This is a very small, centrally located hotel in the center of Perugia. Everything is nearby. The hotel itself was very nice; the room relatively comfortable -- more about that in the next sentence -- the staff very pleasant. Now for the ”relatively comfortable” factor. The a/c does not go below 19C, and the windows have drapes -- not blinds or shades -- which cover the air conditioner blower. As a result, the occupant has a choice; leave the drapes open to get the full benefit of the a/c as well as the bright sunlight, or close the drapes in order to darken the room as well as increasing the room temperature. With 95F temps every day, I would not stay here again in the summer although I would any other time of year.

The hotel is newly renovated and in a great location. Because we booked late our room was the most expensive with a terrace and Jacuzzi. However using it was complicated so we did not use it. The hotel is actually located on a pedestrian street but cars can drop you off and pick you up very close by. We highly recommend the hotel. The little train that takes you around Perugia is close by. We were very happy here.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center.
My room was small, but cosy. There is a decent pool with wet and finnish sauna.
The breakfast service needs improvement, as well as cleaning.

The location is very good, just below the city center, the hotel needs to go to a platform, a hotel in Italy, very close to the bus station, due to traffic problems, it only arrives at 12 o'clock in the evening, but there are people receiving it, very patient, and the facilities in the house are also praised of

Nice structure. nice staff. There are adequate services. However, full outdoor parking Saturday night due to the restaurant's customers so much that they can't park. In addition, when we arrived the room was cold: I think if guests arrive, the environment must be prepared to be comfortable (and this also takes into account the hotel level and the costs). The spa with heated swimming pool, sauna and very nice Turkish bathroom (pay).

Posta Donini 1579 is a nice location with a friendly staff. Staff was very willing to reply to my questions about the previous events at the Hotel. The ambient was very delightful and the rooms were clean, well furnished and roomy. Despite a slight and bearable noise from the swimming pool, I could sleep very well. Thank you!

I stayed a night in this hotel, except that I died cold because the heat was out. The morning afterwards, I arrived at breakfast at 10 and 4 minutes, so exactly after 4 minutes the time of breakfast was closed. Now, considering that there was a change in the legal time and that, in theory, we would all have sleeped a hour less, considering that we are in hotels not in prison and we expect to be treated gentlely, It was very unpleasant to see that breakfast was closed, the food was all over, but above all to hear the room manager almost “should scream” because it was late and had to come earlier. “Now you eat what is because I've served 100 people before you...no more at this time,” I quote. I recensed the problem at the reception but it had no kind of check-out (not that it was helpful to cover the problem, but it would be kind from the management).

I stayed for work in this building. Very comfortable at the arrival from the highway, the building is historic but well maintained. I didn't enjoy spa and extra, but many services were still to be paid separately. Breakfast in the standard, clean rooms, staff available enough. In general good even though I had expected a little more from a 4-star.

I stayed for Umbria jazz and was amazing all the staff..the room...faboulus breakfast...so clean so quiet!! There a plus ..the bus that tales you for free to Santa Giuliana Arena for concerts and back every hour from 5 p.m. and back every hour too..in the same plaza you take the elevator for center so this bus is a great great thing!! So nice!!!

It’s very clean and well priced but the theming was not to our taste but some will love it. The breakfast is not up to par, and whilst the food was good at the restaurant for dinner the girl who seated us was quite abrupt and rude. She seemed annoyed we didn’t have a reservation even though we’d just checked in a few hours prior. The location would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues if they want to spend lots of time in the old town. Whilst the mini metro is fun and walking distance it is a very steep hill and novelty wears off after two days. It was quiet and parking was good so if your are in a budget and want a central location to drive to all the surrounding medieval old towns then this might work for you but be warned, the jazz and wine theme does leave you feeling like the place is older and tackier than it actually is…..it’s a classic, less it more sometimes.
