"This is, no doubts, the best hotel in the city. Luxurious, great rooms, great breakfast, not superb, but very good service. Stunning views over the Old City. Especially worth noting is the excursion around Old town and the vicinity, which the hotel provides to its guests for free on Fri and Sat. The guide, an archeologist by profession, was extremely knowledgeable and intelligent, he showed us places, that we would never discover on our own, although we thought we know Jerusalem inside out. Hу told us so much about the history of the city and the nation. I hope the hotel maintain this services, it makes the stay truly unique."
"We stayed at the King David because we usually do when visiting Jeruselum. It is sort of a tradition. Unfortunately the King is no longer the riening monarch it used to be. The hotel did not come through Covid unscathed. It lost half its staff and now has many trainees now. The service has not suffered however the physical building is 91 years old and shows its wear. The property needs a ton of cash invested in capital projects to make it competitive. There are 4 new hotels finished in the last few years and another on the way. However the King is the only one pursuing the luxury market. "
"Hi We were a group of a few friends that had hiked in Jerusalem for the day and entered King David Hotel to drink coffee. The staff was very friendly and invited us to join a tour at the hotel with the amazing guide Ron. Many stories about the hotel which are as the story of Israel. We finished the tour at the roof top and had enjoyed the overlook at the old city of Jerusalem. The tour was very interesting and free of money. You can do it too! Naama"

"We have been customers of Accor hotels for many years and are usually very satisfied. Not quite so this time for this 8-night stay... The positives * Excellent location, perfectly central * Comfortable bedding * Good quality creamy washing solution provided in the bathroom * Contrary to certain comments, breakfast was varied and enjoyable The negatives * Despite the email I'd received confirming my prepayment, we were greeted by the news that this was incorrect and we must pay the complete sum on arrival .. long difficult discussion with the receptionist and the manager who finally accepted to give us temporary access to our room while they and we verified with our banks. After a few days, the hotelier debited the agreed sum and, as I couldn't reach my banker, I finally decided to trust the hotel. * The "Superior" room was tiny * No wardrobe, just three hooks on the wall and a few plastic hangers attached to the side of a shelf * Little sound insulation from the street and other rooms * Air conditioning difficult to adjust * Bathroom constantly cold.. unpleasantly so for showering * Shower head and pressure excellent .. but water often ranging from icy to not even warm * No shower cap or products, other than a dispenser with washing cream * We didn't find the pillows comfortable"
"This hotel is perfectly located near the old city. It is only a mere 1 kilometer from the Jaffa Gate into Old Jerusalem (about 0.6 miles). It is on a pedestrian street full of outdoor cafes, restaurants and stores, not to mention only about 50 meters from the famous Jaffa Street with even more options to eat, shop and access to local transportation. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone I interacted with at the hotel spoke very good English. I strongly recommend this hotel for service, value and location."
"We are extremely pleased with this hotel. The location is very nice , right on Ben Yahude and near lots of cafes and shops. It is an easy walk to the light rail and the Old City. Ibis rooms are well designed and this location is no exception. We have enjoyed a comfortable bed and quiet. TV choices are good. Rooms are clean and have been well kept during our stay. For Israel, this is tremendous value."

"There are many varieties of breakfast, small snacks and red wine are provided free of charge in the room, there is a free bar on the second floor, the room is quite large, the surrounding environment has restaurants and shopping malls, and the room is relatively clean."
"There are many varieties of breakfast, the hotel is relatively central, there are restaurants and shopping malls around, the rooms are bigger, the sofa can become a bed, and whether the hotel has a parking lot is not clear."
"Great location; very close to the old town of Jaffa. The service is very good; the breakfast is rich. Despite the small size of the room, the family executive parent-child room is slightly compact."

"If I could add a few stars I would. I just returned from a 12-day stay. The service is 10 stars. They are all so helpful and kind that I feel like I am family with them every time I go back. It was my third stay and it was magical. Ihab the manager was superb in every way, Jerry the dining room manager made sure I was taken care of daily, and Aaron was the best waiter every morning. Mamoun made sure I had the table and location just right for each meal over the holidays, All the concierge help including Matan were above and beyond, Yael a manager in housekeeping could not do enough for us, Achmad who did my daily room service was the nicest and so pleasant to work with. Adnan the doorman was so warm and helpful and always with a smile. The food was delicious, and the flowers in the hotel were stunning. Paul gave a wonderful hot stone massage. The views from my balcony were breathtaking. All in all, it was wonderful and I look forward to going back. Thank you all!!"
"I just spent 4 nights at the Waldorf over Passover. This is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in Israel and one of my faves ever in terms of comfort, decor, and service. Our room was beautiful and classy while modern. Bathrobes, slippers, feather duvets, bottle water and chocolates. The service at this hotel was incredible. They called just to make sure everything was ok and to wish us a good holiday. They randomly came up with snacks, chocolates and souvenirs. I highly recommend staying here - and it is across the street from the Mamilla mall and in walking distance to the old city."
"I’ve been staying at the Waldorf since it opened average twice a year. I Allways complemented hotel management for their great service however this last stay was not the regular Waldorf stay. On 10 Tevet a fasting day Arrangements were made instead of breakfast room service will send sandwiches after sundown however it took more then an hour and half to arrive. If they would have told me in advance that they are short staffed I would have made other arrangements to break my fast. No operator was reachable after 10.00 pm It took hours to have someone pickup my shoes for a shoe shine Slippers were not supplied in the room I requested and did not receive it No shoe horn brush etc. pen quality went down down The beautiful Waldorf shopping bag was not supplied. In general this was not Waldorf service at most like a 2 star hotel. I loved the hotel and sincerely hope they will make the WaldorfGreat again"

"This relatively new hotel, one-stop only by the light train from the Jerusalem Central railway station is a fine hotel for visitors who prefer smaller, boutique-type hotels over the fancy and considerably more expensive ones. Regrettably, during our visit, most probably due to the ongoing pandemic, only a few guests were there. The rooms are modern and well equipped, a bit small but still pretty convenient. The buffet breakfast is good and plentiful and the staff friendly, but needs more training, particularly the reception concerning information on transportation to and from the hotel to the city's main attractions. The great advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the main arteries of the city, having a light train and bus stops just in front of the hotel. Room rates during our visit were moderate. A tip, a pretty nice coffee shop, and a mini-market are very close to the hotel. Overall, highly recommended."
"We stayed here for 3 nights as a part of a tour group. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Israel. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with an elegant fragrance that introduces you to the rest of this amazing hotel! What is that fragrance? The rooms were clean, and well appointed. The hotel made our stay extra special as our daughter celebrated her 17th birthday there. They filled the room with balloons and left nice chocolates and a plate of fruits! Thank you! I appreciate the coffee station away from the TV hutch in it’s own location. Bathroom amenities were too notch as well! Excellent selection for breakfast and plenty of seating!"
"Would have been perfect but for owners grandson who is rude and arrogant. Yonathan Ochana needs to understand the meaning of hospitality. To prevent a disabled person from gaining access at ground level is deplorable. What is worse the man thinks he is right."
