Perfectly located between the train station and city center. The hotel has a good vibe and good breakfast, coffee made to the order, etc. it is all as shown in pictures and descriptions. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I recommend and come back again if I visit Bologna again

Location was great. We arrived in Bologna at 12pm. Our room was ready which was wonderful. The room itself was very nice, clean, wonderful bathroom. Very comfortable. Plenty of USB ports, great wifi. Good AC Would definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel is located on the main road of Bologna, across the road from the Cathedral. On the day of the check-in, a grand religious celebration is held, as it is close to the road and you can walk through the road to feel. The room is large, especially the bathroom, and it is no exaggeration to say that you can dance inside. There is an emergency alarm rope near the toilet and the shower. I have pulled two times in the unknown. I have to call the security immediately and need no assistance. It is quite professional and safe. The bathroom accessories are famous Italian brands, the quality is very good, they are brought back to China after they have not been used up, especially like it. The breakfast room was slightly crowded and the dishes were average, but there were even porridge dishes. Later, I learned that there were Japanese monks and local religious groups to hold a friendly relationship and cooperation ceremony during the stay. It was very interesting to walk from the hotel. The restaurant waiter also asked us about Chinese tastes and Chinese cuisine. Although the English communication between the two sides could not convey the essence of Chinese food, they communicated clearly with the help of the body language and imagination. The breakfast was really good. A cultural exchange platform, the restaurant waiter is also very friendly. In general, although it is not the best hotel in Italy, it is also a great place to experience.

This hotel in Bologna has no place to pick, with twin towers (6-8 minutes walk) and squares. Hotel facilities in general, the hotel itself is an old building, the decoration is a bit old, the style is definitely classical European, Ctrip score 4.8, I personally feel a little far-fetched, but I stayed for one night, and did not have the opportunity to experience the surrounding hotels, no way to detail To compare the situation. Talk about the details of the room I live in: the hotel is generally sanitary, the bedside wall curtain is a lot of dust, it seems that it has not been removed for cleaning for a long time. The quilt cover is rough and uncomfortable. The room layout I booked is OK, it is relatively large, with a living room. The front desk clerk gave a tip of ten euros and would be enthusiastic. The hotel only accepts WeChat and Alipay businesses. The hotel key is going to be stored at the front desk. When you return to the hotel, you will call the front desk clerk and give it to you (the form is special). Let me rate it and evaluate 4.6.

We really liked this hotel despite having got off to a poor start. The little lobby is nice with the cute staircase, despite the initial shabby street entrance. When we returned to room later at night, as we just put our stuff in the afternoon and left to explore the town we found just one chair and no suitcase holder. Having just come from Florence where there were two of everything I called reception. No answer. Ultimately I went down and asked the man at the front desk for the missing stuff. He banged on about the room being basic and that a double room is only space for 2 on the bed, one chair, no suitcase holder for any one as is the case anywhere else (according to him)!!!! The second time I came to ask for a chair as he would not respond to the phone, and again I had to call out for service. I heard him grumble and groan at being called. Again a banging on about the basic room. It's purported to be a four star so I was flummoxed but did not back down. I have some travel experience in my life. I got the stuff despite that unnecessary feeble exchange which I did not get the point of as from his attitude I had expected a real fight and was ready to leave the hotel. Thereafter I am happy to say it was smooth sailing and no further hitches. We were so happy to discover later that the others at the front desk were wonderful, as was the receptionist who checked us in before the unfortunate encounter. The breakfast room is lovely and airy. A few plants and flowers would make it perfect. Breakfast was pretty good and the service was absolutely smashing. The location is superb. Wonderful restaurants at hand, walking distance to the centre and everywhere good really. I guess they could do something to improve the street entrance (before one reached the sliding doors) as it looks pretty slummy and gives the wrong impression. Overall, great hotel, highly recommended. I do not let little incidents cloud my view.

The hotel is ideally located 5 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes walk from the city centre square, 20 euros by taxi to the airport and 10 minutes walk from the University of Bologna and the surrounding gastropub area. The room is a bit small, the air conditioning is not very powerful, but the cleaning is no problem. The front desk service is also very good, you can help call a taxi. Breakfast is basically the breakfast of a standard Italian hotel.

Very close to the Twin Towers and the main campus of Bologna, a very small hotel. Very clean and the room is not small. After staying, I went out for a lap and came back with a welcome fruit. The breakfast was underground, slightly darker, but it was also cleverly designed according to local conditions. Looking out the window of the room, you can see the corner of the twin towers. It is very quiet at night and sleeps very well. The front desk staff is very handsome and uncle, the whole hotel style is very artistic, and overall it is still very good stay experience.

The best four-star hotel in Bologna, quiet in the middle of nowhere, very close to the place, very new decoration, very artistic atmosphere.

This is a wonderful small family owned hotel in a great location in Bologna. We had many family members staying there on our way to a wedding and it was PERFECT! The staff (especially Marco) was great - friendly, helpful & spoke good English. The rooms are all different and extremely well appointed. The rate was good and the included breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.

My husband and I and our friends had a really wonderful stay at the Hotel Touring. The staff are all wonderful, helpful and friendly. Rooms are very pleasant and comfortable if a little expensive for what they are. The location is perfect… just slightly out of the centre but only a short walk to the Piazza Maggiore. Highlight is the glorious rooftop terrace bar which is delightful for an evening aperitif. We will definitely be back.

