The cabana could have had a/c, shower, or private commode for the price. The hallway had an odd smell on the day we left. Grounds were very well landscaped.

The staff was fantastic, from check in to check out. Rooms are clean and spacious. There was a nice assortment of breakfast items. The bar was convenient, we did carry out one night and bought drinks at the bar. I had one small issue with the sofa in the room, it is very uncomfortable, I know it is a sofa bed, but the back was too low. The only other thing that would make this place nicer would be a canopy at the entrance so guests could unload and load their vehicles without getting wet when it rains. Not our first time there and we will be back.

I stayed here for a quick girlfriend’s pickleball getaway and the location was great. Not far from the PicklePlex at all. 9 courts and there are more that are being built! It has great views of the Marina across the street (you can hear some road noise in the Marina rooms), water views over the bridge to Port Charlotte, and you can literally walk to the Tiki Hut for cocktails, music, and sunsets. Nicely laid out hotel and decent breakfast options in the morning. Friendly staff too. Fisherman’s Village is right down the road (driving) and just a neat town all the way around. Pizza Gorda is a definite authentic Italian pizza restaurant close by and a must!! Check out the Wyvern hotel for a beautiful rooftop cocktail and amazing views. This place is pet friendly as well, but not a lot of grass area, but great boardwalk access to walk your pet and you can take them to the the tiki hut too! They also have bikes for you to use. I would definitely stay here again.

We were greeted warmly by Michelle upon check in, and she noted our special requests. Although we received the towels we requested, the trash was not disposed of during our 3 night stay. Make sure to make your requests known on check in. The hotel is the updated version of HIE and there were no issues with cleanliness, the breakfast or the staff. They were all wonderful! The pool was a saltwater pool, and was very enjoyable. Close to I-75 and the PG airport but we had no issues with noise.

We stayed here with family for an overnight before heading to FLL and a cruise. Our daughter had just flown into Punta Gorda airport and this location is spot on for picking someone up and sleeping the night. Her flight came in very late night. The staff was very nice. The property well maintained and clean. Would absolutely stay again - right off of 75.

We had left over food from other people also was promised a free breakfast that we payed extra for that was only yogurt and a hard prepackaged boiled egg and vending machines no breakfast nothing

My girl friend and I stayed at this location on Sunday, March 7. In booking the room Shannon at the front desk was most helpful and personable. The room was clean with many amenities. However when we came down stairs the next morning the breakfast was much below pare. There was no coffee available, no toast or bagels, and the only fruit was several apples and 2 bananas that were several days old. The staff has to brew coffee since they could not get the machine to work. There were only 6 or 7 small boxes of cereal which were gone within 10 minutes of our arrival to the area. I realize restrictions are in place as a result of Covid, but this breakfast selection was small at best. The staff kept telling folks that complained that the ”truck comes tomorrow” whatever that means. Management had to know that food selection would be low, so they could have planned adequately. We were disappointed since I have stayed at this chain previously and have always been pleased with the experience.
