Advantages: 1. Excellent location, the main attractions can be reached on foot, there are many good German restaurants around. 2. The breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. Although there is only one restaurant (Italian cuisine), the hotel tastes good. There are different Rieslings in the wine list. 3. The high-rise room can see the scenery, it is beautiful. Disadvantages: 1. The room has no master control and needs to turn off the lights. 2. There are too few plugs in the room, which is inconvenient.

The hotel is refurbished from the old building. It has a European feel. It is close to the attractions, the rooms are high and high, there are slippers, the quality is very good, the service attitude is also very good, to explain the usage of each place in the room, but Personal reasons are still not particularly adapted or liked

It was good to be back in Berlin after three years, and to mark the occasion, a friend suggested we do something outrageous. Like partake in a dish that's ubiquitously Berlin, but at an awesome setting and similarly astronomical price. A quick Google search pointed us to the Adlon Kempinski's currywurst, served at the lobby lounge. We were not disappointed. Large serving of sausages came sprinkled with real gold flakes. Glad to have had some historical Berliner cuisine and glad to have paid those prices. The hotel is super!

I was hier 3 days for the business because I was hier for one congress. The location and staff very good and very helpful and professional. The breakfast was the best ever in my life and I think the best in Berlin. The price was not cheap but for all your money you have everything! Excellent! Thanks a lot!!

After arriving in retro style, I realized that this hotel was much better than I imagined. The room was very clean and it was very convenient to the city and the subway. If you are a couple or a family of three or four, you can choose from different room types. This time I stayed in a one-room apartment with a small kitchen, which was suitable for a short trip. Value for money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The decoration style of the entire hotel is very unique. The hotel gym also has a sauna and swimming pool. The restaurant on the first floor is also very good. I didn't go to the garden because the weather was too cold. I want to come here again next time. There is a brunch shop nearby that is also delicious. See another recommendation on my homepage for details.

Well appointed clean hotel in central location close to S Bahn station. Short walk to Potsdamer platz and Brandenburg gate. The waiting staff were very helpful but we felt the house keeping was below expectations. Small shower gel etc not replenished and towels removed and not replaced. We would go back , but take our own toiletries next time and that’s not what you expect from a hotel of this standard.

This is my 6th visit here. I am in the travel industry, with very high end clients, which make it very hard to be me, being very critical of all things. This hotel is my choice for 2 major reasons. The location in Grünewald is excellent, but above all stands the staff. Levon I have known since the very first time arriving here, and I am hard on him, but MY LORD he is up to the task and rises above everything. He is the backbone of this hotel. Another person I want to give honors is Didi, friendly and helpful in any way. I travel with my dog, always have done that - and this is actually is not so easy, as some rooms categories are not accommodating us. Although - in rooms with hardwood floors, that should not be an issue. I am happy to pay for a total cleaning of the room after we leave. My dog lives with me in a very beautiful vila, with fantastic furnitures and tapetseries. Nothing is destroyed and the only thing in need of often changing, is the bed linnen. Well, this is of course a question to be put to the owners - but the staff, once again - LEVON is doing all they possibly can.

I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here again if I come to this city again.Thank you.Sincerely yours a guest.

My recent stay at SO/Berlin Das Stue was nothing short of exceptional, as this luxurious boutique hotel truly surpassed my expectations in terms of style, comfort, and personalized service. Nestled in the elegant embassy district of Berlin, this architectural gem offers a unique blend of contemporary design, art, and comfort. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel's distinctive aesthetic. The sleek and modern interiors, adorned with carefully curated artwork and tasteful furnishings, create an atmosphere of sophistication and artistic flair. The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, from the striking sculptures to the meticulously designed lighting fixtures. The rooms at SO/Berlin Das Stue are a perfect combination of elegance and functionality. The modern amenities, including a Nespresso machine, a well-stocked minibar, and a state-of-the-art entertainment system, ensured that every comfort was met. The bathrooms, with their luxurious rain showers and premium toiletries, added a touch of indulgence to the overall experience. One of the standout features of this hotel is the impeccable service provided by the staff. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, the staff members demonstrated a genuine commitment to ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Their knowledge of the local area, including restaurant recommendations and transportation tips, was invaluable in helping me make the most of my time in Berlin. Culinary delights await guests at SO/Berlin Das Stue. The hotel's restaurant, Cinco by Paco Pérez, offers an exquisite dining experience, combining Mediterranean and Catalan flavors in innovative ways. The dishes, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors, showcase the culinary expertise of the renowned chef. The hotel's bar, The Stue Bar, is a stylish spot to unwind with a carefully crafted cocktail or a glass of fine wine, accompanied by live music that adds to the vibrant ambiance. If you are seeking a unique and memorable stay in Berlin, I highly recommend experiencing the enchanting atmosphere of SO/Berlin Das Stue.

