It’s probably not possible to list all the details that made our visit to Nana Princess so especially memorable… the attention to detail throughout is truly endless! Lovely welcome, easy, quick, yet very personalised check in, buggy tour of the resort etc. very helpful and welcoming. While the exceptionally well kept room with all its gadgets and amenities was fabulous we spent a lot of time at the hotels beach and pool cabanas where we were treated like royalty with towels being laid out and complimentary water being delivered upon arrival and further drinks at a press of a button… worth noting it wasn’t often necessary to lift a finger and press the button as Elina would pop by asking if we needed anything, Elina at the pool bar made our holiday with her proactive professional yet great humoured hospitality! The cosmetics provided both in the room and the public areas were superb. And I love that re usable hand towels were even placed in the pool/beach toilets and that all areas were so clean! Always!! I’m not sure I can speak too much about the food as I may get emotional…. Every bite of food let alone every meal was just soooo GOOD! Konsantina looked after us at lunch most days and we always looked forward to seeing her and seeking advice on our next meal! Tomahawk and T bone were in the top 3 steaks ever eaten by myself and husband it was declared.… whole fish (dorado) was lovely too but despite the lovely ambiance we didn’t get the same personal vibe from the fish restaurant so only ate there once. Greek night at Meet in point was epic…… special thank you to the wonderful service manager and Elina for this! General appointment of the hotel, its amenities and food is phenomenal but the culture and ethos that is clearly visible through the staff is obviously what makes this place special. I think we may be back!

Pnoé Breathing Life is on its fifth month open as of this writing and so it’s still brand new and working out a few kinks here and there. But overall I would say this is as 5 star an experience as you can expect. I got it at a very good price for low season but I am sure those prices will be much higher when they reopen in the spring. My room had a private pool and lots of space. It is the lowest tier room they have but still had a walk in rain shower, desk, outside seating areas, plenty of closet space and tons of drawers and storage. The room is state of the art. So much so it’ll be a bit much for those of you who are not very technologically advanced. Every little detail it’s obvious they spared no expense on both design and execution of this resort. Things like the TV in the room being a mirror TV (very nice) or all the tables and chairs throughout the resort being of high quality. Breakfast is a palatial buffet spread with so many choices. I enjoyed having my eggs and coffee each morning there. The staff are very warm and inviting and after a while they knew to have my coffee ready when they saw me coming. The beach is very quiet with exquisite sea views. I like a quiet beach but if you’re looking for a lively fun beach this is not that. The spa is state of the art. I’ve never seen some of the advances in there. I was very impressed. I think I got 3 spa treatments and a pedicure. Spyros provides top notch professional customer service. I saw him so much I felt like I got to know him. I would say my only criticisms is the flooring outside. They tiled the entire grounds which is an expensive and beautiful feat but it also makes for slippery grounds. I think they will probably come to regret that. They should’ve just done wood or even gravel I think would make more sense. If you’re very old or infirm you have to walk very carefully so you don’t slip and fall. I am sure it’s something they will address at some point in the future. The food at the restaurants was excellent. I’d say 5 star quality food. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat this is the hotel for you. I ended up not leaving at all the last four days I was there. For me I think getting around Crete is expensive without any Uber here. If you’re looking to be in the middle of the action this hotel is not really that close to it unless you’re renting a car. $25 euros each way to the city or $50 to Hersonnius each way is steep. When I return to Crete I think I’ll just get a car or learn the bus system. I wouldn’t say I’m on a tight budget but $50-$100 a day for transport adds up fast of course. Anyway I hope you check out this beautiful hotel. If you’re American or English speaking you’ll find it very easy to visit. Staff speaks great English and many of them can even speak good conversational English too.

It was our first time in this hotel. Everything was perfect. They welcomed us with the best way. All the staff are very kind. We had a very nice room with a pool that was cleaned every day. The food was very tasty and you had the possibility for a different meal every day. We also visited the spa and the girls in the desk Lena and Katerina were very helpful. We choose the Kind and Queen where Christos and Chris's gave it to us where we can say that it was the bast massage we have ever had. I also visited the hair salon and Renia she is very good and very kind. It was great. We will definitely come back!!!

The hotel facilities are very good and new, the swimming is a highlight, and the sunset is especially beautiful. The recliners by the pool need to take a seat in the morning, the towels provided by the recliners and the seat covers are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is romantic and the food is delicious. Hotel service staff try their best to provide services, but seems to be insufficient skills, questions can not be answered in time, need patience, etc. Overall very recommended hotel
