Suite life at Rittenhouse hotel! A wonderful relaxing getaway night at a hotel that exceeds expectations on all fronts. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the kids had a blast at the pool (pool toys behind a door near the entrance of the pool), delicious breakfast and dinner (kids raved about the butter beer from the Library Bar - better than Universal Studio’s version!), within walking distance to shopping and sites, and Patricia at the front desk was super helpful. Worth it to visit Philly again just for a stay at the Rittenhouse hotel!

The room size is smaller than the average Ritz-Carlton hotel, which is quite satisfactory, no surprises and no disappointment.

Beds are SUPER HARD & uncomfortable. No cable, air conditioning is loud and if you have kids you have no access to the restaurants because you have to enter off of the ****** floor & they don't allow it and only 1 of the restaurants (The Asian one) offers room service. Very inconvenient when they can just create an outside lane using their Velvet ropes or a specific entrance. I shouldn't have to doordash food or travel to eat out in a hotel with 5 restaurants so that I can eat with my kid....did I mention she was 20 and still wouldn't allow her to go get pizza because she wasn't 21.

My daughter, dog, and I recently returned from a trip to Philly. We chose the Hotel Monaco because it was conveniently located right next to Independence Hall and because it's pet friendly. I shot an e-mail to the concierge regarding some concerns I had (my daughter has special needs). Rashid, the concierge, went above and beyond to make our trip the most memorable vacation to-date. The rooms are clean, you can't find a better location, the staff is lovely and accommodating, the hotel is gorgeous, and the concierge is one in a million. By the end of our trip, he was like family. There's no doubt in my mind that Hotel Monaco is OUR hotel for every future stay. My family was worried to see their daughter and granddaughter go alone so far away. Rashid made sure we had a safe and enjoyable experience from the moment our plane touched down, and my parents felt so much better knowing there were people in town watching out for us. Invaluable! I'll be telling the story of this trip for the rest of my life and Rashid will be the Right Hand Man in my story who made our trip so memorable. I can never repay the kindness and care he gave us, but I hope this review will make him smile. The Hotel Monaco has changed my perception of what a hotel should be, and I have to say, I'm spoiled and dying to return!

My fiancé and I stayed at Kimpton Palomar for 2 nights in September. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! The hotel is located right in center city, very walkable to anything you would need. Our room was very comfy, spacious, and we had a luxury spa bathroom. I highly recommend booking a room with the spa bathroom. We had a deep jacuzzi tub that overlooked the city and amazing views from the shower. We will 100% be back to stay with Kimpton Palomar in Philly!

Excellent stay from beginning to end! Property was ideally located right outside the city and adjacent to the University of Penn. I really appreciated the adequate supply of good restaurants and the youthful vibe. Deno at the front desk was professional, personable, affable, knowledgeable and accommodating. I came in earlier than check in time due to a red eye flight that I had taken. He gave me a room that just happened to be cleaned and available. Thanks that allowed me to catch up on a couple hours of sleep which really helped make a difference in my trip👍👍 Breakfast was excellent! I will definitely return and this is from a 13 year former head-waiter at a Ritz Carlton in California who knows what service is about. Great job again for exceeding my expectations!!👍👍👍

It’s a very modern style hotel!! The hotel was close to all the food, restaurants, and stores. We would just walk and we brought our dog he loved the room we were in very comfy. Definitely recommend!! It was our first time in Philly good experience.

We’re so glad we found a comfortable and friendly hotel in Philly when visiting our kids who attend a nearby college. Our last stay was fantastic, thanks to hotel manager Nicole and her excellent team, who really made us feel at home. Our room was perfect and it was so nice that they were able to accommodate our request for a certain floor and view. We were even welcomed back with a handwritten note in our room. We are most likely forgetting some of the wonderful team members here, but Montrose, Alesha, Sheyenne, and Daoud were really helpful and very friendly at the front desk and concierge desk. Also great were Jackie, Teresa, and others in the club lounge. Service in the club lounge was excellent, even when things got busy, and the food was good, too, with a number of options to choose from. Between the friendly staff, personal attention, and proximity to both university city and center city, we know we will be back!
