"Very good niche travel destination, it is recommended, the hotel is good: 1, diet: breakfast in the middle of the rules,; booked half-board, dinner dishes can be; service attitude is very good; 2, parking: definitely have to go by car, stayed for two nights, the hotel garage 40 euros stopped for one day, Italy parking costs are similar in several cities, very expensive. 3, room: booked is the administrative sea view room (that is, the 4th floor room), the room area is really small, it is more than a dozen flat, a suitcase will be, two suitcases can not open, slightly have a nainai tide However, the executive room has a small balcony that can be smoked to see the scenery (the balcony will be covered by the room, which does not affect the view), and if it is the 4th floor (408, 409), the balcony does not have a room. But basically can't stand, no area, and the view will be blocked by other rooms, we just switched to other rooms. It feels like the room with 2 floors is the best room type. Compared to the Italian attractions, the hotel pays attention to the view, not the inner space (area, facilities, etc.). 4, small town: Comments can not describe, you need to experience, I lived for two nights, one day by boat to go to the Cinque Terre, I feel no sense and necessary, just relax in the port town to stay and go very good (especially Easy to get motion sickness and seasickness, the boat is very bumpy and easy to seasick, very tossing, the Cinque Terre did not look at it during the day) Overall satisfaction is very worth remembering"
"The location is very good. Service is good, but the hotel says 5 stars, it feels like a 3 star business hotel. A price of 3000 or so a night is not high. Then the Cinque Terre is nothing special, no need to go. It’s good to see a colorful house to go to PORTOFINO, and it’s a lot of it. It’s been an hour and a half since driving."
"The hotel is in a port with almost no Chinese, and it is nearly 50 kilometers from the Cinque Terre. There is really no need to live here. The hardware itself is good, the service is quite satisfactory, the manager is not very friendly, the price is high, and it is not worth it."

"We spent one week in July 2018 at this residence. We had a three room apartment which was clean and in good condition although very basic. Aircondition was nor included in the rate. The balcony was facing the car park with good views to the mountains but unfortunately also to the high way and a fairly loud bar (Power Slave). At times the pool was busy and opening hours were limited (9.30-19.30) ie. no morning or evening swim. Premises were nice and clean but also worn out. Overall very good location for touring this part of Italy but price vs value is questionable."

"If you’ve always wanted an Italian sister (am I the only one?), this place is for you. The suite is managed by Veronica - the most fabulous, lovely, attentive and adorable host I’ve ever experienced in my travels. The suite is stunning, with amazing sunset views. Clean, comfortable bed (big plus) with nice features like a sauna/steam room.... and a nice jacuzzi on the patio! The jacuzzi does not have a view but it has plenty of privacy. If you stay with Veronica, she will help you get a train starting many days in advance of your trip - pick you up from the station (with a giant smile and hug!) and be your personal travel guide for the entire trip. Take her recommendations. She is honest about what is good and what is not. Also be sure to get her breakfast service.... but plan for that to be your only meal until dinner! It is a ton of great food! I still have dreams about her Amaretti tiramisu. Also be sure to hit the best restaurant in town.... La Macelleria. It is the best food we had on our trip! Thank you for such a wonderful visit, Veronica. We hope to see you again! Bob and Erika "
"We were worried about Cinque Terre. We heard stories of weak air conditioning (if there was air conditioning), bugs, smelly bathrooms and rude hosts. After reading the reviews - we decided to stay with Veronica at Terra Prime. It was the correct choice. Veronica is an amazing host. She works extraordinarily hard to make your stay perfect. We are not the biggest eaters so we did not have Veronica make much for us - although she generously provided a snack and drink upon arrival. The room itself is amazing and very well appointed. plenty of room, a huge bathroom, very comfortable bed, great setup and a beautiful terrace - and even a hot tub and a sauna. There is literally nothing that could make it better. My only regret is we didn't stay a bit longer. If you are worried about finding luxury accommodations - stay here. Veronica helps with reservations and makes amazing suggestions - and she knows everyone and has the inside track to whatever your need. Thank you Veronica for a wonderful stay!"
"This place stands out in all respects - a very well sized accommodation, with beautiful bathroom appliances and its excellent location - close to the action in town, yet very peaceful. A view of the hills behind and the sea from a nice high point complete the great set-up. Facilities, nice setup apart, what really makes this a very special place is Veronica - who runs this place. Her passion for hosting comes through in every detail (be it the bed-sheet fabric, choice of pillows ..), in her very caring attitude, the pleasant surprises she springs up and her welcoming way - all done with extremely high spirit, joy and pride for her town. Veronica made a very joyous trip to Cinque Terre completely memorable. Wishing her and the team supporting her the very best in all they do and for years to come ... Manish (and Sonika)"

