"We stayed at the Hotel San Paolo al Convento in Trani for 4 nights in late October. The room was spacious and afforded the best view in Trani over the harbour and the cathedral. Our stay was part of a small group tour and we all stayed in the hotel where we slept and all had breakfasts each morning. The actual building within which the hotel is located is obviously historically significant and that with its location added to its charm along with its carpets which must be retained because of their possible historical significance. I would return if I again visited southern Italy as this city is central to many other interesting places."
"Last minute reservations.. wedding going on down the street and no parking anywhere ... I parked in a no parking zone .. the desk clerk suggested I try down the street .. he walked out with me then ran down the street to hold a parking place so I could park .. beyond any expectations I had .. I’m soo impressed ..the rooms are comfortable and the provided breakfast was wonderful.. "
"This is a truly lovely hotel! The desk clerk was a joy who went above and beyond the call of duty during our check in. Breakfast was delicious! The room was very comfortable! We would recommend the Hotel San Paolo without reservation!"

Via Vecchia Spinazzola, 41, Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, Apulia, Italy
"Stayed here last week for two nights as a party of three couples when attending Trani for a wedding. Place is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect place for a small group of friends/couples to go for a relaxing retreat. Rooms were beautifully decorated to a high standard - modern and recently done out but still maintaining the original character. Plus all have aircon. After checking into our rooms we were welcomed with refreshing ice tea and enjoyed these relaxing around the pool. Breakfast was lovely - continental breakfast and when half of the party advised them they were vegan they went over and above to accommodate and give vegan alternatives which was much appreciated. We didn’t get back from the wedding until 3am but that wasn’t an issue and seemed to be standard for an Italian wedding! They even put on breakfast slightly later for us which was very accommodating. We had one morning of complete chilled pool time. Towels were provided and the option of refreshments went down well - a bucket of Peroni beers on ice were brought out and very reasonably priced. There was a great selection of other refreshments too. Such a great start to our trip and would definitely return! "
"Super chilled boutique type hotel, where the family who ran it could not do enough for us. We forgot to tell them we were vegan, but the lady went out and bought food in to accommodate us, incredibly clean, just a perfect place to stay before going to a friends wedding over there, highly recommend this resort."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel with well appointed, very clean rooms. Wonder customer service. Go for the balcony rooms you won’t be disappointed to sit out an gaze at the wonderful location whether that’s taking in the ocean view or looking out at the architecture of Trani Cathedral across the courtyard. We happened to stay here on the night of the Trani annual summer festival and fireworks display on July 26th... what a bonus to sit out and see the truly breathtaking fireworks display. Book it you won’t be disappointed. ❤️"
"Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The location couldn’t be better, near the church and the port and the safe parking and shuttle to the car was much appreciated. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. The owners Ida and Gianluca along with their staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some wonderful dinners in Trani thanks to their recommendation and organizing reservations for us. It was a perfect start to our vacation"
"Intimate hotel on the edge of the water near the cathedral. It boasts an excellent restaurant with views to the port. Our room overlooked the sea with a side view of the cathedral. Location is key to everything in Trani. The harbour is still the main point of interest, considering it bustled with pilgrims and crusaders on their way to the Holy land.great breakfast"

"Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Transportation via courtesy bus is very efficient. Rooms extremely clean. All over very good atmosfere. Economy rooms are good but have very small windows high up. Detail, not clearly stated on website. Swimming pool although within the hotel compound, is actually privately operated. Strongly recommend the hotel for travellers or holiday makers."
"Very good hotel approximately 1 to 2 kilometers out of town. Not nice location of the hotel. Open air parking in the back. The room was comfortable, nice and clean, with modern bathroom facilities. The internet signal was good. Breakfast and dinner were very good and taste. The reception and other personnel were very professional and helpful. We were very satisfied with this hotel."

"My partner and I stayed for 1 night while on a road trip. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Parking outside, payed by machine outside till 9pm . Free buffet breakfast. Did the job. Location close by to lovely cafes and bars. Room clean and bathroom spotless. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family."
"The hotel staff is really kind, helpful and smiling. Unfortunately that's the only positive thing from our stay. Small rooms with old furniture. The air-conditioner can't heat up the room. There is an indoor parking, it costs 10 euro per day."

Via San Magno 34, Corato, Apulia, Italy
"We stayed for three nights and would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean with great air conditioning. But primarily due to the staff who went out of their way to be helpful. We assumed we could get a taxi to go to our family’s home but there were none in this city. Maximo took the time and drive us there both ways and another staff member took us to and from the laundry service. The breakfast was excellent and the fruit was exceptional. Great Cappuccinos!!"
"Checked in after getting stiffed at another accommodation. It was late in the day and Simona was at the front desk. Her English was very good, we don’t speak Italian, and she was all smiles as she greeted us and got us checked in. We got to our room, which was very comfortable, but was missing a few toiletries and needed a light bulb replaced. She got right on it herself, not waiting for any support staff, and took care of everything. Simona was so pleasant. She even did some translating for us and made a call to the accommodation that stiffed us to tell them we were not coming back. Parco Serrone is lucky to have people like that working for them."
"The hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms had all you needed. They are pet friendly and that was a good piont. However I have concerns that two of the fire doors had a chain and a padlock across them. We went to the resturant for a meal and despite it being a lovely summers evening , we were shown to a room in the basement which had not been tidied up after a previous service. Our waiter ignored us for about 10 minutes and we had to wait for drinks. The paste was okay but the main course was dry and salty with no side dishes. We shared our table with an army of ants and a squadron of flies. The room was a double but there was only one chair on the balcony"

Via Galileo Galilei 6, Trani, Apulia, Italy
"My wife chose the Riviera due to its proximity to the waterfront and although it was close, the surrounding noise level from neighbourhood families was a little high, but I put this own to the fact that it was school holidays. The room itself was quite small with only enough room for the bed and our luggage and the regulation table and chair. What we did have though was a very tiny balcony which gave us a view of the ocean, but not quite enough room for the two of us to sit on. The hotel staff were a bit reluctant to give any information, although the manager was friendly when pressed. The hotel is about 20 minutes easy walk from the harbour and my wife and I did this a couple of times, both sober and with drinks aboard. There are several beach bars along the waterfront along with a few restaurants. All the action takes place in town, where there are copious amounts of restaurants and bars. We particularly liked a small café near the waterfront where we imbibed for a few hours prior to sunset then walking into town for dinner. Hotel Riviera would be an economical choice for a short stay in Trani. So long as you don't mind a walk into town. They have allocated parking for guests and the breakfast is a typical Italian one with cake, cheese, fruit, cereals and all manner of other stuff that's bad for your heart, but great to eat, on the menu."
"We stayed here for only two nights on our way driving down to tour Puglia in the month of September. It was convenient, clean and sufficiently comfortable bed after hours of driving. We didn't have any special needs or requests so found the reception quite normal and courteous. If we were ever to return I would have no hesitation about making reservations here."
