"I have already paid room fees and taxes on Ctrip, and I have to pay another 24 dollars a day in taxes to the hotel, parking fees, the hotel’s buffet is 29 dollars, the menu is the same every day, overall, the stay is quite comfortable, the choice of meals is not the same Variety of Las Vegas"
"Very nice hotel with good hardware facilities. There are multiple restaurants and the food is delicious. Easy parking. There is a boardwalk out of the hotel and a small playground. Also close to the sea"
"Very good stay vacation experience! There are many restaurants to eat here, and they are very selective! The fitness center and swimming pool will end at 6pm! Everything else is fine & # 128077;"

"The hotel is okay. You can see the glory of the past. There are not many people and not many tourists. Among the sparse people, I actually met a few Chinese people. Haha, it seems that the footprints of the Chinese people are everywhere. ."
"Good location, Cantonese cuisine made by Dongfeng Chinese Restaurant in the hotel is delicious."
"The hotel is on the beach and the environment is well equipped."

"We booked this room through Booking.com because it was inexpensive for a Friday into Saturday night stay. This small motel is a half block back from the boardwalk. And directly across the street from Resorts. If you stay on the second floor facing the parking lot, you can see the ocean. There are no elevators at this property and it has exterior entrances. It is a little outdated if you care about that sort of thing. Our room was clean. The heater worked. We couldn't connect to the Wifi; it wasn't worth complaining about. My daughter connected to the Resorts free Wifi. The walls are thin and we could others talking in their room. One of the things I didn't like was the connecting door in our room didn't seem to shut properly. The best thing about this hotel is location, it really is close to everything. And since parking is included, you don't have to worry about driving around and paying for parking. The front desk guy was very nice. He said good morning to me the following morning. If you are on a budget and want to be close to the beach and boardwalk, then you might find this place acceptable."
"Very friendly staff. Great location. Price is unbeatable. Free coffee. Steps away from beach and casino. Oh and the new look is great. Large walking showers. They upgraded the property and kept prices the same . You can't beat that."
"Okay here I am reading many of the reviews. For me the Rodeway Inn on NC Ave was just fine. I've stayed at many of the Motels in AC and now thinking this Rodeway Inn may be my number one choice when in that area. It's not a 5 star place so don't expect it."

"It is one of the better hotels in Atlantic City. The facilities are good and pretty, but there is an additional Internet fee for staying. Helpless Atlantic City is relatively depressed, but the overall value for money is really high, especially for non-weekend hotel prices, which is great."
"good environment. Very clean. It is very convenient to go to the place to eat next to it. The hotel is quite new. Service attitude is also very good. The room was clean, comfortable and the size was right. The toilet was a bit small."

"This place is okay for a last-minute, one night stay. We only paid $30 a night so I wasn't surprised that it was outdated, filthy, and small. Only some outlets worked and the bed would squeak any time you moved. I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone."
"This place is not worth it at all. Paid almost $400 for a place and it was disgusting. Booked online through booking and got there and it is not close to any kind of activity except the park and is a low grade motel. Didn't want to get under the covers."

"Stay at this paradise & skip lodging in Atlantic City or Ocean City!!! So happy to have stumbled across Tavern on the Bay when searching for a pet friendly hotel near Atlantic City and now my boyfriend and I are planning our next trip to the Shore JUST to stay at Tavern on the Bay again! I found this Victorian mansion gem on Expedia as at the pet friendly hotels in Atlantic City were crazy expensive/sold out. It was a blessing though because we would’ve never ventured into Somers Point which is <25 minutes away from AC. Sam, the owner was so responsive and made himself available. We arrived late due to traffic and he graciously stayed up an hour past check in to give us the tour of the boat we were staying. The vintage yacht is amazing and spacious that it puts my Manhattan apt to shame. It’s also being featured in the Philadelphia Magazine soon! The bed is super comfortable and the AC cooled up the whole bottom floor. The old record player really added to the charm of the boat. The top part of the boat was so spacious and a great place to watch the sunrise. I would totally recommend staying on the boat which you even get privately chartered! Sam and Tavern on the Bay also offers a slew of rentals (jet skis, boards, etc.) for a funfilled weekend. On our last night, we stay in the Al Capone room which was perfect because we had access to the top patio overlooking the bay. We brought our dinner from the amazing Smitty’s Clamhouse on the patio during sunset and it was perfect. The next day I bumped into Sam early in the morning on the patio where he was painting. Definitely buy his artwork which he also features at Art Basel! Aside from the nearby clam bar, I do recommend eating at the Tavern on the Bay restaurant as well. The views are outstanding and the happy hour is great. The waitress was busy so Sam selflessly came outside to serve us in the middle of eating his lunch. What a guy! One of the managers, Caleb was great and super friendly too!"
"So, the Tavern on the Bay looked promising from the photos, but if you are expecting a hotel or B&B experience, this is not it. I booked a room via e-mail, I confirmed it via e-mail and checking in was still problematic. They did not have my reservation or room correct. For $125 per night, I expect a bit more organization and service. There is no one in the building during the day other than guests. The staff arrive at 4 PM when the restaurant and bar open. Room was small and clean, and decorated in keeping with the 1880's building, but not the one I requested. While they are pet friendly, $50 per pet per night is extremely high. I don't mind paying a bit more to bring my pets with me but this is too much. Having said that, they did allow us to bring two large dogs so I am grateful for that. The restaurant and bar staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. But no one came to clean our room until after 4 PM when we wanted to relax after a busy day. I don't fault the housekeeper, she was very nice. They just need better management and scheduling if they are going to accept guests for their rooms. The direct views of the bay and marina from all rooms via the exterior deck were great."
"Tavern on the Bay Resort has one of the best locations in Somers Point. It is in a lovely historic building with an unsurpassed view. It is also walking distance to the local concert venue. It is difficult to get on line dates you need for your stay here. Best to call directly and book personally asking the receptionist for their name. They seem to sometimes have organizational difficulties. That being said the place is super clean and beautiful."
