were so lovely and really helped us with restaurant selections and activities. The staff here really go above and beyond to make sure the guests enjoy themselves. Thank you L’hotel du Capitol for the nicest hotel stay. Worth every penny!!"
"Spent a night at the hotel for my wife's birthday. The hotel seems newly renovated because it smelled that way in the room. Unfortunately I could not say I enjoyed the stay. As I mentioned, the smell of renovation bothered me a little. The room is small, good thing I didn't have any large luggage, otherwise I wouldn't know where to put it. They have a large window with a view of Vieux-Québec mais malheureusement, there isn't much to see and that large windows has some knocking noice all night long... As if someone is throwing out rocks to it - all night long, we couldn't sleep well because of it. Enough about the negative stuff, let's give them credits where it's due. Peoples. Yes, they are very polite, very professional, from the valet to the receptionist and even the cleaner. Super polite and nice, it's great to be greeted sincerely every now and then! Location. When I got there, I aaked the valet to keep the car outside as I might need it later... Well I ended up not needing it at all. Everything is walking distance. Dispite the cold weather, we managed to walk to the restaurant "Le Continental, my review is also up for this epic restaurant", then we walked to Château Frontenac, all within 10 minutes walking distance. During the day, there are plenty of bistros, bars and stores right around the corner. You'll love the location if you are there to explore!"
"The hotel is easy to miss - a nondescript entry and reception is on the seventh floor! It is somewhat odd but once you get past that you’ll find exceptional service, beautiful rooms with expansive city views, comfortable beds, classic bathrooms, all within easy walking distance of everything old Quebec has to offer. 126 Rue Saint-Pierre, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
"We stayed for a three-night getaway in January and the hotel contributed to having a splendid time. The location in the Lower Town is excellent. (For the history buff it is less than a block from the site of the British and Canadian victory over the American General Arnold on New Year’s Eve, 1775.) It is only a fifteen-minute walk, although steeply uphill, to Upper Town and a different tourist experience. We travelled by train: the hotel is a short taxi ride from the station. One could walk it without a lot of baggage on a less-snowy day. The hotel is the century-old Dominion Grocery & Fruit Co. Building, which has been re-purposed taking advantage of its fine architecture. Throughout the building one encounters cornices, pillars and wood panelling from the original. Our room on the sixth floor overlooked the river, where we watched two ocean ships making their way upstream in the ice and could see the comings and goings of the Lévis ferries. The room was not overly large, but had the very high original ceiling. It boasted a very comfortable Queen bed, an excellent work space beside the large windows, and all the facilities one would expect. The bathroom was very modern and well-equipped, with a wonderful glass walk-in shower. Our only criticism was the lighting which, combined with a lot of black paint, made for a dark room, particularly in the late afternoon and evening when the sun was beyond the big windows. The Continental breakfast was served off the lobby, with a variety of easy chairs or tables with chairs or stools to eat. The first two days the menu was identical, but much different on our last morning. Each day there was more than enough choice. The croissants, both plain and chocolate, were especially memorable. Regular coffee is available, or one may make good-quality cappuccino, espresso, americano, etc. from a machine. The hotel sits in the midst of a number of good restaurants, and the well-informed and helpful staff will guide you through them. We sampled good French taverne, Italian and Vietnamese all within two short blocks. We would recommend asking for a river view room, on a floor high enough to see over neighbouring buildings."
"Stayed here with my husband to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary. So many great things about this hotel; here are some highlights: -Lovely note wishing us well and acknowledging our special trip and a chilled bottle of ice wine. -Housekeeping staff checked on us every evening to give us hotel chocolates, ice and make sure we had everything we needed. -Great location in old Quebec with lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. -Room was cozy, darkly lit, great view and perfect for a romantic getaway. -Continental breakfast comes as part of the room and is great for the days you do not want to look for a breakfast spot. -Two of our favourite things about this hotel were the 24-hour espresso machine and the lounge space by the lobby where you could hang out on the couches in front of the fireplace; blankets included. -Decent gym on site for basic workout. -Welcoming, professional staff who take the time to ask you if you need anything. We have already decided to return to QC in a future summer and will definitely stay at Hotel Le Germain again. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!"
"My best friend and I came to Quebec City to celebrate her 50th birthday. We chose this hotel and were not disappointed! I got in at midnight and was greeted very warmly. When I entered my room, the light was on and nice music was playing. There was tea and coffee, creamer in the mini fridge. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on, our room was immaculate. My friend and I ate breakfast there every morning. We are foodies and normally would have like to explore the cuisine, but the bread, yogurt, special of the day, cheese, fresh juice, amazing croissants were out of this world! We didn't even think about going anywhere else. The concierge called cabs for us, offered directions and incredible suggestions, gave us maps and treated us like royalty. The roaring fire was a lovely touch and there are plenty of places to sit and just relax. I give this hotel and it's employees my highest recommendation. I don't usually leave reviews, but I just had to. You will not regret choosing this hotel."

"The environment of this hotel is really good. The old forest in the deep mountains is still in the back mountain ski resort by the lake. The environment is beautiful and the air is fresh. The hotel also has hot springs. The restaurant can be called Michelin level"
"Best value for money hotel ever The location is 15 minutes by car from Old Quebec, but it's a great place to rent a car. Too clean, spacious rooms, and facilities. It was good enough to stay an extra night. Riverview is art."

"This is the second time we stayed at Monsieur Jean- L'hotel particulier. As usual, the staff are amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay convenient. The room is very spacious and we love the view. Very good facilities, and very clean. Inside the hotel, there are many art installations, paintings, and artistic furniture! Location is at the heart of Quebec City! Walking distance from eveything - restaurants, cafes, store, and all tourist spots. Highly recommended to everyone who will visit Quebec City! This hotel is lit!"

