"My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights while I had a training course there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel in general, and the room we stayed in was clean despite being a bit oldish. The most important thing in the heat of July is to have a good air-conditioner to be able to sleep through the night - and it worked well. We were in room 218, which is lovely as it has a balcony facing toward the sea. The only problem was the noisy traffic at nights (especially Saturday night)as there is a 6 lane road right outside the window. Lucky we had ear plugs. We loved the breakfast - there was plenty of varied food to choose from. There is also a lovely rooftop garden area to lounge in which has a nice view, but unfortunately we discovered it just before leaving. We went for a morning swim each day across the road. The beach is about 2 minutes walk away and is a refreshing way to start each day. There are plenty of good eating places and shops in the area. Nice location. We would stay there again."
"I couldn't think of better location for a hotel in Glyfada. Nice beach just across the road (which surprisingly wasn't veeery noisy), all the shops and cafeterias are also within 5-10 min walk. Pros: location, clean rooms, good food for 3 star hotel, rooftop bar with amazing view, polite stuff, normal wi-fi. Cons: overall you can see that the hotel is old, air conditioner was veeery slow, we had to do the trick with leaving the card inside (so the air con keeps working and finally makes the room cold). Rooms are locked with keys."
"Enjoyed our one week stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of variety and decent coffee. Good location, next to glyfada square and Tram station. Just 50m from bus stop (you can catch X96 express bus from airport) and travel with ease to city centre or beach at vouliagmeni. Walking distance from Glyfada beach. We were lucky to have a sea facing room, although a bit noise because of street traffic, we enjoyed people watching from our balcony. "

"The Four Seasons has done a lovely job with their renovation of the Astir Palace; the grounds, rooms, food and service were all fabulous. We were fortunate to be there at a quieter time but when the October sun was still strong enough to allow you to enjoy your days by the sea and your evening on the terrace with a light sweater. I have to be honest I am not sure I would want to be there in high season when the hotel is full. It is bigger than most Four Seasons, with some 300 rooms and even in October the pool and kid’s club in the Nafiska building were too packed for us. We stayed at the other end of the resort that was so quiet it felt that we had it largely to ourselves. In terms of rooms, the Bungalows with private terraces (some with a pool) are definitely the way to go. I would aim for a bungalow that is higher up and away from the walking paths as you get more privacy. The food was particularly good and access to the Nobu and Beef Bar restaurants on the property was a treat; we ate at each twice it was so good. Breakfast was included and was extensive and delicious. We preferred the smaller breakfast terrace in the Arion building, which was more discrete and quieter. A perfect place to escape in shoulder season when you can have more of the place to yourself."
"We went for a quick 4 day trip to the Four Seasons with our kids - it’s a beautiful property and I think had the weather been warmer, it would have been a great spot to enjoy the amenities. Our breakfasts were good with nice service, and my kids swam in the pool even thought the outside temp was quite cold! Our rooms were gorgeous. We had two rooms side by side for our family of 5. We had a great dinner outside one night with excellent food. If you take an Uber or taxi to the city center, count on 30 minutes. "
"Stayed here for 3 days in September. From the moment we arrive till the last moment we were blown away by the quality of the hotel. Excellent food, service and amenities. The hotel is on the beach and you have direct access. It’s the perfect location for both couples and families with lots of space for both to enjoy. Can’t wait to be back in June 2021. Highly recommend this hotel "

"Very good hotel service is superb. The clean and unspoiled bed of the hotel is very comfortable. The breakfast is rich and the scenery is beautiful. Dinner on the 8th floor restaurant was very noisy when it came to a classic car dinner and the restaurant’s style was not good."
"The hotel location is particularly good, located in the "Tiananmen Square" of Greece, is the most central location of Athens. The breakfast room can see the Acropolis, the view is super good, and shopping around is very convenient."
"A variety of first-class hotels, no doubt, old hotels, boutique afternoon tea, good in-depth service experience, real home away from home, must come again next time!"

"We spent a night at the Ergon House. Not knowing Athens, we found its location to be excellent. It was within a five minute walk of the beautiful Plaka district and within walking distance of the Acropolis. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the shower excellent. Our bed was on a raised plinth which made it difficult to get around but we could see the Acropolis from our window. The corridors to the bedrooms look a little worse for wear and dated compared to the rooms. The roof top bar is lovely and has view to the Acropolis. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had - very generous portions. There is also a deli in the restaurant which has some lovely foodie items as well as a good selection of Greek wines. Would love to return one day. "
"We have stayed at Ergon House hotel for 3 nights. The room was on the 3rd floor and had an inside window facing the restaurant below. The room was modern, clean with a separate shower and toilet. A bit narrow but ok for two people. The restaurant below had an amazing a la cart breakfast which was incluted in the room price. Service was very good and friendly. The place was packed all day round. The only negative was the dinner we had on our last night there which I didnt like the food at all in comparison with breakfast. I let them know and hope they took my comment in consideration. Overall I would def stay there again and roccomend it to my friends as well."
"Great hotel, amazing location, walking distance from almost all major locations. The room was well organized and very clean, staff were very helpful and kind. For breakfast you can choose anything you like from the menu, and the food was incredible. We will certainly come back."