Overall I would say that this hotel absolutely delivered what it promised. Our room, with huge (opening) windows that overlooked the street, was gorgeous and luxurious, exceeding my expectations and delivering very good value for money in Berlin. We loved the neighbourhood (and the tree lined street) and a combination of walking and the tram got us to where we needed to go. The pool was closed for a conference during our visit but it was clearly flagged on the website that this might happen. I didn’t even see the pool as I think it is covered to create a meeting space. Very cool! So regarding the pool, it’s a gamble. You know that going in! We parked onsite for a reasonable fee and the hotel’s location made driving in and out of Berlin easy. Staff were helpful when approached but not particularly warm and friendly. But they must get sick of Australians asking to go in the pool! There’s a popular bar onsite which is nice - it’s nice to be in a place where people want to go. I’d stay again for the lovely room and the very Berlin location!

We visit Berlin at least once a year to visit family and we believe we have now found our go to hotel. It is well priced for the quality of accommodation in a good area close to many restaurants and independent shops but also very close to the tram stop to more central areas. We spent a very comfortable 3 nights in a good sized room with excellent shower room overlooking the street. Excellent breakfast, very helpful staff and of course the pool which my husband used and even he said it was quite bracing! We particularly enjoyed the bar with its log fire - a welcome pit stop after a busy day before going out to eat. All in all a first class stay and we shall return and indeed recommend.

We just spent 5 nights at the Regent. We booked their least expensive room and it was still fabulous. This is one of those hotels that does everything right. The hotel lobby and the rooms are elegant and yet not stuffy. The staff is totally friendly to everyone - from the business people in the breakfast rooms right on over to us traveler types in our polar fleece and REI travel pants:) Breakfast is excellent. The beds are comfortable, the sheets high quality. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are incredible. Full tub, large shower, big mirrors, good lighting. The toiletries are L’Occitane. There’s a high-end coffee maker and pods. The locations is perfect. We did a ton of walking - and in walking, I saw many of the other Berlin hotels I had considered in my research. None of the other locations is this perfect - especially for a first-time tourist to Berlin. We could walk to Museum Island in under 10 minutes. 10 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate. 10 minutes to the Checkpoint Charlie area. I cannot compliment the Regent enough. It is one of those rare hotels that just did it all right for us.

Stayed for three nights in mid December. It's a very opulent hotel, and while the decor is definitely not our usual style, we found it utterly charming. Our room was very large, but also cosy, and luxurious. We had breakfast each morning, which was delicious, and also enjoyed a drink in the little bar which was perfect after a day out in the cold. Location-wise the hotel is just off Gendarmenmarkt, which is my favourite place to be based in Berlin. Would very much recommend the hotel for anyone visiting the city.

Right from the Ritz Carlton sign, stayed here for four nights and the service was very good. Breakfast is rich in Europe, and the fruit is very varied, and the bread is not hard.

TLDR: The Hotel Luc met minimum expectations of a luxury hotel, but its management failed to address a simple incident, ultimately impacting a very meaningful trip, during which I got engaged. When planning my recent trip to Berlin, I debated between Hotel Luc and the Westin, ultimately choosing the former. Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Luc has left me regretting this decision. A luxury boutique hotel should excel in room decor, cleanliness, accessible amenities, and courteous staff. However, what truly sets a luxury hotel apart is its management's ability to provide tailored service to guests in handling incidents or requests. So what happened? I got engaged on this trip and wanted to capture the moment in photos around Berlin. Excitedly putting on my favorite cotton dress shirt, I used the hotel iron on the cotton setting. Shockingly, the iron burned huge hole in my shirt, turning the fabric into plastic that stuck to the iron. Immediately, I reported the incident to the front desk, who directed me to email the manager. The manager’s response: “I am very sorry that your shirt apparently could not withstand the heat of the iron and was irreparably damaged. However, I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you a refund/ reimbur*****t for this. The use of irons in the room is at your own risk and we are not liable in this case. As it concerns the rear collar area, I hope that you will receive goodwill from the manufacturer by explaining the situation and explicitly pointing out that you have only selected the lowest ironing heat - this may change the liability towards the manufacturer.” In summary, the hotel manager: - Refuses to admit the iron was faulty - Denied any liability - Shifted blame to the clothing manufacturer (Bonobos) - Suggests that I should lie to the clothing manufacturer about the iron setting Upon returning to the US, I filed a complaint with Marriott, which accidentally directed my complaint to the wrong hotel (Moxy). Despite the error, Moxy, an international Marriott brand, promptly offered reimbur*****t, no questions asked. When I corrected the mistake and told them it was the Hotel Luc that was liable, the Hotel Luc manager continued to deny responsibility. A few takeaways from this: - Stay at a larger international brand when traveling abroad for better support - The Hotel Luc failed to address common incident, refusing accountability, while an international brand quickly addressed the issue While the Hotel Luc met my minimum expectations of a luxury hotel, its management’s failure to address a simple request ultimately impacted a very meaningful trip.

What a great hotel! Staying in the first 2 months after opening has always been a risky endeavor in our travels, but the Hotel Luc has knocked it out of the park. Incredible service, beautiful artwork, delicious food - everything was perfectly executed to give us a great 3-night stay. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. I also had a great view of the neighboring square. The attached restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner with fresh local food and great service. A champagne check-in always sets the right tone, and from there, every interaction with every staff member was fun, engaging, and helpful. They went above and beyond to the point where you start to feel a bit guilty as if you don’t deserve to be spoiled this way. But hey, who can complain about feeling like a Queen or a King for a few days! Would definitely stay here again!
