What a great hotel, full of history, with a not to be missed museum and ancient convent next door. The Parador is a renovation of the sixteenth-century Monastery-Hospital of San Marcos for pilgrims walking the Camino Frances, and is one of the most important monuments of the Spanish Renaissance. Our room was in the renovated part overlooking the Plaza de San Marcos. It had a spectacular view, and was quiet, spacious, charming, and luxurious. The art in the common areas is impressive as are the exposed excavations of the ancient hospital and earlier dwellings. A great place to stay for a last night of comfort if you are planning on starting your Camino in Leon. It is located right on The Way with a monument to the pilgrim right out the front door.

The hotel is attached to the basilica in the old square and is arranged with a central garden. We had a great room, Novembre, which had a good size bathroom and the most comfortable bed in our stay. There was a conference being hosted at the hotel but this didn’t bother us, we heard nothing, others in our group were disturbed a little. Breakfast was very good with the usual hot/cold selections, including fizz! Parking is outside and not secure but the city feels very safe. We love Leon.

the hotel is very well located, close to the Cathedral and main places to visit in Leon, but the best is the staff, very professional and kind. The rooms are nice, clean and confortable!!! Tripadvisor should reduce the requirement of 200 characters! that's too much for free!!!!!

The location is in the city center, opposite the English Palace, breakfast is good, parking is also convenient. Ps: There are many celebrities coming and going during the festival.

stayed there with family for two nights, perfect location for strolling around the city and enjoying what Leon has to offer hotel has an interesting interior and has decent offering of food, as a tea drinker would prefer some better options at breakfast overall satisfied

I liked the location,in less than a quarter of an hour walking you reach any point of your interest, we have a very good rest. Quality/price of the very good room(that the cathedral is viewed from the window of the room to far ... was a plus We wanted to enjoy the city and from the hotel it was easy.

A very nice hotel in a good location, approx a 15 min walk to the centre. Room clean and comfortable. It was disappointing that the bar/snack bar was not operational due to the coffee machine being out of order and reception had no idea when it would be repaired, we stayed for three nights but it was out of order for the whole of our stay. The breakfast room was bright & airy with friendly staff and a reasonable selection of food. An enjoyable stay.
