I believe that the cost benefit does not compensate there. Many controls of what you can or cannot consume inside the room, and the daily rate is quite high. Many failures in service such as delivering the bag to the room, not having enough water, shampoo and conditioner, etc etc. I believe that the high exaggeration of cost control of the place makes the experience to be restricted. Another point, the coolest area of the hotel which is the pool, they forbid you to take pictures of yourself there. Kind of bizarre. 🥲 Oh, and the breakfast left something to be desired too... But I believe that the complaints are more about the cost benefit, I believe that there are better options in the region with better delivery for the price.

A memorable stay! The dreamy rooms with view of the virgin, just world class! We are deeply impressed - the friendliness and friendliness of the staff – This is no longer obvious today. The new, with much love designed rooms and rooms, the details throughout the house, the flower splendour – unique. Kitchen and service were excellent. We wish the entire team many happy guests. We will come back!

To be honest, the hotel is worth the price. It is a monument renovated in itself. There are still many people who come to visit. It is the commanding height of Tuen, and you can see the snow-capped mountains and the whole city. There are a few points of Ctrip and reviews that seem to be not mentioned: 1. Arriving at the hotel, you need to take the elevator or climb ten floors on foot. 2. Located in the center of the old city, it is not convenient to drag the suitcase. It is a stone road and uneven. I am single travel, the transportation is mainly train, so I am very tired to drag the suitcase to the neighborhood. I am stupid before the steps that can't see the end. I asked the local talents to know that the elevator from the nearby parking lot can be directly reached (-7 floor to 3 floor) breakfast is ordering. The menu is German, the waiter is old and not enthusiastic. It is best that you can eat bread without ordering. I ordered fried eggs, juice and coffee, cheese and stew with my mobile phone translation software. The dining environment is very good, suitable for net red photos. The room facilities are average, the things are well hidden, you have to find them carefully, but you can still stay for one night, the bed is soft.

Great location with 5 minutes walk to the railway station. The hotel provided the shuttle service so it’s very easy to get there. The most surprising thing is the hotel is actually in a famous castle. The vibe was so great! The room was big enough in Europe. There aren’t that many rooms and guests so it’s very quiet as well. The staff here also very friendly always have a smile on their faces. Last thing is try the spa if you need a relaxing time after day off, it’s very private and comfortable. That’s all, I would choose here again if one day I visit Thun again. Thank you!

The environment is very good and the service is good. But the surrounding is relatively remote, the hotel restaurant is general.

We had a delightful stay at the Cambrian and will happily be returning. Having said that, as the Cambrian had been on my list for a loooooong time, I would recommend to consider a 2 things after studying their picture perfect website. The Outdoor Pool. Something like their signature image online. Well it is much smaller than you would think from the marketing images, exposed to the views from the lobby, the restaurant and the terrace and can get very crowded at times. It’s also a popular picture taking spot, which is allowed during specific times of the day, so you can expect hordes of people with their phones and with cameras in the pool. Nonetheless, once you figure out the right times, you can have a peaceful and relaxing dip with beautiful views. The rooms. We booked into a Deluxe Panoramic room. The rooms looked rather spacious on the website without much wide-angle cheating. Our room, on the attic floor however was rather tiny, with only one window and an outside nook that could barely be called a balcony. I am clearly talking out of envy of those people who got the spacious, 2 window, large balcony rooms from the website images, but dear Cambrian, why don’t you just sell the attic rooms (and other potentially rather small rooms) as a slightly cheaper priced compact room to save your guests that envy? Breakfast was fantastic. Huge selection of bread, fruits and ingredients for the best Müsli you could wish for. Dinner was fine, we would recommend to alternate between in-house and dinner in a more traditional place in the village. Btw after I saw someone raising their reviewer’s eyebrow over the miso-cornichons-eggplant - that was absolutely delicious. 4 out of 5 thanks to them raising your expectations to a level that they just can’t fully fulfill.

