Reviews From Real Travelers
The surrounding area of the hotel is very convenient. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the most central shops and restaurants. There are various kinds of food, most of them are walking. Some old buildings are beautiful and there is a park. In addition, the hotel is only a few minutes away from the lake. View, there is a children’s museum by the lake, and you can go on a yacht. Every Friday night, there is a lobster buffet on the yacht. Living here is a very good choice for families and individuals.

The hotel is newly renovated and the interior decoration is very modern! The room is also very new, clean and tidy! The coffee is also super good! ! ! Very nice hotel, can't fault it. But the city of Burlington is cold and fun, passing by and staying for one night is enough.

Reviews From Real Travelers
It was our first time in Burlington and I am so glad we chose this property for our four night stay. EVERYONE on staff was friendly and accommodating. We did upgrade to a lake view and it was worth it. Room was spacious and clean with lots of extra towels. We opted to for go daily cleaning service. Extra pillow and blanket were provided in the closet. Air conditioning worked wonderfully. We were invited to the manager’s evening reception on the day we checked in and it was incredible with gourmet appetizers. There is a great area in the lobby for relaxing. WiFi was exceptional. We did have breakfast on our last morning and it too was awesome from the service to the meal. Although I didn’t use it, the gym was very good. Even had a Peloton bike.

We paid almost $500 per night & realized shortly there after this place typically goes for around $150. Not sure why the major price gouge. It's definitely more of a $150.00 price point. Spa was packed with kids not even staying at the hotel. Bubbles didn't work in the spa. Bathroom floor had hair on it upon check as well as what looked like pillow stuffing on the carpet. The restaurant menu looked amazing, but we tried it first day of the menu change which didn't go so well. They must have been overwhelmed, which left us underwhelmed. We paid for the lake view upgrade, but our room was right in front of trees, so we could hardly see the lake at all. (something they should tell you when you pay the upgrade). I will say the location was great & the front desk staff was super friendly. But I would not pay almost $2000 for a three night stay here again. We've paid less for 5 star hotels.

I am a Bonvoy Silver card holder. I booked this hotel because it was supposed to be one of it’s better properties. The price certainly implied that. A two day stay, with tax included was over $650. The room was poorly designed. Upon entering the room I noticed that the bathroom sink was on the left side of the hallway. ( we’ll call it a hallway sink). On the right side of the hallway was a door to the remaining parts of the bathroom. It to had its problems. The room was maybe 4 ‘ by 6’ with a toilet so close to the door you needed to straddle the toilet or step into the shower to close the door. Back to the hallway sink. The faucet on the sink was short (3 maybe 4”) and was set so far back on the sink that the water barely made it into the sink. It made it hard to wash or fill a glass with water. This place was not like other Marriott properties where I have stayed. I will not be going back there in the future.

The Lobby was nice and easy to navigate. The staff was very helpful and eager to do what they could to help in any way, They offered cookies and brownies for snacks. The ceilings in the halls are very low. The rooms were fairly nice, the HVAC units were so noisy my co-worker had to change rooms. My room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom had a tub-shower. The hotel conference area was very usable, and quite distressed. The hotel was nice, but it is showing its age and is very overpriced.

Reviews From Real Travelers
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I enjoy staying at different properties throughout the Hilton portfolio. On a recent quick trip up to Burlington, I decided to stay at this Doubletree. I found the property to be clean and spacious. While I wasn't able to actually choose a room through pre-check-in, I was assigned to a room at the end of the hall which was adequate for my needs. Despite facing the freeway interchange, noise was no factor. There was plenty of space for my belongings. The internet and TV worked fine, and there were enough outlets to charge my devices. Buffet breakfast in the Atrium was great as well. The only nit I have is that the property's web page advertises a ”free local shuttle” which I never got to use. I travelled to & from Burlington by Amtrak and would be at Union Station downtown. I called the hotel by phone during my travels to Burlington and was told that the shuttle would not be available when the train arrives shortly before 10 PM. OK.... I would take Uber. But they told me one would be available to take me downtown in the morning. When I inquired at check-in about a shuttle in the morning, I was told that it doesn't go to the train station but only goes to other locations. OK.... I'd Uber back as well. Round trip cost me over $60 because I had to reserve the hotel-bound trip in advance to ensure no long wait at 10 PM. Overall it was a great stay, and the location comes recommended (if you don't need a ride to travel there!)

We were visiting the region, basically using VRBO type properties for a week. But on return to go home, decided to stay in a hotel. Doubletree has always been a consistent pick, generally reasonably priced and comfortable accommodations. This was no different, it was a great pick. Now, that said, it was disappointing to see capitalism at it's best in October. For unknown reasons, we had a hard time finding anything ”reasonably” priced and had to pay over $400 for a room. I can't fault them I suppose if there was an event, but still, a frustrating experience when that's all you can find (Garden Inn was sold out!) Foliage there this week was outstanding and maybe that brought out crowds. Room had a Keurig and refrigerator which was nice. I think a microwave too, but now can't recall as didn't use that. I think Keurig is better than the usual lousy coffee in a drip machine at many hotels. They supplied Green Mountain K cups. I heard after we checked in that we could have had a mountain view which wasn't offered. I suppose again, I could have asked. We had an inside view, but then spent little time in the room anyway. But for that price, you'd want a great room! One annoyance was calling customer care to find out about checkout times...phone rang and rang and rang. We had breakfast included and it was an ok buffet. Server was very pleasant and helpful. The usual reconstituted eggs, cereals, etc. I would gladly stay again if visiting the area, and hopefully rates would be back down to earth.

Staying at this hotel was comfortable, unfortunately the pool was being repaired so we couldn’t make use of it. The check in process was cumbersome! Breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was very good. Our room type cannot accommodate an extra bed, but there is a sofa bed that can be opened. Many families are taking children. There are two parking lots, close to the two doors, very large, and finally there are vacancies. The staff is very warm and courteous.