3115 avenue des Hotel, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
"I feel I should start this review by stating that I am a returning customer that until this past visit has always been amazed with my stays at your hotel, so much so that even with multiple visits I have only ever felt the need to post one review which was a Five Star one as with each returning visit you exceeded expectations. This weekend however L’Hotel Quebec fell short at every turn... We had initially reserved for two night but then added another when we got there. We even had brought friends this year as we are always so impressed with our stays who had reserved a room next to ours. Since I’m not even sure where to start with all that went wrong I will just dive right in. Before we even left I had emailed the hotel to advise this was a trip for my sons 8th birthday and just to ensure all went well I wanted to make sure the prepayment had been done (as we are a family on a budget) and that there would be pillows in the room for 4 people to ensure comfort. I got a prompt reply advising me that the payment had been taken and that the rooms had two beds there with pillows for both but if I needed more to contact the front desk. No problem, the two regular pillows along with the two decorative ones on each bed would be perfect. When I arrived however the Murphy bed had been pulled down and the beds had a total of 3 pillows on each. One pillow for everyone? Or two people get two pillows but two people do not? I did not bother to complain. At this point what was a couple of pillows when we were in our favourite hotel about to start birthday celebrations with friends. We headed to the on site restaurant 10 Vagues for dinner. When the man came to seat us he advised us that we could not have the buffet as they were closing but were free to stay for their a la carte menu, as Ive always enjoyed the food we opted to stay and started going over the menus. When our waiter came he asked us if we were having the buffet!? As the children had already picked their meals WE advised HIM that we had been told the buffet was closed (Ill mention people were still eating from it) he gave us a confused look ( although Ill also mention he was visibly either confused or preoccupied the moment he came up to our table) and left , then came back to take our orders a while later. When drinks came one of the children in the party was missing his milk, the waiter advised he didnt forget and would be right back, it never came until our meal quite some time later. When our meal came another child in our party received the wrong plate. He had ordered the big meal off the childrens menu with Pogos, pizza roll, and nuggets. When we called the waiter back he was visibly angered and literally shot his apron on the ground as he walked back to the cash to check the order while he left a child with a plate in front of him he couldn’t touch and a table full of people who had their food. He then came back, took his plate completely and didn’t return for a full five minutes at least"
"A very good hotel on the main highway to stay with family. It has indoor swimming pool which isclaen& not deep and u can njoy swimming with kids,a music band is playing on some days alongwith swimming.a hot tub is also there ,though it is not much hot, considering kids are also njoying HOT tub bathing.kids paly area near pool and above pool also. there is game room also where you can play so many games (naturally with buying coins) which children like it very much. They have restaura at ground floor, and reception is good.Though no free breakfast given alongwith the stay, just like other hotels r giv. Room cleaning OK. overall good."
"We spent one night at the Hotel Quebec last week. We were disappointed... I paid $315 for the night taking the Forfait Gourmandise. Definitely not worth it. They even charged us extra for this Forfait as it was in the holiday period (usually $245.99). The maitre d'hotel was too busy sitting people in the restaurant than to take our order for our pizza for the room in person. The assistant manager of the hotel had to come to his rescue as he didn't even pick up the phone when we called from the room as he had specified while discussing the order in person. He did mention they were going to change the way they run the restaurant...maybe wait a bit before going or get there 30min earlier as you will be waiting... The pool area was beautiful with the tropical plants and the band playing. However it is too small for the amount of people staying in the hotel. The amusement park and slide area for the kids is suitable for ages 8 and under ; my 10yo could not go through the maze of tunnels. There are plenty of activities for young families but not enough for the older kids (and I don't want to pay more than I did for my kids to go play on the arcades $. Bottom line: don't go there if your kids are over 7-8yo and get the specials in the restaurant instead of taking the Forfaits. Definetely not worth the $$$ they demand."

1100 Rene Levesque East, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
"The hotel is very close to the old city of Quebec. There is an underground parking lot. When you go to the front desk for procedures, you will be asked to park for 30 knives for valet and 19 knives for parking yourself. Need to look around the hotel. The hotel is in a good location, the price is very good, and the equipment is outdated. The five-star hotel does not provide outfitting water, and the hair is found on the bed sheets, and the price is not high."
"Good location. Convenient to nearby attractions. Stayed 3 nights and changed three rooms. The big bed room is really small. Pay attention to future bookings, and the bills for charging are a bit messy. The reception desk said that they were mistaken, and they gave 2 breakfasts in particular to apologize and handled them properly. In short, yes, the service is good, and it is recommended."
"The hotel is on the edge of the ancient city, it is very convenient to go to the ancient city, you can walk. Parking is valet parking, check-out is quick check-out, and the bills are already stuffed into the room in the morning. When you check out, you only need to put the room card in the front desk. We have a city view room. it is good!"

"You can also have dinner at the restaurant downstairs. It is very careful. It is a more creative Western food. The price is reasonable and the combination is novel. The breakfast is a la carte. In addition to the regular Western breakfast, there are also several creative dishes. The price is not expensive, breakfast is 20 Canadian dollars per person, dinner is about 30."
"The hotel is similar to the domestic 3-4 stars, the room layout is more like a domestic hotel, but it will be much cleaner. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the Old Town. However, the price added by Ctrip one week in advance was more than 1,700. The price was found to have dropped to more than 1,400 in 1-2 days before the stay, which made people feel bad."
"The newer hotel is surrounded by bar street, coffee shop and bakery. It is necessary to drive to the main scenic spot. The hotel's sewer pipe is a bit anti-water, and the hotel has given a discount."