The room design in this hotel is particularly strange. First of all, as soon as I entered room 236 and found that there was a door next to the toilet, it could not be locked. I asked the waiter what the room was for? The waiter didn't say anything, he said it was locked, so don't worry. Is this weird? Why is there another door in the room? Then I went to see the floor plan of the whole floor. In addition to 236, there were similar situations in several rooms such as 222, 237, and 238. The walls and corridors outside the room are decorated with oil paintings and mirrors, which are also very strange. Every large mirror or large oil painting feels like it can be opened. There is a door-like hinge on one side of the frame . For example, outside the walls of the corridors 236 and 222, there are large mirrors or oil paintings.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to Maggiore Square, but it takes five or six minutes to walk to the train station. The room was very large, the hotel's welcome fruit plate was the most sincere I had ever met, the quality was very high, I liked it very much. This is the city of food, but the temporary reservation of the restaurant is not easy. After one night was rejected by several restaurants, I found that the hotel's own restaurant was also great and solved the dinner perfectly. The hotel's garden is also very beautiful, and a cup of coffee in the afternoon is very pleasant. In short, I think this hotel is actually far more than many five-star hotels, which is very recommended.

On our round trip through northern Italy, we stopped in Bologna from 24.7.-25.7.22. We had booked a Classic double room at UNAHotels Bologna Centro via an online platform. Likewise, we already know UNAHotels from previous stays in other cities. The hotel is located outside the old town. It's a comfortable 20-minute walk. Unfortunately, the check-in did not work smoothly. The room was not ready at 13.15. The reception could not even check us in. They could only do that when the room was ready. I have never experienced anything like this and it has never happened in any other UNA hotel. Fortunately, we were able to drop off the luggage. A garage is also an advantage in Bologna. The reservation worked without a problem here, cost 22 euros per night. The room was very good. Size, comfort and cleanliness were perfect. The bathroom is also good. Everything necessary is available. Modern furnishings. Our request for a room on the upper floors was met. Wifi is good. The breakfast has everything you could want. Despite the discrepancies at check in, we can recommend the UNAHotels Bologna Centro.

The Una Hotel in Central Bologna is a modern, clean and bright hotel. Our room was very spacious and very orange - which was fine but like being in an EasyJet room! We were at the back of the hotel so it was quiet and we slept well on a large comfortable bed. There is a wide food selection for breakfast with local produce from the area. Breakfast can be eaten on the patio if you like dining al fresco. This is everything you would expect from a well run, organised hotel company, with helpful staff.

Nice modern hotel, in the middle of the old town half a block off of Via dell'Indipendenza..so you are close to everything. As it’s a modern hotel, it has all the appointments with a good size desk, plenty of outlets, comfortable bed, large bathroom etc. Yes the plastic furniture is a bit much, and some is not really functional, but its still a great room, location, and service. Our room was very large with a balcony. Bed was comfortable, service was superb, and wifi was fine. I had a big birthday while I was there and my sons called the hotel from the US to arrange for a birthday cake and note to be delivered to our room. We got back to our room before dinner and there was this lovely decorated cake, display, note, big candle etc. The hotel did a great job and clearly went out of their way to make this happen. BRAVO! There was no parking at the hotel, but there is a garage just around the block that they have an arrangement with. Just reserve ahead with the hotel. The photos on the hotel website are indicative of the rooms and hotel A couple suggestions to those staying at the hotel: 1. dropping off your luggage - - the street the hotel is on is a very narrow street blocked at one end where you would walk on to Via dell'Indipendenza. In driving to the hotel to drop our bags off google maps had me turning right on to their street, Via dell’ Orso, from Viccola Quartirolo…do not do that. you are not supposed to drive there, plus its a one way (left only) and its very hard to make the right turn anyway given the narrow street and restaurant on the corner. The restaurant people told us to back up back on to Viccola Quartirolo…. Then make a left and then back up down the street to the hotel. When it was time to leave, we rolled our bags down to where the restaurant was and then I went and got the car and stopped right there when I made the left turn . 2. room darkening - the first night at the hotel I did not see any shades to stop the light coming in from the balcony. The next morning I realized there were shutter doors to close on the balacony …which I did not notice at night. Overall, between the location, service, and accommodations, I would highly recommend staying at the hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Metropolitan was the saving grace of our visit to Bologna. Honestly, I wish we hadn't added this city to our trip, it is big and busy and there isn't much to see, of course the food is great. BUT if Bologna is on your itinerary then the Hotel Metroplitan is a must. Set close to the city but somehow very quiet and peaceful. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful rooftop terrace and in the comfortable lobby (when it was raining) Our room was comfotable (bed and pillows were a little too firm for us, but still good) and clean and large enough to unpack and settle in. Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay. the room is lovely and the food was tasty and beautiful. Plus the barrista was fabulous. All in all, we highly recommend this hotel.

The Starhotel Excelsior is located directly across the street from the central train station, thus is very convenient for those arriving to Bologna by rail. It is also very easy to come in by car without having to battle the traffic of central Bologna and parking is very easy. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the central square. The walk is pleasant day or night on streets lined with shops and restaurants. The area around central station is lively at any time and feels reasonably safe. The hotel itself is quite modern. Rooms are large and quiet despite its proximity to the bustle of the train station. The quality of the rooms and service is extremely good for the price.

This is an excellent hotel: businesslike, sleek look and our room was spacious and neat. The check-in was very friendly (although a bit on the slow side), and the breakfast buffet was -certainly by Italian standards- very extensive and of excellent quality. The location of the hotel is good too, especially for train travelers, as it is right opposite the station. There were some unsavory people hanging around in the area between the station and the hotel entrance in the evening, but that didn't bother us. The hotel is not too far from the city centre either. We will definitely come back here if we ever visit Bologna again!