"First of all, let's talk about the view... it's truly breathtaking, front pretty much every room and every spot on the grounds. The location is really perfect to visit Cinque Terre by boat -- not too far from the marina at Bocca di Magra. Although it's not a brand new property, and the rooms (and especially the bathrooms) are small, the views and the grounds really make up for it. ... and then there's the staff. Everybody we met was absolutely outstanding and went above and beyond the call of duty. In particular, Claudia helped us book two amazing tours that I would not have found without her. And Serena found and shipped back to me the sunglasses I distractingly left behind -- something no other hotel I have stayed in would have done so kindly. One important note: the parking lot (where you park and/or get dropped off) is unmarked and is NOT within walking distance of the actual hotel, so please make sure you call them when you get to Montemarcello so they can point you to the parking and come and pick you up in one of their electric vehicles. All in all: highly recommended, should definitely be part of your bucket list."
"Beautiful hotel on the cliff of Montemarcello, with breathtaking views over Golfo dei Poeti. We were greeted at the parking by a charming man (who was the "working" owner ;-) ) and transported to the hotel with an electric mini-car. Rooms are large and bright. Beds are excellent and bathroom not large but well-appointed. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Breakfast is excellent on the terrace overlooking the Golfo. Diner was due to low season only a sort of snacks and bites, but well presented and with excellent price/quality. Again the "working owner" was helpful at presenting some good italian wines. The hotel is quite expensive; but that's the case for all hotels in the region. But it's a special place and for us a memorable stay."
"My wife and I drove here and stayed for 3 nights in Sept 2018. We relaxed the day we arrived, had a spa day and toured cinque terre on another day. Cinque Terre gets Disneyland level crowded - but still worth seeing especially by traveling via boat. So staying at a quite place with beautiful views was very much appreciated. We had breakfast and dinner here all three days and the restaurant food, service and views were highlights of our two week trip."

"The Paradiso has a steep road behind and a narrow road in front separating it from the harbour. Most of its value lies in the location, such that I was pleased to have an upper floor room with a view. My room was quite small, but with furniture making good use of the limited space. The bed was firm and very comfortable, with excellent sheets/ bedspread and no dismal duvet. The projecting legs at the lower corners will readily trip you . The combination of windows and shutters gave good protection from the sun and external noise, but the air conditioning did not work (this was the case in other rooms). The bathroom was small, but had good ventilation from window and external shutters. The base corner of the extremely small shower cubicle was another hazard for the toes. An average breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace."
"Location is great. Two minutes walk from the town centre bus stop AWAY from the tourist zone. Fabulous view over the bay from our beds and the terrace and breakfast room where we found ourselves hanging out a lot. Friendly and efficient staff. Room was well equipped, spacious enough and unlike other reviews our bathroom (242) was also a reasonable size. I was surprised that anyone could rate this hotel poor or terrible, I see these ratings are all from old reviews (2010,2011), maybe a renovation occurred. Anyway, we didn’t want to leave and would definitely recommend it to anyone going to the area. "
"My husband, granddaughter, and I spent one night in this lovely hotel arriving from Cinque Terre to witness the annual Madonna Bianca Festival in Porto Venere. Our triple room was perfect with a winding staircase to a large loft with three single beds and a chest. Our granddaughter loved having her own space and could also enjoy the spectacular view which we enjoyed from our window of the beautiful Ligurian Sea. Off of the hotel's lobby was a lovely sitting area overlooking the sea plus an outdoor area with tables where we dined that evening. The location was very convenient to the waterfront and main piazza....an easy walk to the heart of this gorgeous area. Highly recommend!!"

"Albergo Barbara was literally perfect in every way. Situated directly on the main square in Vernazza (the best village) we couldn’t have been better situated to explore the other villages! The staff are so helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to make sure we knew which train to catch, communicating via WhatsApp which was so handy, and recommended some local restaurants and wine. Our attic room was cosy and spotless, the beds are firm but comfortable, especially the pillows! There is a lovely view from the attic window over the water (plus free coffee!) I genuinely don’t understand the negative comments on here unless it has changed hands recently?? We were so happy with our stay and would definitely return! Thank you so much for a lovely 2 night stay 😊"
"From the outside it looks old and it has no lift BUT we absolutely loved our stay with a passion. Our room inside was newly revamped, clean and comfy. The bathroom was very clean and new. From our room we had an awesome view of the gorgeous boats in the harbour. The village square was so available to us. Ten places to eat/drink within 150 mtrs. The train station is a very short walk away. We swam most days in the clear Mediterranean Sea, about 100 mtrs from our door. I will be heartily recommending this place to my friends. "
"The location is outstanding, in the piazza by the harbour, just metres from the sea. The staff were really helpful and friendly, would definitely stay again, but would book early and choose an ocean view. We were in the double room on the 3rd floor, internal view and it seemed to have a couple of hot water tanks in the bathroom, making the room very warm. The small a/c unit was very loud so it was hard to sleep. We saw the sea view rooms on check out and they didn't have the heat issue and looked great. We didn't see the attic rooms."

"Good location, right next to the train station, the room is good but small, poor, breakfast is not expected to be bad, basically nothing to eat, staying for two days is a waste of time, in fact, should arrive early in the morning, afternoon After the game, I will go the next morning."
"The hotel is in a good location, right next to the train station. The room facilities are perfect, the area is large, and the functional partitions are very good. Have breakfast, good quality. Overall the service is very good"
"The breakfast is very rich and the location is very good opposite the train station. La Spezia's two rooms cannot accommodate children or extra beds."