My pre-requisite for booking any Interlaken hotel for our stay was a minimum 4 star, sauna and a double bed. I love saunas and for me after my daily exercise program a hot sauna is perfect to relax! Your reception staff were excellent on arrival. When I enquired about the sauna, she explained that as long as I notify reception, I can request a sauna at any time. On day one I had a fabulous 86-degree sauna at 7.30am, it was great to have a “proper” heater and not the infra-red heater that are so common nowadays and to relax afterwards in your solarium area. The only comment was the glass door is a real struggle to close and requires attention. On day 2, at around 5.30pm I went to reception to request a 6.30 am sauna the following morning, the male receptionist was attending to a customer. Whilst I was happy to wait , one of his colleagues , the porter asked if he could help me. I explained that I wished to have a sauna the following morning at 6.30 .. He said he would ensure a message was left for the sauna to be ready for me. At 6.30 the following morning I proceeded to the sauna and wellness area to find a cold sauna. The ”double bed” in 101 is shocking- It is 2 single beds pushed together with a double sheet over the top of the two singles. There was a huge depression between the two beds . The bed looks like a roller coaster ! So much for a double bed to snuggle up to my wife in bed ☹ Breakfast overall was very good. The selection is amazing , the fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, and much more ..it did have the wow factor however the bacon and sausage were sat in a pool of fat or oil. (Many of the better hotels tend to put a few slices of bread under the bacon and sausage to soak the excess fat or oil up.) 10/10 for the fabulous Christmas decorations ! I do make a point of reviewing any place that delivers exceptional customer service as much as those that disappoint.

Stayed 4 nights in a junior suite at the Royal St George’s in Interlaken. Modern decor room with a seating area + two seater couch. Furniture shows some wear but overall comfortable. Bathroom was clean and spacious with standing shower stall and a separate bath. Breakfast spread was decent. Service staff were earnest but not sufficiently trained. We arrived at 630am for the start of breakfast and the service staff said they were expecting a large group that morning and insisted we could only be seated at a section without windows. As a paying guest, I did not appreciate my business was deprioritized for group travelers. As it turned out, when I left at 7am, no groups in sight as yet. Reception and check in staff were brilliant and special mention to Sebastian who was helpful with information on the area including dinner reservations, arranged our speedy check in and check out. He’s the top employee. Hotel location is a brisk 5mins walk to Interlaken Ost or 10mins stroll. Will return.

Stepping into the hotel gives people a feeling of the Grand Budapest Hotel. The decoration facilities are quite modern, but they are very clean. The door locks are still keyed, which is very special. It seems that the building of the hotel has a history of 100 years, and the scenery in the room is so beautiful. The hotel is also very convenient to Interlaken East Railway Station. It takes 5-8 minutes to walk. There are Chinese restaurants nearby, which are expensive and taste average. The prices in Switzerland are really vomiting blood.

The hotel is relatively small, the town may be relatively small, the scenery is okay, like a bigger one, it is recommended not to choose this Spiez in the town. It ’s okay. The hotel on the Zermatt hill where we live is the most pit The most pit, only more pit, do not come to live, okay! ”Zermatt's Little Red Book Hotel-River 1853” The experience was so bad, so had to let me magnify all its shortcomings We stayed for 3 nights and didn't change the sheets every day? I really heard it for the first time, and the room did n’t drink any water. [Goodbye] The good skiing mood also caused the waiter to be destroyed. Is it hygienic and also says our luggage is too messy? ”What? I'm spending your money compared to my house, so what do I want you to do? A hotel with more than 6,000 nights, the rooms are so small, and the large beds are also spliced, so we have n’t left yet. It ’s normal for the luggage to be messy. Here comes the point, why add water? what? 3 francs, equivalent to 21rmb, huh, I can sue you in China, this is the most tm irritated, irritable liver tremor, go to the restaurant for dinner without water, even if you order tea for money, heat the water after tea Want more money? [Crazy] In the end, this is the open-air bath. So sometimes the Internet celebrity is really very harmful. We thought it was beautifully set for 3 nights. The strength to step into the pit is also the strength to avoid the pit for everyone! This is the only big black spot on our trip to Switzerland. The worst experience [weak] However, I'm going to leave tomorrow, and I feel that they have discriminated against Chinese a little bit after spending 3 days together.
